Every spice you can dream of. Deli with a (very) small seating area next to a floor to ceiling window. We've used our spices to cook and the instant chai to drink and it is all great. Friendly staff, and even the customers are friendly. Everyone seems happy to be here. Can't wait to return.

It is a market selling a vast array of local products sourced from various regions of the world. The selection is incredibly diverse, featuring everything from spices and legumes from the Middle East—alongside Indian herbs—to pastries, sweets, nuts, dried fruits, aromatic beverages, protein powders, and herbal care products. You are bound to be amazed the moment you step inside and start browsing the aisles. While the prices are higher than one might expect, I believe it is definitely a place worth visiting.

This might be my favorite store in the world 😊 Kalustyan’s has everything and somehow always more than I expect. Some basic items are more expensive than elsewhere, so I usually save my shopping here for unique ingredients I can’t find easily. Thanks to this place, I’ve discovered so many ingredients I never even knew existed. The staff was also super helpful when I needed help tracking things down.

Do you need a hard-to-find ingredient? Do you want to get lost in a foodie wonderland for an hour? Step on in to Kalustyan's: it's a candy store for anyone who loves food & cooking. If you can't find an ingredient at Kalustyan's, then either it doesn't exist, or it's not really important to your recipe. I've been shopping here for more than 2 decades, & am still giddy every time I'm in its aromatic glory. I mean, lookit the variety! The staff is all wonderfully helpful & kind, the baked goods are bar none. I just miss the hot food bar upstairs, where the food was great & the sense of community even greater. Oh, did I mention you can shop online? In-store's the best, but at least you have the option...

When you as a grown kid find candy land; have too many options to buy and try. For a foodie this is pure heaven. I went here with coworkers during lunch. We purchased candy for us to try, food to take home, spices to cook and tea options. We ran out of time so we plan to come back. The pistachio baklava was delicious. We loved it!

Kalustyan’s has been a wonderland of spices, herbs, teas, and more in Manhattan for ages. I’ve had the pleasure of shopping here on many occasions. I love being able to select more varieties of curry than anywhere else in the city. I already have hot Jamaican curry, this time I chose Trinidadian curry. There are varieties from a vast number of countries, each with their own unique flavor profile. In addition, I was able to find Chinese herbs of Anjelica Sinensis or Dong Quai (women’s ginseng), a pepper popular in Nepal, a variety of American bbq spices, dried and chilis, and so much more!<br><br>I noticed they carry rose water, orange blossom water, lavender, many natural hair care products, different coffee types ranging from those commonly found and used in America to more international varieties and favorites like Turkish coffee and the copper coffee pot. There are many baking products like differing levels of dutch cocoa powder, sugar - demerara, coconut sugar, many more kinds. A large array of flour types, sprinkles and dragees, including the De Ruijter variety beloved in The Netherlands for fairy bread.<br><br>You’ll find spices, herbs, ingredients, and sauces from all parts of the world. They also have some baklava and desserts near the register, even Dubai chocolate. In the back, there are many refrigerators and freezers with a variety of foods like Naan, Ras Malai, yogurts, meals, tapenades, olives, kefir, and so much more. Be sure to stop in if you’re in the neighborhood or visiting from abroad. This is a wonderful gem of a shop with many great options!

There are a lot of spices. A lot! Yet when I asked about a spice I had never heard of and is not available at Whole Foods but a necessary ingredient for Zanzibar dish, the manager knew precisely where it would be. Impressive ✊🏽<br>Besides the innumerable amount of dry spices, the shop also carries delicious hummus, labne, yogurt, ice cream and sweets.<br>Its a paradise and a nostalgic one if you have spent time in the East 💜<br>Great experience!

This place is very old and has amazing collection of species, cheeses, nuts and Indian grocery.<br><br>You can find all types of Asian and Mexicans species. Really great to see the stuff and quality is very high.<br><br>You can also buy Turkish sweets and Murabba at this place. Must visit if you are looking for good Indian stuff.

Anything you need for any recipe, you can find here. They pack it all ,you could spend hours here. Need pomegranate molasses? They have 7 different brands. Need loose tea? They have HUNDREDS. They have verities on anything you need. Whole Cardamon? Whole Dried limes? You can find more then three types of each in different forms.<br>Bitters or syrups for cocktails? They have a whole section. Expect to pay more then on Amazon BUT this place is amazing. I always walk out with something new to try.<br>They also have a prepared food section which has good flavors.<br>It’s a must go for anyone who likes food/cooking
