This is my favorite Indian food spot! The food is excellent every time (dining in AND take out). They are efficient, consistently good, and the staff are all super kind. I'm craving the curry pakora just by writing this review!!

Been coming to this place for a really long time . The food is very good and best Indian in town . However today's lunch visit reminds me of my 2 pet peeves of why I don't go very often.
1) they don't have the lunch buffet any more. They should. There is no lunch menu if u eat in the restaurant , only if you order from the delivery services which I don't do because of the fees . Bottom line is you pay dinner prices for lunch if you dine in which is ridiculous and no buffet . Fix it!
2) some things are Spicy which is great. And tandoori takes awhile when you order it during lunch. So my whole soda is gone before the food even comes and I need more because of the spice and flavor. This is the only place in town I know of that charges for soda refills and it irks me every time .
Easy but much needed fixes. Again the food is great and reasonable for dinner , lunch needs to be fixed. Location is also great right in middle of town on Washington with outdoor seating.
I loved this cute restaurant, I got their samosa chat and it was really good. Would be back again to try something new!
The place was very accommodating and managed to make space for our group of seven to dine in, which we really appreciated.
The food was a banger overall. I’m usually skeptical about ordering chaat at restaurants, but the bhel poori and papdi chaat were surprisingly really good. The veggie tikkis were decent, and the aloo korma was nice.
For the main course, everything was delicious. I highly recommend the paneer kadhai. The vegetable kofta was great as well.
The drinks were also well done. The hard lassi and boozy melon were favorites at our table.
The chilli garlic naan and onion kulcha paired really well with the mains. One thing worth noting is that the entrées are quite generous — they come with dal, rice, and yogurt on the side, which makes it a pretty filling meal.

Overall, it was a really nice visit and I’d happily come back.
Gorgeous and clean restaurant! Clean bathroom! Two of them! Portions were amazing. Complimentary flatbread and dipping sauce for the table was very nice. Food came out quickly and was hot and very flavorful! Even the mild food was quite tasty! Staff were friendly and accommodating with food questions. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The decor around the walls is also very pretty. Water was filled regularly throughout the meal and was ice cold and served with a lemon.
My go-to place! I bring every friend who visits Hoboken here and we always have the best time. Amazing service and great portions for such affordable prices.
Karma Cafe is such a gem of an Indian restaurant. It reminds me of the neighborhood spots I grew up going to in NYC.

My spouse loves the chicken coconut soup, and the mozzarella naan is so good. My personal favorite right now is their new tandoori tofu wrap. The tandoori tofu and veggies are wrapped in naan with chutney, and it has quickly become my go to comfort meal. I find myself craving it often.

It is great for dining in, takeout, or delivery, and the service is always quality. We come here regularly and also bring family members when they visit from out of town. It is often bustling, so calling ahead for pickup is a good idea.
Absolutely wonderful dining experience here. Food was phenomenal. I got the paneer makhani and it was 10/10. My entire party LOVED their food. The butter garlic naan was the best I’ve ever had. Our server was very kind and attentive as well.
Very nice food, great service in the heart of Hoboken. Good ambience and great vibe.
I’ve frequently ordered from this place, but recently got the chance to dine in for dinner and wow, Indian food that truly slaps! As someone from India, I can honestly say their main courses match the exact taste straight from home.

I’ve tried their palak paneer and rice kheer before, and both were amazing. In my recent visit, I had the kadai paneer, which came with flavored ghee rice, a small free portion of dal, and fresh, perfectly cooked kadai paneer. I enjoyed every bite, especially with the aloo paratha and chilli garlic naan the naan and paratha were a banger on its own!

Service was outstanding, welcoming, and attentive.

This has officially become my new go-to Indian spot in North Jersey. Love it!
Amazing food. Large quantities, awesome taste and fast service we tried chicken platter and samosas for appetizers, salmon tandoori and chicken tandoori for entrees and custard apple ice cream for dessert - all were very good.
We have been ordering the Goat Bhuna religiously every other week since we discovered it back in April. When we first started ordering, the price was $20, then in November the price went up to $21 and then today it was increased to $22, we still continued to order because we genuinely love the dish. Most of the time the Goat Bhuna is perfect, though occasionally it does come slightly overcooked — but even then, it’s still one of our favorites.

However, today’s order is the reason I’m writing this review. We ordered the same Goat Bhuna for dinner, and unfortunately, half of the container was filled with just bones, as shown in the picture. For the price and our consistent loyalty, this was disappointing.

Whoever is in charge of management, please address this issue before you begin to lose loyal customers. Maybe the chef dumped all the bones to our order? and we truly hope this was just an isolated incident because we would love to continue supporting this restaurant.
The paneer makhani with garlic naan is my favorite meal of all time! This restaurant is amazing, and I highly recommend to anyone living in or traveling to Hoboken. I have searched high and low for the best paneer dish, and found it right here in Hoboken!
They served us a beer that expired eight months ago!!! I noticed that other customers have also mentioned this issue in their reviews. The staff seems to be aware of it and is intentionally selling expired products, which is absolutely unacceptable!

Aside from the beer issue, my overall experience was fine. The staff was very friendly, calm, and accommodating. They were helpful in assisting us with our food choices and answered all our questions.
The food was average; some items were better than others, while a few were not as flavorful as I had expected. Portions are quite big and probably ordering one plate for two is more reasonable. Tip was included in the check.
The food was great from what we ordered. There could have been more vegetarian appetizers but we had veggie sampler, which was great. We had paneer kadai and dal makhni and I did enjoy the panner more. The dal makhni could have a bit better. The naan was perfect and buttery. Overall, good experience and quality food. The service was pretty good as well, as they made sure we enjoyed our food. The interior of the restaurant was nice as well.
