I had the mozzarella and tomato salad to start. The mozzarella was so fresh and tasty. I had a spinach and ricotta calzone for dinner. The sauce for dipping the calzone in was delicious! I love your food!! I was telling everyone in the office how great it was. I will definitely be ordering from here again!!!

Highly recommended the clam pizza, very crispy and tasty, with lemons it's very refreshing. Cash only, there's an ATM in the middle of the restaurant

Lombardi‘s had some of the best pizza that I have had in New York City. We ordered the double pepperoni pizza and it was amazing. Just the right amount of sauce. The place was not too busy and it did not take long for the pizza to come out. All around good experience. Would recommend.

Had Lombardi's suggested to me, as a place worth visiting while in the Big Apple. So we headed over there for a bite to eat, stepped in and it was like stepping back in time! The interior decor and vibe of the whole place, was brilliant and gave off such an oldy-worldy feel. As it states, it's been going since 1905 and was America's first pizzeria. With visiting during the week, and earlier on during the day, there were plenty of seats available. We were served by a very pleasant gentleman, ordered a root beer that tasted super and we decided on the 'Meatball, Ricotta, Garlic' pizza. When it arrived, it had a lovely crunchy crust all the way around, with plenty of ricotta and meatballs on top. Super hot and super tasty, a pizza that was delicious from the first bite, right down to the very last. If I remember right, it came to a little over $30 - maybe a bit more, including the tip - but was more than worth it without a doubt!

Very nice Italian restaurant, friendly staff and good service. The peperoni pizza was great, the aperol spritz not quite but the overall experience has been good. Totally recommend it.

To be able to visit the America's first pizzeria was experience my fiance and I would never forget. We were seated right away and the service was quick. The meatballs and pizza was fantastic! I wish we had Lombardi's in Georgia!

Walked in on a Monday evening and had to wait around 45 mins (around 7 pm) for a table for 3. The place gives buzzers that alert you when the table is ready.

We ordered a pepperoni and a pizza with arugula and prosciutto. It took about 15 mins until we received our first pizza. Once we finished that, we kept waiting until about 15 mins later the waiter asked if we wanted our bill. Turns out, they had completely forgotten we were still waiting for our order. They finally brought it out (later than the 4 mins they told us)…

The pepperoni was quite salty, and it felt like the crust on the other was a bit too doughy. The crust was nothing special and I was happy to leave the crust in my plate.

At the end, all they did was offer us 10% discount for all the delays. The restaurant is cash only by the way. So make sure to have enough handy, although they have an ATM machine inside.

Overall, I don’t recommend going here - even if there’s no waiting. I think this place is only surviving because of earlier fame. You can get better pizza at countless other places.

Lombardi’s Pizza absolutely lives up to its legendary reputation. From the moment you walk in, you feel the history—this place is pure New York. The coal-fired brick oven gives the pizza that perfect balance of a crisp, slightly charred crust with a soft, chewy center that’s hard to beat.
The margherita pizza is outstanding: fresh mozzarella, bright tomato sauce, fragrant basil, and just the right amount of olive oil. Every bite tastes simple, intentional, and perfectly executed. The clam pie is also a must-try—savory, garlicky, and loaded with flavor without being heavy.
The pizza are a bit small, but great to eat. The only small complaint was we did not finish our pizzas and had to ask 4 times to get them to-go.
Service is friendly and efficient, even when it’s busy, and the atmosphere feels authentic and unpretentious—exactly what you want from an iconic NYC pizzeria. This isn’t trendy pizza; it’s timeless pizza.
If you want to experience real New York pizza history done right, Lombardi’s is a must-visit. I’d come back again and again.

Lombardi’s is a classic New York City spot that’s definitely worth the visit. The pizza has a great old-school feel with a solid crust, rich sauce, and quality cheese. You can really taste the history and tradition in every slice. The atmosphere is lively and authentic, making it a great place to sit down and enjoy a real NYC pizza experience. I’d absolutely come back again.

Wonderful pizzeria. Had the pepperoni pizza and it was fantastic. I get their pizzas on goldbelly as well since I'm from far away. It's a bit tight in the restaurant however so you have to arrive at the right time. Not sure if they take reservations. If you're in the area I definitely recommend.

Hate to be that guy but... while it may be first, it definitely isn't best. Pizza was 3/10 for me. Also got the pesto pasta dish... very bland 2/10.

Thought it would be fun to eat at the "first" pizza place but this is a one and done and not worth the story, sorry Lombardi's! Other people are Rating this highly which makes me feel a bit gaslit tbh. Had WAY better pizza in Tokyo... among other places.

1 marg pizza, 1 pesto pasta, 2 wines - $90 out the door and both left disappointed.

Stopped here on a whim and we were informed as soon as we entered that they only accept cash. Thankfully we’d be able to handle that, so we were seated.

We ordered a house salad, a double pepperoni pizza, and a raspberry Italian soda. The salad wasn’t super special, but their creamy vinaigrette was the true star! The pizza was tasty and perfectly baked, but more cheese and a little less sauce would have made it perfect for us. The Italian soda was extremely refreshing and we look forward to trying the other flavors. At first glance it was a bit pale, but the flavor immediately put those doubts to rest!!

The customer service was amazing and we definitely enjoyed our experience there. We walked out full, satisfied, and ready to take on the NYC heat!

Wonderful experience. We went on a Monday night. We were able to get a table right away, but even at 8:30pm it was still packed. The waiter was amazing, the atmosphere was nice, a lot of props and interesting decor. Very clean. The pizza is soooo good. They have vegan cheese that's actually pretty good. The meatballs are delicious as well. The sauces they use are top notch! The pizza crust is unique. Just enough crunch, chewiness, and aoft texture. It's perfection. There is only one bathroom which is the one thing that was very annoying. Parking is extremely limited but there is a parking garage a few minutes walk away. But you have to expect that when visiting NYC. The prices weren't bad either. I was expecting it to be more expensive. About 20 bucls for a pizza, for instance. I highly recommend going to thia place.

Lombardi’s will always be favorite pizza spot to go to! You can’t miss eating pizza here whenever you are from NY or out of state. Amazing pastas and dessert as well. Great Service as well!! There are so many Italian restaurants in NYC but this one, one of the best with warm and welcoming vibes! Must try!
