We wanted to really like this place but so many things fell flat. The smoothie was good and came out after a few minutes. The food was a different story.<br><br>We ordered Beef and Broccoli and Chicken and Broccoli that we were told was already ready — so we figured it would be quick since we were hungry. Big mistake. We went with rice and peas as the base (the veggie lo-mein listed on the menu was never offered, so we assumed they were out). Then he went down to the basement to make it… and we waited. And waited. 10 minutes, then another 10, then “just a few more minutes” that turned into another 10+. By this point we’d already finished our smoothie and just wanted to go.<br><br>The lady at the front apologized and said she hated that our first time there was taking so long — though that’s all she did. It would’ve been nice if she threw in a free patty or something small. Just saying sorry doesn’t really cut it when you’re waiting almost an hour for food that was supposedly already made, with no explanation as to why it was taking so long. We were just kept being told “a few more minutes.”<br><br>Finally got the food after almost an hour — got home and realized the included side listed on the menu was missing. They never asked us what we wanted or even threw it in.<br>Over $60 with tip and it just wasn’t worth it. Small portion of veggies, rice and peas, no side, and an hour wait. We love supporting small businesses but we also love getting everything we paid for — or at least a small token when things go that wrong.<br><br>We’ll probably come back for a smoothie because it was good. The food though? Not worth it — especially if it’s going to take that long and still not be complete.

If you’re looking for delicious smoothies, great patties, and food look no further. I found this place through my husband who brought me here, I love the smoothies two of my favorite drinks are the Berry booster, and the Cashew peanut punch. They have wonderful soups I like the vegetable soup and my husband love the peas soup. Service is great, environment is clean and the owners are pleasant.

soo I got a couple things......<br><br>the soup?? PHENOMENAL, it was a rainy gloomy day and it hit the spot like nothing else could've. I also got the patties and they were amazing, flaky and flavored it was insane. Finally I had to try one of the smoothies and I'm mot even kidding they have some of the freshest fruits at k&t's, now it's obviously my go to when in the area.

The food is AMAZING! I ordered the Red Snapper w/Veggies and rice and it was the absolute best fish dish that I've ever eaten in NYC ~ Bar none. This now my new FAVORITE PLACE!

I came here with my family the service was impeccable. I didn’t know what I wanted at first, Kim introduced me to the jerk plantain patty and pink passion OMG it was over!!!!! The juice was so fulling I didn’t have to eat food for the night. REAL juice not water down juice. If you in the area trust me you would be satisfied.

I visited this lovely juice store the ambience was so welcoming it was just a vibe. I ordered the twister smoothie the taste omg it was soooo good everything was balanced. My family ordered the passion punch it was delicious. Kim and her husband customer service was top tier definitely coming by again.

I’ve been going to this place for about a week now and I have to leave a review! The hard working couple and the people behind the scenes that are helping in anyway they can are doing an amazing job! It’s so refreshing to see a new and healthy addition to Prospect Lefferts Gardens that you can get fresh made to order juices and smoothies to start or even finish your day. The food they make is fresh and you can tell it’s made with love and care. And that plantain porridge…serious situation. I have at least one a day..it genuinely warms the soul. All in all, amazing and caring staff…amazing food and all at an affordable price. I really hope this place does well and I will continue to support them because they are doing and making amazing things.

This is a new juice bar and restaurant in the neighborhood and I love it. The juices, and smoothies are nutritious and delicious! I also love the way they have decorated the space! They have great fish dishes, bakes and saltfish, great choice of patties, veggie lo mein, veggie burgers, salmon burgers, ackee and saltfish and good friendly service with good prices.

Amazing fresh smoothie and juice spot! My favorite is the Sea Moss smoothie. The staff are very kind and helpful, and they also have amazing patties. I’ve been a few times already since they’ve opened and I’m excited to try more items on their menu!

Their free samples were so good that I had to come inside and get the full drink! Also a very hospitable and welcoming staff

Such a nice quaint place. The staff is very friendly. I tried the peanut punch and sour sop juice, along with a salmon pattie. Everything is full of flavor. Oh and their garden is beautiful. 😍 Welcome to the neighborhood. Wishing you continued success.

I was looking for a natural juice and smoothie shop and came across this exuberant beautiful store with great island vibes music! The smoothies are great prices and they use the freshest fruits and vegetables. They also have vegan protein powder! Definitely my new favorite place. Friendliest place in the neighborhood!!!!
