Nick was amazing to work with! We decided pretty last-minute to have a baby shower (guests had a couple of weeks notice) and he was very thorough and helpful in giving us menu options and nailing down final logistics quickly.<br><br>Due to our event space constraints, we went with a drop-off menu which was so well-executed and delicious. Nick and his 2 chefs arrived in the morning and got everything set-up beautifully before the first guests arrived, and then Nick returned and got everything broken down in <20 minutes. All the guests complimented catering, and the menu had something for everyone which can be hard to pull-off with various dietary restrictions! One last thoughtful touch is Nick brought take-home containers at the end of our event so a few of our guests who were observing Ramadan got to partake in the food after they could break their fast 🌙<br><br>I know who I’ll be reaching out to for future events!

Nick and his team were absolutely fantastic and made the night everything we could’ve dreamed of. They catered my birthday party at our apartment in December with about 40 people attending. Everything detail was perfect – the food and drinks were amazing, the team was very fun and so professional, and they made everything so easy and enjoyable. We hadn’t hosted a catered event like this in our home before, and Nick came to our apartment a couple months before the party to get map things out. On the day, Brando guided us through everything to think about – where food would be set up, where gifts would be placed, down to even asking where cleaning supplies were kept so if someone spilled a drink on the rug during the party, they could clean it quickly/seamlessly. From the start to the end of the event, it felt like everything was taken care of so we could enjoy the party and not worry about hosting responsibilities. The whole team also brought great energy and created a really fun, upbeat atmosphere throughout the night. We ended up extending the team 2 hours after our scheduled event end time because everyone was having such a great time. My friends and family are still talking about how great the team was and how amazing the food/cocktails were even over 2 months later now.<br><br>When selecting the food menu, I wanted to keep most things gluten free (I have a gluten intolerance). Nick offered to make most any of the options gluten free, so I could pick all of my favorites (for example we had lobster rolls on gluten free brioche buns). The food was excellent – each and every item was so delicious, and the red meat dishes were particularly amazing. The courses were timed perfectly throughout the night as well (we had opted to do passed hors d’oeuvres then buffet style dinner). The cocktails were also exceptional. We got the recommended alcohol purchases from Nick to offer a mostly full bar, and we selected some signature cocktails to have ahead of time. Our bartender Alec made any martini, negroni, mixed drink, etc. and our signature drinks so incredibly well. Throughout the night, everyone kept telling me how much they enjoyed the drinks, how high quality they felt, and how much fun Alec was.<br><br>I couldn’t have imagined a better company to work with – from Nick’s great communication and planning, to the excellent food and drinks, to the perfect coordination by the team throughout the night – everything was fantastic. I would highly highly recommend them!

We had a great experience working with this catering team & would absolutely recommend them. They were professional, responsive, & extremely flexible, especially impressive given the venue had very limited kitchen capabilities.<br>Planning the event from out of town & being new to this type of setup, their guidance before & during the event made a huge difference. Their experience really showed, & they went above & beyond to make the process as smooth & stress-free as possible.<br>The food was delicious & beautifully presented, & the drinks were excellent. The bartenders were knowledgeable, friendly, & added great energy to the event while staying professional. It was clear they could easily adapt to different event styles & audiences.<br>Overall, a fantastic team to work with from start to finish.

We recently worked with Nick and his team for a VIP business lunch hosted at a private residence, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. The food was excellent and received glowing feedback from every guest. Both the host and I were extremely impressed with the quality, presentation, and service.<br><br>As an event manager, I can confidently say this is a dream team vendor. They were incredibly organized, attentive, and communicative throughout the entire process, which made the event completely stress free. I never once felt concerned about the outcome, and everything ran seamlessly. I would absolutely work with them again and highly recommend them for any level event.

They are solution providers and SUPERB hosting, catering, and service company. I recommend Just a Nibble NYC for ALL your hosting event needs. The team is kind, thoughtful, and a pleasure to work with. The food is AMAZING! I cannot say enough good things about this company and the many memorable experiences they have helped us to create.

We hosted a fantastic seasonal cocktail party with the help of Nick and his wonderful team. The planning was seamless as was the set up the night of the event. The hors d'oeuvre display was as beautiful as it was delicious. The bartender and server were both very friendly and professional and attentive. I would hire Nick for my next event without hesitation!

Just a Nibble recently catered our in-home baby shower (~50 guests) and both the food and the service were out right phenomenal. Nick and his team were prompt, personable, and professional. They helped to craft a perfect menu and design a flow through our apartment that kept guests happy, well fed, and with full glasses - they even navigated last minute changes with rainy weather. The presentation of the food and the mimosa bar were beautiful and the staff seamlessly incorporated passed canapes to ensure the delicious food reached all corners of the party. We had about nine different dishes and each was fantastic... guests could be heard debating their favorites as they grabbed another round.<br><br>I'd recommend Just a Nibble in a heartbeat for any kind of event in any venue. I'm already brainstorming an excuse for my next catered party. I'd give them more than 5 stars if I could.

Nibble is extraordinary.<br>I have gone to many catered events and used in NYC. I have been frustrated in the last couple years, with some of the companies I used in the past; up charging for rentals, alcohol etc. And most importantly, the quality of the food being served.<br><br>Nick/Nibbles from the beginning of the conversation had none of that. The conversation was supportive and what do you want to achieve.<br><br>Most importantly - have never gotten more compliments on the food. And how they comport. "Who are these people - how did you find them?"<br><br>They helped with a last minute set up ans had great ideas.<br><br>This is an amazing catering company.

Just a Nibble was absolutely fantastic to work with. I looked into a bunch of different catering companies for my wedding, and Nick was the only one who really guided me through the process. It was such a relief. And then there was the food! Totally exquisite. My friends and family are still talking about it. Nick’s staff were so friendly and helpful. They took care of everything and really allowed me to just enjoy the day. Can’t wait to work with them for our next event.

We could write endlessly about the delicious paella, tuna tartar or braised pork belly, but what made the evening a delight was Nick. He was always available and accommodating and suggested ideas that made this special birthday party memorable. It's rare to get a proprietor to actually work with you and to execute exactly what he promised. We felt utterly "catered" to, and I believe that that's what best defines Just a Nibble. We can't recommend them enough.

We used Just a Nibble NYC as our caterer for our wedding a few weeks ago and let me tell you, I cannot recommend them enough for anyone looking for an absolutely wonderful customer experience and stunning meal. Working with Nick and his team was so easy even though we live in Canada and were planning our wedding from a distance.<br><br>Not only was Nick extremely quick to respond, he helped us choose an absolutely delicious meal while respecting our budget and making very good recommendations at every step of the planning process. He even coordinated with our venue on our behalf when we told him we were in Canada and could not be present for a walkthrough of the venue prior to the event.<br><br>My mother has a long list of allergies and intolerances and once I provided Nick with the list, his team not only made sure my mom could eat, they adapted the entire menu so that she could eat almost every single item on the menu without fearing for cross contamination. They were super transparent with the ingredient lists as well. The staff was incredibly friendly and they were super helpful with helping setup and clean up the space for dinner time.<br><br>The food was sublime and most of our guests went for seconds. Some of our guests are even still talking about how delicious the food was weeks after the event. If you want a stress-free catering experience in NYC, Nick and his team have your back and will give you a memorable meal for your event!

There are not enough stars to do justice to this truly exceptional catering company. They are the best wedding decision we actually made. I will discuss here the four facets of Just a Nibble that make them a cut above the rest: Food, Presentation, Professionalism, and Awesomeness of owner Nick Miller (yes you read that correctly). The first is Food, obviously. The cuisine at JAN speaks for itself and is delicious, creative, and made delicately and diligently from the finest ingredients by talented Chef Mark. Their menu boasts of a range of elegant choices, intertwining comfort foods with fancy cuisine, of many styles--exactly what you want from a wedding caterer, in my opinion. For appetizers we had coconut shrimp, glazed chicken skewers, Thai spring rolls, truffle fries, and asparagus and gruyure tarts. All of these were delectable and covered the range of flavor profiles we wanted. The guests were raving over these and couldn't get enough. The plated salad was just the amount of freshness to balance what came after. For entrees we had braised short ribs, farmhouse chicken, and vegan lasagna. Both meats were cooked to perfection, and prepared with succulent flavor and texture, completely holding up in taste and texture to being served to 120 people (an important factor to consider). We were so impressed by the vegan lasagna. The vegetable sides were superb, flavorful, and fresh. My personal favorite was the potatoes au gratin. The creaminess and herb note in them was unforgettable. Chef Mark is genius! Presentation---what first actually led us to JAN was the reputation of their creativity in display that is customizable to the event. Our venue (Dumbo Loft) in late Autumn had a rustic feel, so JAN used the parlor book and antique oak serving dishes, and awesome little trinkets for holding hors d'oeuvres. Everything LOOKED amazing in addition to being delicious! Thirdly, professionalism. The team at Just a Nibble is highly courteous, professional, helpful, and trustworthy. On the day of the wedding, their servers (many whom we got to meet beforehand) were all-hands-on-deck and top notch. They are hardworking and have great personalities. Clearly they have been hand-picked over the years and are treated with respect and friendship at the company, and this makes a HUGE difference in performance and attitude. Bartender Jonah was awesome and customized our drinks and let us name them! The guests loved the creativity of our bar set-up. Captain Alex took care of us (bride and groom) at the wedding and made sure all of our needs were met and exceeded. He was wonderful and caring. Our tasting was its own little exquisite event where Mark and Nick took our feedback and helped us narrow things down to the perfect menu at the end. Their staff were such team-players. Lastly, the owner and point of contact Nicholas Miller (Nick) is responsible for our wedding defying our expectations of greatness. He's a professional caterer with a company that delivers all of the above, but I'd like to add in that he became something of a supportive friend to me and my husband during the planning of this wedding with all of its ups and downs. Nick was there for us when we were thrown some curve-balls in the weeks leading up to the event. He advised us with his expertise and put our minds at ease. He is kind, genuine, easy to work with, and knowledgeable. His input and guidance melded with our vision to make this wedding more than what we ever dreamed of.
