Jhoanes Bakery & Coffee

We visited the bakery after seeing it on TikTok. The presentation was beautiful, and the staff were friendly. We ordered a few fruit pastries, croissants, and their tres leches. The tres leches was delicious. Everything we ordered was not overly sweet; it was balanced, and all was delicious. A little pricier, but you kind of pay for the craftsmanship and the amazing work. We enjoyed everything and would come again!

The atmosphere is amazing saw many families who came took photos and took desserts for take away. I ordered the mushroom and avocado toast on cheese. I feel in love with the combination, it was made to perfection! I ordered the matcha mango drink and loved it as well! For desserts ordered the tiramisu cup , brownie with strawberry and mango. The mango was ultimate with the Tres leches filing and the biscuit under the dessert was complimenting so well. The tiramisu cup is heaven for milk chocolate lovers and the tiramisu was fresh and airy slight notes of coffee. However the brownie and strawberry was ok, I would surely come back for the other desserts. The service is incredible, lots of people working and making sure things go smoothly! Over all, it’s a great place to visit for the experience and for speciality desserts and savory items!

This place is beautiful, the croissants were my favorite part by far. The pistachio and raspberry. My best flavors. The arepa were delicious. A good spot more for dessert.

What an amazing and beautiful place.<br><br>Me and my fiancée were wanting dessert and decided to drive 20 minutes to this place and we are so glad we found it.<br><br>The staff if amazing. It looks amazing and we had the most romantic date. We ended up sitting against the wall and found these jars full of BIBLE VERSES. Can you imagine that???<br><br>It was beautiful. The food and drinks were so good my fiancée can’t stop talking about it.<br><br>It’s gorgeous inside and we had such a great time I mean honestly it was the best date by far.<br><br>Thanks so much for making our day so special. Every other group of folks sat and enjoyed it as well.

I found a GEM of a bakery and I’m still not over it! ✨<br><br>I kept seeing them go viral everywhere — Facebook, Instagram, TikTok — literally thousands of videos all over my feed. After watching so many reviews, I finally decided to make the 2-hour drive… and let me tell you, it was 100% worth it!<br><br>It was super crowded (as expected because of all the hype), but the experience was amazing. I’m actually writing this review after my second visit — and it was just as good as the first time!<br><br>The moment I tried their famous fruit-shaped desserts and some of their croissants, I completely fell in love. 🥐🍓 The desserts are not overly sweet at all, which makes them perfect for someone like me who isn’t really a sweet tooth. The flavors are so balanced, fresh, and satisfying.<br><br>And I have to mention — their staff are incredibly polite and helpful. Even with the crowd, they were patient and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better.<br><br>Totally worth the drive, the wait, and the hype. I’ll definitely be going back again!

I visited Jhoannes Bakery and decided to try absolutely everything — one of each of their viral fruits, mini tarts, cakes, desserts, and croissants.<br>The croissants were good. My favorites were the lemon pie croissant and the Nutella NY roll.<br>Unfortunately, the viral fruit desserts were very disappointing. The flavor and texture were both poorly executed. The “mousse” fillings was gelatin, not mousse — rubbery, artificial, and unpleasant. The texture completely ruined the experience, and the overall execution was very poor.<br>It was honestly a big disappointment considering the presentation and hype around these items.

I have been here many times and tried pretty much every flavor of their beautiful desserts (fruit shaped pastries). The workers are always so kind and I am ADDICTED to the raspberry and lemon flavor desserts. Honorable mention to the pear flavor too!

This place is amazing ! The pastries are gorgeous and so is the restaurant itself! Super cute and girly ! The breakfast was delicious and a very good portion. The desserts were also delicious, my favorite was the lemon and mango passion fruit! Our server was Sara , she was super sweet and accommodated everything we asked for ! I definitely look forward to coming back and recommend it to others as well 💕

What can I possibly say about this little place that left such an impression on me except that they need a bigger location truly truly truly wonderfully delicious food, and the desserts are truly to die for. Our waitress was super sweet even though she was extremely busy.<br>The restaurant although beautifully decorated is a little on the cramped side. I am not sure what coffee they use however their coffee was amazing..<br>All in all we all had a wonderful experience..<br>Make reservations, we were so happy that we did we were seated within 3 minutes while everyone else who came waited pretty long because there was so many people there..<br>The owner came out in shook her hands and we got to congratulate him and tell him how awesome everything was which was very nice.<br>We traveled from Brooklyn and Jhoanes Bakery did not disappoint.. So Happy we made the trip.<br>Definitely going back..<br><br>Lasting is we took some croissants and other pastries home the banana filled croissant was to die for. And the chocolate cream croissant was so delicious as well ❤️

I came from DC to try this café and it was absolutely worth it. The atmosphere is beautiful and welcoming. The desserts are perfectly balanced — not overly sweet. The stuffed croissants are a must-try, and the latte was one of the best I’ve had.<br><br>I visit a new café at least once (sometimes twice) a week and have been doing so for the past four years — this is easily one of the best so far.

Awesome experience. Don’t know where to start. We wait for an hour to get a table but it’s ok (was worth for the wait) everyone so welcoming friendly here. Love how they organized have 2 lines one for to go order another line for dine in.<br>The food grilled chicken in tomato sauce with roasted potatoes excellent! Wish a bit bigger slice of the chicken but food more than enough ,the sweet &savory waffle was delicious my bacon needs to be more crispy but overall it was really good. Avocado panini more as a “club sandwich style” but can’t complain everybody was happy with their food.<br><br>Dessert OMG! We love sweets and eat so many places,but Jhoanes bakery very outstanding!<br>My absolute favorite the mango coconut in chocolate shell! Pistachios and the passion fruit with nutella also was not just beautiful quality and very well made.<br>People working so hard to make sure you have a good time.Definitely coming back!<br>Next family bday cake order will be here! I went to NYC with others and decided to check out Jhoane’s Bakery after seeing it recommended on TikTok! We came here 4 days ago, although it took us about 3 hours to get, figuring out the subway, we were excited to finally arrive.<br><br>When we got there, we were tired, but as soon as I walked in, I was amazed. The bakery is absolutely beautiful, and every dessert and pastry looked delicious. Though the place was packed, we were lucky enough to get a table. The customer service is beyond 10/10. I didn’t realize it at first, but I also spoke with the owner, he is so kind and attentive. He truly makes sure everyone feels comfortable and has the best experience possible.<br><br>For the time it took to get there, I would definitely come back, even if it took another three hours, it was all worth it. The food was beautifully decorated, the flavors were an explosion in my mouth. I’m still thinking about this amazing place. They’re also bilingual in Spanish, which I loved. I wish I found this place sooner. The brunch is amazing. Not only does it look delicious it also tastes delightful. I got the yuca Benedict Latin. The yuca cakes were crispy on the outside and soft inside. The egg poached perfectly. Smoothie creamy hollandaise sauce. Great twist on the classic with the chicken tinga. The espresso is excellent and the juices are delicious. Things sell out fast so come early and expect a line. You can also watch them make the beautiful dessert through a window in the back of the restaurant.

We went for dessert and coffee after dinner and had a great time at Jhoanes bakery. This place was highly recommended by the local who comes here all the time.<br>Passion fruit mousse with mango was very pretty and delicious! Our favorite was the fruit tart. Fresh cream with berries melt in your mouth.<br>All the iced coffee and latte were good.<br>Cafe was cozy and welcoming.<br>Can’t wait to go back to try their food next time.

This place is amazing. The desserts look beautiful and taste delicious. The chef specials are also delicious. The Jhoanes burger is honestly one of the best burgers I had in my life. The drinks are also delicious. The restaurant has a nice ambience and vibe, the staff is friendly. The waitress checked up on me when I was waiting for my food, always asked me how was everything. 10/10 would recommend and I will be back again.
