An exceptional dining experience and one of the finest Indian restaurants in New York City. Indian Accent combines creativity, technique, and authentic flavors to deliver a menu that is both innovative and deeply rooted in tradition. Every dish was beautifully executed, the service was outstanding, and the overall experience was memorable from start to finish. Highly recommended.

The restaurant has that upscale fine dining vibe to it. We each got a 3 course meal $88 and wine pairing for him with additional $42. All our food was an elevated version of indian food with a little twist to it. It was a good experience.
Had a truly exceptional anniversary meal experience at Indian Accent. I was skeptical about going as I love regular Indian food but wasn’t sure if the elevated fine dining would work. Every dish was wonderful, unique and interesting. I was full after the three courses and the wine pairings (excellent value for money) were equally delicious. Servers and sommelier were lovely making the meal especially enjoyable. This restaurant is worth of a Michelin star… a must try if you have never been. I can’t wait to return! Recommend the tofu vedai, potato chaat, eggplant cone, pork ribs, sea bass, lamb pancakes, chicken tikka bread, dal and malai foam… yummy!
Excellent dining experience with creative Indian flavours and a modern twist. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with taste. Service was attentive, and the atmosphere felt elegant yet welcoming. A great place for a special meal in New York.
Lovely experience. We did the chef's tasting menu and it was mouthwatering. Each course was not rushed and just the right amount. The entree was a bit too big for us. As much as we abs loved it, we could not finish it. Wish I could have though!!
We tried Indian Accent for lunch and reached around 1 PM—found a table right away. It wasn’t too busy for a Saturday, which made the experience even more relaxed.

The entrance was clean, and the tables maintained high hygiene standards. Cutlery was spotless, and the entire place had a pleasant, fresh feel. Noise levels were well controlled—you can actually enjoy a proper conversation without raising your voice.

The lunch menu offers great variety—a multi-course option for non-veg lovers ranging from chicken to beef, along with equally impressive vegetarian choices. You can begin with their flavorful chaats and then explore deeper into the main course selections.

The sangria stood out—so good that I ended up going for three rounds.

What deserves a special mention?
Tables are wiped with a clean cloth after every dish—such attention to detail really elevates the experience.

What could be better?
Honestly, nothing—they’re doing a great job.
Indian Accent was such a great!.. A refined, upscale dining experience where tradition meets innovation. Each dish was beautifully presented, layered with bold yet balanced flavors. From small plates to perfectly executed mains and elegant desserts, every course feels intentional.

The cocktails were well-crafted, especially the espresso martini 🍸. The service was attentive, polished, and warm without being intrusive. A perfect choice for a special occasion or an elevated night out.
Incredible Vegetarian Flavors and World-Class Service 🥘✨

Our dinner at Indian Accent in New York was an absolute delight from start to finish. We focused entirely on the vegetarian menu and were blown away by the creativity and depth of flavor in every dish. The Pav Bhaji was a sophisticated, elevated take on the classic street food, and the Mushroom Uttapam was a standout with its perfect texture and earthy richness. Every plate felt like a modern masterpiece while staying true to its roots. Beyond the food, the service was truly amazing—the staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and made the entire evening feel special. It’s rare to find a place where the atmosphere, hospitality, and cuisine all hit such a high mark. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a refined Indian dining experience! 🍛👌
Drinks and food were terrific. I was not a fan of the dessert. Sad: also hard to make a good dessert and impress a Bengali.

The ambiance was good, but nothing extraordinary.
Rarely impressed, but this place truly delivered. Incredible food, impeccable service, and a special mention to Mr. Walter, the sommelier, for flawless wine pairings and going above and beyond. A heartfelt shoutout to our server, Rubal, whose warmth and attentiveness elevated the experience. Standout dishes included the Kashmiri morels, phulka chilli pork, phulka pulled jackfruit, Goan shrimp balchão, ghee roast lamb, butter chicken kulcha, and Assamese pork dimsum , every bite memorable.
Idk why this isn’t a 4.8 star place minimum. Everything was great - host, servers, food, dessert, ambiance - would rate higher if I could. This is easily one of the best restaurants in nyc, should get advertised more tbh

I had the 3 course, some chaat dish, eggplant dish, and red snapper dish, black garlic naan, and burfi dessert that was awesome! Again I seriously don’t know why the overall rating on this restaurant isn’t higher definitely way better than a 4.4
Consistently some of the best Indian food in NYC. Can keep trying new things and never be disappointed. The amuse-bouche itself is incredible as well as the butter chicken kulcha
Everything was great. I ordered the four course tasting menu and was blown away by everything. The portion sizes are perfect - giving you enough to enjoy but not feel overwhelmed with food. You must try the Sweet Pickle Short Ribs. So delicious.
Had an amazing thanksgiving themed dinner here at Indian accent. They created a turkey cranberry dish like I've never tasted before. I would not even have known it was turkey due to how soft it was. Many dishes were new to me as it was a more of an Indian fusion cuisine, and all were great. I loved all the accompaniments too. The pumpkin pie dessert was beautiful. Am interested to try their regular menu in the future. Service was good but I think if they tidy it even more , this place has a chance for a Michelin star.
Overall a great fine dining experience at Indian Accent. The stand out dishes were the amuse bouche starter of cheese naan and warm pumpkin shot, wagyu pathar kebab on marrow bone with garlic, the restaurant specialty ghee roast lamb with roomali roti pancakes, and the doda barfi treacle tart. The flavors and execution was wonderful. I found the lamb dahi vada a bit too sweet for my taste and the lamb itself was lost. And while I did enjoy the black dairy dal naan and black garlic raita, it too hit a sweet note; I wish it was more savory. The restaurant ambience is high end and refined. And the service was great.
