My brother picked here fory dads birthday as my entire family loves roast duck and it was a Great experience. The whole Duck craving presentation was nice and their happy birthday song and props were great. Food was really good. The lamb and shrimp were delicious.

Response from the owner

Thanks so much, Sam! Sounds like your dad had an awesome birthday with that roast duck. We love when the whole family can dig in together, and we're glad the lamb and shrimp hit the spot too. That's what we're here for. Follow us @juqi_ny on Instagram!

Second time having dinner with friend here. Overall was great. The staff were friendly and the vibe was good. My favorites were their signature Peking Duck and royal style barbecue lamb.

The Peking duck is very authentic and cooked to perfection. The signature fried rice has this chewy texture and flavor is quite good. Last and not the least, the lichee shrimp hanging on a golden tree is the best presentation of all. The shrimp balls are fresh and oily at all. This is my first visit and I definitely will come back for the food quality and unique experience. Overall a great place to eat in flushing.

Finally checked out Juqi and it absolutely lived up to the hype! Walking in and seeing the rows of roast ducks was such a cool experience 🦆

The half Peking duck was more than enough, and the free duck bone soup with tofu and napa cabbage was so comforting. Also highly recommend the braised pork with bamboo shoots, smoked pork hock, Kung Pao chicken, and the Beijing yogurt—so creamy and delicious.

Great food, generous portions, and definitely worth coming back!

Came here on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. Waited a few minutes before being seated. Service here was absent as no one came to check us at all, had to wave down someone several times.

Ordered peking duck, which was ok, good presentation but taste was not exceptional. Duck bone soup came at the very end after we were done eating. Stir fried beef with crispy mushroom was super dry. Bittern flapjack(卤煮) was just ok. Food had good presentation, but taste not up to standard. There are better options in Flushing.

Response from the owner

Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback with us. We truly appreciate your recognition of our food presentation, and we sincerely apologize that the overall service, timing, and flavors did not meet your expectations. We are especially sorry about the lack of attentive service, the delayed duck bone soup, and the dryness of the stir-fried beef dish. Your comments are extremely valuable, and we will share them with both our service and kitchen teams to improve staff attentiveness, food timing, and dish quality. Our goal is to provide not only beautiful presentation but also an excellent dining experience in every aspect. Thank you again for your honest feedback, and we hope to have the opportunity to serve you better in the future.

This Beijing-style restaurant was a great surprise. The Peking duck had perfectly crispy skin and tender meat, with authentic sauces and sides. The Juqi tofu was also a standout—rich and full of flavor. The place is clean, comfortable, and the service was excellent. I’ll definitely be coming back!

The food here was delicious. The Beijing roasted dog tasted exactly like what we ate back in China. Great choice if you want some Chinese traditional. The workers are very nice. They tried their very best to help you. The environment here is also very nice. I would really recommend if you want to try it out.

Spot’s fire, lowkey feel like you back in China or something. Food hits, but yeah…mostly spicy. They known for the duck, it’s mad good but kinda fatty. Definitely worth pulling up, just make sure you book a table first.

Response from the owner

Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad you enjoyed the atmosphere and that it brought back a bit of the China experience. We also appreciate your comments on the spice level and the richness of the duck—we’ll definitely take that into consideration. Looking forward to welcoming you again, and yes, reservations are always a good idea!

Came for a birthday dinner and most of the items we ordered were delicious. The tablet to order is massive and for some reason you can’t see the items added in your cart in English. Service was just okay, had to flag down the waiter multiple times for ice water and more tea. Peking duck could’ve been crispier and the second dish, the soup, came out warm. Would highly recommend the tendon, pork belly sour soup, lamb chops, and fried rice.

Response from the owner

We’re glad to hear that you enjoyed most of the dishes, especially the tendon, pork belly sour soup, lamb chops, and fried rice.
We also truly appreciate your suggestions. We will share your feedback about the ordering tablet and the English cart display with our system team to help improve the experience. We’re also sorry that the service was not as attentive as it should have been and that the soup temperature and the crispiness of the Peking duck did not meet expectations. We will definitely review these points with our team to improve.
We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back and provide you with an even better dining experience next time. 🎉

The Juqi Flushing offers great food and cozy atmosphere. The roasted duck is great, especially for a large party. Not only duck meat is served with a wrap, the duck bones can be served in soup or fried rice. All the other dishes are highly recommended, approved by traditional Peking citizen.

The dining experience here was absolutely exceptional. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of rich, authentic flavor. As someone who grew up in Beijing, I’m usually very picky about Beijing-style food, but this place really delivered. The mustard duck feet were excellent — tender, flavorful, with a well-balanced wasabi kick. The lu zhu was also very authentic, with a rich broth and clean ingredients. The ambiance is casual and comfortable, very much like a traditional Beijing-style restaurant, which adds to the overall experience. Service was friendly and attentive, and food came out promptly. Overall, the flavors felt genuinely Beijing-style and very satisfying.

I’ve been to Juqi twice and the food is honestly pretty mediocre. Nothing especially memorable, and definitely not worth the high prices. What really surprised me was how fast everything came out. Our dishes arrived about 5 minutes after we ordered, which makes it feel like most of the food is prepared ahead of time and reheated. I don’t mind premade food if the pricing matches and they are upfront about it, but it feels off when they charge so much and advertise everything as freshly made to order. It just doesn’t match the experience. There are definitely better options in Flushing at this price point.

When in NYC you must come to Tangram Mall ‘s Juqi Restaurant- their Peking Duck is one of the best in the city- skin so crispy meat so tender! Other dishes like the fried fillet of fish in a sweet and sour sauce was also delish! Love the lion’s head meatball in the Beijing style mug was nostalgic! The stir fried cauliflower with pork belly had the breath of the wok ( wok hei) tasty ! Will be coming back again with more family - atmosphere bring back the family eating at dinner table feeling with nostalgic Beijing fifties music in the background!
