We dined for my birthday brunch at the SoHo location. From beginning to end, the experience was a delightful experience.
We enjoyed a variety of cocktails including a not-too spicy and delicious Bloody Mary. The espresso martini not only boasted a full flavor, it was also beautifully presented.
The food far exceeded our expectations in both visual presentation and gastronomical expression.
We sampled salad, avocado toast and the seasonal quiche with carmelized pinions, goat cheese and spinach. Crème brûlée branch toast was light, airy and delicious. The flavor and presentation were magnificent.
The tower of pastries outshined the brunch menu! Macarons, cakes, lemon tart , and quiche gave us a lovely sampler of the delectable delights available in the bakery.
Following the meal, we sipped handcrafted cappuccinos, latte’s and different hot teas.
This is a must see when you visit SoHo.
Rafael runs the restaurant with such grace. The staff works together as an efficient team, everyone working hard to ensure the success of everyone.
Rafael guides the staff while also welcoming and attending to every guest. His careful attention ensures that everyone enjoys a wonderful experience.

We came here for my friend’s birthday, and I’ll start by saying this place is undeniably beautiful. The whole tea house vibe, especially the outdoor seating surrounded by greenery, makes you forget you’re even in the city for a moment. It’s definitely one of those spots you go to for the aesthetic and a cute girls’ day.

We had a reservation for three and were seated right on time, so I highly recommend booking ahead because it does get busy. Now, onto the food… the menu is honestly very overpriced for what you get. I understand it’s SoHo, but paying around $25 for a sandwich that’s literally the size of a finger is a bit much.

We ordered the tea for two ($95), which included a small selection: 4 macarons, 4 chocolate biscuits, a mini croissant turkey sandwich, a mini croissant salmon sandwich, two very small avocado toast pieces, and two biscuits with butter and jam. You also get a choice of coffee, tea, or champagne, which is nice but portion-wise, it definitely felt underwhelming.

We added a Caesar salad and truffle fries, and I will say those were actually really good.

Service wasn’t the best. It felt like our server was overwhelmed, so I don’t fully blame her, but it did affect the experience. One thing that stood out (and not in a good way) was that the jam we were served was expired (March 2025). We let them know, and they apologized, replaced it, and brought out a slice of cake, which I appreciated but still, that shouldn’t happen.

Overall, I wouldn’t come back for the food or service, but I would recommend visiting at least once for the vibe. It’s a perfect spot for pictures, catching up with friends, and enjoying a pretty atmosphere but don’t go in expecting to be wowed by the menu.

Maison Ladurée
Ladurée Soho, 398 W Broadway, New York, NY 10012
Afternoon tea outdoors is not easy to find in New York City, but Ladurée Soho offers a classy concierge service in a beautiful garden. Take a look at Ladurée's tea menu service, from finger sandwiches to sweets.

Ladurée celebrates the exclusive elegance of taste through its exceptional macarons and pastries. Great atmosphere, service, cocktails, and of course, their full tea service.

I had an Amazing experience at Lauduree! The chicken club was great, Isaphaan (?) was really good and the service was nice. I did not purchase the tea time but was still sat outside. Zero complaints from me.

Oh how I love love love Ladurée!!! And am surprised I've never written a review for it. I've been here countless times, it's always my default Soho lunch spot when I'm out for a shopping trip or just a nice spring walk through the neighborhood.

The backyard during cherry blossom season IS NOT TO BE MISSED. It is an absolute delight to be there, tucked away from the Soho chaos with petals doing their thing overhead. All the foliage and such is the perfect insulation against city noise. Honestly one of the prettiest little hidden spots in the city when the timing is right.

Every single dish, their afternoon tea service, their soups, their salads, their hard-to-pronounce other French things... is perfectly divine. I genuinely cannot remember ordering something here and being disappointed. The pastries obviously go without saying, but the savory menu deserves so much more credit than it gets.

Once when I was traveling in DC I was having a cranky day, and then I came across a Ladurée outpost there, got a snack, and it completely rejuvenated me. I am loyallll to this brand!! A macaron, finger sandwich, and a good tea and suddenly the day is salvaged.

Unfortunately, the service is JUST OKAY. The servers often seem unhappy to be there or unhappy with me personally? Hard to tell. Pretty slow and inattentive in general. But I will forgive all manner of things for excellent food and great vibes, and Ladurée delivers on both, so I keep coming back.

Ladurée SoHo — such a cute spot, especially for summer.

Outdoor dining is available and very dog-friendly. I didn’t even have to ask before they brought me water 🐾

Came for cake during brunch with my auntie and mama and everything felt light, pretty and perfect for a relaxed stop.

Staff were friendly and welcoming and the whole vibe makes you want to stay a little longer.

Highly recommend.

I have been to Laduree twice on two different locations. What is consistent between both experiences is how beautiful each place was. The locations all have their own elegant personalities, with beautiful color schemes, and comfortable seats that aren’t there just for vanity.
Als, please excuse the quality of the patio picture, I took it on an old camera for the “aesthetic.”

The service was great all around, specifically when I had come here for a brunch date. I ordered a French toast and some iced coffee which all came in a timely manner, was all so delicious and perfectly paired with fruits and syrup. The coffee was okay, but maybe my choice of a basic iced coffee is what made it “okay.” We also sat in their patio during spring which made it all so the better. Very open with fresh air so we didn’t feel overwhelmed by the sun.

On the second time I had gone to Laduree, I opted in to try out their macarons which were not overly sweet, but palate cleansing almost. Very delicate and unique flavors including rose, pistachio, and my favorite which is raspberry.

Very cute cafe if you want a sweet treat, uplifting waiters who greet you with a smile, and a place to take beautiful pictures!

Absolutely charming eatery with French vibes. We visited during the cherry blossom season and secured a seat at the garden patio. The weather was lovely. There were afternoon showers so we had to relocate indoors after the first 20 minutes or so.

While the place, decor and presentation of food is outstanding, I did feel that most items on the menu were overpriced. For that reason alone, I am taking away a star. But, I absolutely loved the vibe and would visit again.

I had a wonderful experience at Laudrée SoHo in New York. Absolutely exquisite. This is truly top-tier French bakery at its finest.

Everything felt refined and beautifully crafted, from the pastries to the overall atmosphere. We had a lovely time at Laduree in soho! The establishment was well kept and oddly not too crazy on a gorgeous spring Friday afternoon and was able to sit in the garden!

We got the coffee cocktails, macaroons & Eugenie’s. It was nice to be able to mix and match. While the service was great, we were a tad bummed to see one of our Eugenie cracked, but it sure was tasty!

Interior is beautiful, I loved classical music playing in the background. But service and dishes are not good enough to set a minimum spending 25$/person and automatically included 20% of taxes. We ordered soup, appetisers and coffee. They served us coffee prior to the soup, so we had to ask to bring it later. I ordered salmon with blinis expecting to get something like crepes with salmon. Instead it was 6 tiny pancakes with salmon for 21$. Capuchino and Isfahan were good though. I would recommend it as a coffee and desert place, if they wouldn’t have a minimum spending policy.

This place has gorgeous interiors! I went during the winter and everything was Christmas themed! I’d recommend going in the summer/ spring if you want to see the cherry blossoms or sit outdoors.
Got the tea-time for two, the price is pretty steep around 50$ per person. The desserts were delicious- loved the Ispahan it was fresh and so tasty! The macaroons were very good, some of the flavors we didn’t like too much. The tarts were kind of disappointing, tasted pretty stale. The sandwiches were okay but the croissant sandwich was amazing!
It also came with tea and a choice of cocktail/ mocktail, both of which were good.
If you want the experience of a tea time and don’t mind spending def go for it. Otherwise I’d recommend ordering À la carte!
Overall 4/5 stars from me!

⸻

Really charming French spot with Parisian-style decor and a stunning backyard, perfect for springtime brunch. Service was generally good, but we were seated indoors under a dripping air conditioner. Even after flagging it to the staff, no one offered to move us, despite plenty of open tables nearby.

I ordered an espresso martini, which was just okay. For food, we tried the chicken with mushroom sauce and pastry, absolutely delicious, though the portion was tiny. The croissants were just average and the Ispahan pastry was pretty to look at.
