They have valet, they have a prix taste upscale menu restaurant but we ate at the regular restaurant, didn't realize they had two different experiences for the menu sit down dinner, a more esthetic area and the pizza ordering section with tables in the back, the food is good portion and generous protein dishes. I ordered the rosa pasta and enjoyed it. Mom ordered the white clam sauce pasta, wasnt crazy about the chopped up clams or taste, felt something was missing . Calamari was pricey but really good and fresh
I honestly don’t understand the hype around this place. I’d heard it was some of the best pizza on Long Island, so maybe my expectations were too high, but it felt pretty average overall. The Metro slice was definitely the standout for me, but the plain slice was just okay and didn’t really live up to the buzz.
I’m visiting from NC, and drove an additional HOUR to try this “New York” pizza. I was not disappointed. The service was 5 stars across the board! I was a little a confused on how seating and ordering went but each staff member was helpful and kind. I made a mistake while ordering but the chef was really really kind about it and offered to remake my Sicilian slices. I was so happy and very satisfied with my slices. They were crispy; full of crispy pepperoni and bacon and the PERFECT amount of cheese and sauce. (Not a cheesy sloppy mess that’s hard to eat). I just have no complaints. I just wish I could visit more often. I love you guys. As a black woman i felt very safe and comfortable here. Please keep up the good work! I appreciate the good food & service! This has been a great addition to my trip ! God bless!
The bread on the vodka chicken parm hero might be the best bread I ever had. The sauce, the cheese, the chicken were all incredible as well.
We order from here often for take out and everything is always hot, delicious and fresh. We dined in a couple of times and as expected everything was wonderful… food, service, management….. wonderful! They accommodated us when we were in a bit of a rush which we truly appreciated. They’ve been a staple in our neighborhood for many years and continue to be one of the best establishments in town. Thanks again for helping us out last night while we were rushing around! Much appreciation!
Truly King! Stopped in to try a slice of pizza and ended up staying in the restaurant for a full meal. Everything we ordered was incredible, menu is expensive and had a great selection of current specials. Dining room is huge, easily accommodating lots of large and small parties. The fish was fresh, the chicken crispy, and the salad dressing one of a kind. Everyone loves every dish we ordered. Bread basket and oil.that they start you with was superb. Dessert went so fast I didn't get a picture of the apple cobbler.
I have been to this restaurant twice to celebrate my family's member birthday. I had pasta with seafood and wine enjoyed appetizers. Nice decor and ample seating
King Umberto is not really suited for people who prefer desi flavors or fast food. It’s more of a fine-dining, upscale restaurant with a very classic and elegant vibe.

The place feels more appropriate for formal events like birthdays, weddings, or special occasions, especially if you enjoy traditional European/Italian-style dining. It’s definitely on the fancy side and caters to a specific crowd.

Good option for formal gatherings, but not ideal if you’re looking for casual or quick comfort food.
It's an enchanted christmas place! The food is just as amazing as the decorations.

I give it a 9 out of 10. Reason being because the White Cosmo drink was not as delicious as I would've wanted.
Perfect spot for a late snack. The staff is friendly and awesome, which makes the experience even better.

We tried several different pizzas, and the Sicilian was easily our favorite — crispy undercarriage with airy, light dough. So good.
King Umberto's is by far the best pizza spot around. They've expanded into a full restaurant and bar, but my review is for the classic pizza shop up front.

As soon as you walk through the corner entrance, you’re in the quintessential old school pizza place. The staff is what you would imagine from a NY pizza crew, but incredibly generous. Several times I’ve had them throw in an extra slice which absolutely is above and beyond and makes my day.

The pizza itself is extraordinary. Their grandma slice is one of my favorites, and the metro is one of their specialties. While you can’t go wrong with the classic slices, grab a few non traditional ones and treat yourself to a great experience.

I gladly go out of my way for pizza from this place, so it’s well worth a trip!
If you’re looking for a venue that combines great food with top-tier service and a beautiful setting, I highly recommend King Umberto. They made our holiday celebration a night to remember! The decor was truly breathtaking and the food was so delicious.
I had high expectations for this place but was extremely disappointed. The food was so bland we were trying to add salt hoping it would help but nothing could
save it. We waited over 20 minutes for our meal to come out and for it to be so mid, the chicken was so dry. Never coming again. The only thing that was good was the Calamari and the waiter was nice.
The food and the service was excellent. From the baked clams and the fried calamari to the sides of linguine and olive oil and garlic were excellent. The main course was broiled veal chop on the bone and also the pounded veal with bruschetta. Both were cooked to perfection. For dessert we had the tiramisu and the hottest cup of cappuccino and espresso you could ever ask for. Oh I forgot to mention the focaccia and the olive oil was fresh. All the restaurants give you two pieces of bread and that's it. Not here.
