INNSiDE by Meliá NoMad: the New York stay that just gets it right<br><br>Some hotels feel full. This one never did, even with a packed house. That alone says a lot.<br><br>The highlights:<br><br>🛏️ Beds are great, and the blackout curtains actually work<br>🔇 Surprisingly quiet, no street noise, no neighbors, nothing<br>📍 Location is hard to beat<br>🚲 Free bikes to borrow, a rare and welcome perk in this city<br>🎡 Spin the wheel at check-in for a chance to waive your facility fee. I got a full day waived and it set the tone perfectly<br>🧹 No carpet anywhere, so the rooms feel fresh and clean, not stuffy<br>🧴 Amenities cover everything you'd need: umbrella, iron, hairdryer, garment steamer, robes, slippers, plus a stocked minibar<br>🍳 Book bed and breakfast and you'll have your mornings sorted at The Wilson, a beautifully green and atmospheric restaurant right in the hotel<br><br>The rooms are spacious for New York standards, which is saying something.<br><br>The staff is the kind where you want to name names, but honestly you'd have to name everyone.<br><br>One small tip for the hotel: swap some of those minibar sodas for lower-sugar options and you're basically perfect.<br><br>Stayed as a Gold member and felt truly welcomed, not just acknowledged. There's a difference, and this team knows it. A bottle of red wine and a slate board of handpicked bonbons with my name written on it, plus a handwritten note, was waiting in the room. That's not a check-in, that's an arrival.

People at the front desk are very kind and efficient. Staff is very friendly.<br>However, this hotel is not worth the price. There are other hotels in the same area that offer much better value for the money. I strongly recommend reviewing the room rates before check-in, as they appear to change frequently, which may result in what feels like unfair treatment.

Great hotel perfectly positioned in midtown manhattan. Rooms are spacious for NYC, service is attentive and overall vibe is pleasant! One block away from the subway which is a great convenience. The replenish-able water and juice drinks in the room are a nice touch. Would certainly use as a base again.

I loved my stay at this hotel. A nice sized room for the city and well laid out. At the intersection of beautiful design and comfortable stay. Front desk staff are very helpful! You can leave your luggage with the hotel after checkout which was great to explore the city. Only complaint was that the towels and robes were rough.

The location was amazing for 1st time NYC visitors. Easy subway access, CVS, delis, and dispensary in short walking distance. The rooms were very clean with complimentary beverages stocked daily. We (2 adults and 2 late teens) stayed in the family loft and it provided enough room and privacy for all. Highly recommend!

We stayed in this hotel during Thanksgiving week and had a good experience. There was sparkling water bottles we liked that came with the room and restocked every day. What was the name of the water so we can buy some at home? Thanks.

Highly recommend! The front desk staff were extremely nice, and offered complimentary champagne! The rooms were a bit larger than other hotels I have stayed in the Chelsea area. The fridge had a variety of complimentary water, soda, etc. The lobby had a wonderful scent, but not overpowering. I would absolutely stay here again!

My family and I had a pleasant time here. It was so accommodating and held very high standards on guest services. Will definitely visit and stay here again. Shout out to Felipe and Carla from The Wilson restaurant for wonderful service and giving me the tour of the restaurant. And Tiffany from front desk is sweet and inviting. Truly loved it here

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was excellent — from the friendly and professional staff to the comfortable rooms, perfect location, cleanliness, and high-quality facilities. Arrived very late after a tough travel day to find out I need to pay a 50 dollar facility fee. When I contested this, I was told that it is<br>Mentioned when booking and on the booking confirmation. That isn’t true.<br><br>This is a complete scam. And what do you get? A few bottles of water and soda?<br><br>I am shocked that you are happy to trick and rob your customers like this. I’ve also seen other reviews for false charges for smoking. You should be ashamed.

Unacceptable practice.<br><br>We were charged $400 for “smoking” after checkout, despite the fact that we do not smoke at all. At checkout, staff explicitly asked if we had smoked, and we clearly answered no. There was no smell, no physical evidence, and no confirmation from housekeeping.<br><br>The charge was applied after we had already left, based solely on a sensor alert. Only after this happened did I discover that multiple guests report the same issue in reviews, suggesting this is not an isolated incident.<br><br>Charging guests hundreds of dollars without proof, after checkout, based only on sensor data is unfair and deeply concerning. This completely undermines trust in the hotel.<br><br>Proceed with caution.

This was a fantastic location...Just a few blocks in either direction to the subway. The hotel was nicely decorated for the holiday and it smelled incredible. While not a fan of the bathroom shower stall kind of being visible from the rest of the room..I was fine with it as it was only me. However for familys...not sure if the set up is different as you can pretty much see into the shower from the rest of the room. The room was spacious and I loved the free drinks in the fridge. There was plenty of storage as well. The music playing throughout was also great for city vibes. The attached restaurant while very cozy was just okay at best. Did not have the best service for the dessert I had and wound up being charged twice. However, the staff was very great and fixed the issue as well as an issue I encountered during check in.

We stayed here for our Christmas holiday to the BIG Apple! Fantastic hotel, you could see the Empire State from our window. Such a brilliant location, within walking distance of the main sights in Manhattan (Times Square, 5th Avenue, Bryant Park). The room was lovely, great shower and free water and juice each day. We had a lovely stay!!

Room was a bit small but the complimentary drinks were really nice. Hotel is also in a great area, close to many restaurants, bars and train stations. The decor in the spacious lobby is nice, and front desk staff is friendly.

Would not recommend. Make sure you read their fine print. Not willing to accommodate.<br><br>We booked this hotel specifically for their free hotel shuttle for an 18 hour layover. The shuttle was an empty 15 passenger bus and they wouldn’t let us take it because our luggage was ‘too large’ despite it easily able to fit.<br><br>Upon arrival to the hotel the front desk said it’s written in their fine print.
