Jajaja is always consistent. The food tasted very good, the nachos (w/ guac added) were elite + the chimichanga was tasty too. Service was nice and efficient.

Wow, the food was very good and super authentic Mexican. Staff was very welcoming. The service was very very slow though. I think I waited for 25 mins for my order (Salad ans Taco). Good portion size.
Happy Hour is fair and filling. The guacamole is tasty and has a nice texture. Tacos are good and ingredients all taste fresh and are seasoned/layered nicely. The only disappointment is that there are no non-alcoholic drink options on the happy hour menu.
I LOVE this place ! Got there at 10h30pm, the staff was super nice and let us have 2 drinks even tho they close at 11. Such a nice ambiance !! Drinks were FIRE ! The matcha y coco drink is one of the best things I’ve ever put in my mouth !! Love the iced coffee too ! And you can also make a donation to Woodstock Sanctuary 🥹 ! Just good vibes and good times 🖤
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed an evening meal here last November on vacation. Big flavors, gorgeous presentation, jazzy atmosphere.
Had an amazing dinner experience here. Our server was lovely and even gave us tasters of the different fillings so we could make our choices. She also brought out a candle and dessert for my birthday and a signed handmade card from all the staff - how sweet is that!

The food itself is outstanding. The tuna tostadas were delightful explosions of flavour. The nachos were a big portion and the chorizo and toppings were delicious. The sweet potato tacos were also extremely tasty! The sauce that came with the tacos was unbelievably scrumptious.

Only thing I wouldn’t recommend is the prickly pear soft drink - was quite savoury and maybe more of an acquired taste.
I had my birthday dinner here last night and it was beyond fabulous. The server was incredible, helpful and kind. The food was absolutely delicious. I am not vegan and was so impressed with the dishes. At the end of the meal they gave me a hand illustrated birthday card signed by all the staff. Such a special experience, I cannot suggest this restaurant enough! Thanks Jajaja!!
We came here as a group of three and tried the following.
Soup -- Spicy in a nice way. Tasted of green peas with little potato cubes in it. There was a crunchy something on top which wasn't appealing.

Horchata -- Cold and sweet with an earthen flavour. It was chalky a bit too much, it stays in the mouth not in a good way. And there were too many ice cubes.
A friend complained of too much cinnamon, but that aspect was fine for me.

Buffalo flower taco -- It tastes very close to Gobi 65 that you would find in a typical restaurant in Chennai.
It was delicious. And the accompanying salsa was refreshing!

We had a couple of other tacos and some other dish. By the time we had our fourth taco, everything started tasting pretty similar at this point.

I just tried tasting the different sauces (a touch of the sauce on the finger, and the finger on the tongue) that are just kept on the table. They felt too intense and nothing really stood out.
Truly enjoyed the food, we had the nachos, Norris tacos, the chimichanga and cauliflower tacos. Everything was really good!
@jajajamexicana is a pretty good place for some vegan Mexican food! I like how they had a lot of vegan items on their menu. The food was pretty good and the portion size was also pretty good. I got the enchilada mole, and it had a very unique and different taste to it, than other Mexican food places. I really liked the sauce on this mole. The food came out pretty quickly and the prices here were decent. However, I think the ambience would have been better at the West Village restaurant, I ate at the restaurant inside Whole Foods. It was more like a food kiosk. Still, the service was really good and the server was friendly and not rude. I would definitely suggest this place for vegans that want to try some good Mexican food.

Price: $17.42💸
Rating: 8/10📝
I came for dinner on a Saturday night, and the service was fantastic. My waitress was so friendly and helpful! I got the horchata to drink and the birria tacos and tostaditas de maíz to eat. The horchata was delicious and thick with spices. The tostaditas de maiz were a nice contrast of freshness from the lettuce and sour cream with the corn flour base. My one critique is that I couldn’t quite figure out how they were meant to be eaten — with the toppings, it was hard to cut them into pieces to eat with a fork and knife, but they were also too big to really be finger food. The birria tacos were also excellent! The melty cheese and chunk steak was delicious on its own, and dipping them into the consommé brought them to the next level!

Second time here and had a great time both visits. First time I came, we ordered the Grande Nachos to share - ours came deconstructed, as someone in our party had a corn allergy. Our server was extremely attentive to inform her of what parts of our dishes dish contained corn, so that it wouldn't be consumed. I had the Chorizo Burrito, which had a slight kick to it from the hot red sauce on top, but otherwise, the dish was very good! My friends got the Huevo y Chorizo and Birria tacos, which both dishes were given great reviews!

On my second visit, we got the Hearts of Palm Ceviche, which was plentiful! Highly recommend. The Huevo Burrito was great as well.
This West Village branch of the vegan Mexican chain has solid vegan food and good drinks. I am not a plant based eater usually so I like Mexican food with real cheese but this really was pretty good and I enjoyed the meal more than what I have had at some other vegan restaurants. The cucumber soup was a highlight. Enchiladas were pretty good. I would happily return.
Some of the best vegan Mexican food ever. Really busy spot midweek and the service was slow but the food was worth the wait. The ‘our birria tacos’ (vegan steak) was a standout with the ‘gravy’ dip (to die for!!) big margarita menu. Highly recommend to all vegans
One of the best vegan/plant based restaurants I’ve ever been to. The food is just DELICIOUS! Flavorful, rich, vibrant, fresh.. and TASTY. The only thing better than the food is the interior decoration! Super cool vibes that makes this location feel like a portal into the heart of Mexico City, 30 years ago

Mario and Rafael were stand out representatives of this establishment

If you like coconut and mezcal, the coconut cilantro cocktail is a must. So refreshing that before you can put it down, you’re finding yourself gulping down another sip. And another.. and another.. dangerous!

Highlights of the food included the fish tacos (better than you think!) and birria tacos (wow!). The super nachos were ok

Excited to be back.. many times!
