IHOP

Total waste of my time and money. First I waited 25minutes for service. Then the server was talking to some of his friends and kept me waiting. Then when he did come he displayed an attitude, like I was a inconvenience to his day .Then I waited another 30 minutes for my my food. Then the order was wrong. He gave me raspberry tea instead of plain tee..than when he finally brought my plate , the steak was cold. Then he went back to talking to his friends again. Then he returned without a spoon for the tee. IT WAS THE WORST MEAL I HAVE EVER HAD AT THIS CHAIN. I EAR AT THIS CHAIN WHERE I LIVE IN NORTH CAROLINA AND THIS STORE NEEDS TO TAKE A LESSON FROM. I feel bad writing this but the Staten Island store should fire the whole staff and train some servers that give a hoot<br>Nobody there seemed to care about CUSTOMER CARE. WORST EVER.

Food was good but the service was not great at all. Came in at 9:30am (I know bc our GPS got here at this time), got seated right away, there were about 5 servers walking around, 3 of them walked right passed us for 20 min before I had to get up and ask the host who our server was no one had even taken our drink order (after seeing all the waitresses in the back just hanging around and laughing). It wasn’t until I asked when someone was sent over. I understand being busy (there were 8 other tables with people) but you would think 5 waitresses on the floor and not one even asked if we had been helped for over 20 min. 10am we finally got some waters.

Ashley and Wendy were absolutely wonderful. Even after the day we had a blizzard, they greated us with big smiles and a warm welcome. We love this ihop because of beautiful people like them work here!

I had a wonderful experience at IHOP thanks to Salina! Despite how busy she was, she managed everything so smoothly and with a friendly attitude. She checked on us frequently, kept our drinks filled, and made sure we felt valued even during a hectic time. Her professionalism and warm demeanor truly made our meal extra enjoyable. Highly recommend asking for her if you visit—she’s an exceptional server!

First allow me to commence that I found parking in front. The greeting entrance was amazing I applaud the young man at the counter. Music was very nice, the waitress was great, the food was well. Everyone was very much accommodating to my wife and I. Now the negative the table area was not to standard meaning syrup on the table top, back board of table, all around the syrup area basically glad I don’t use syrup on my pancakes.

Had a great experience dining the other day! My server was super friendly and attentive of us even though the place seemed really busy. Our order was perfect! They didnt forget anything, and was always making sure we had enough coffee. Cant wait to come again!!

Had a great experience at the Staten Island IHOP thanks to our waitress Stephanie! She was super friendly, attentive, and made sure everything came out exactly right. Our drinks were always refilled, the food arrived hot and fresh, and she kept a positive attitude even when it got busy. Customer service like hers really makes a difference. If you’re coming here, ask for Stephanie she’ll take great care of you!

I have to say, this was an awesome experience at IHOP. My server Ashley was so friendly, so sweet and very attentive although i think she is one of the best, i have gotten served by a few others as well before and they were also very great! 🥰 The food is so good! i will always come back here. 😌

I had a great experience at this IHOP! From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, welcoming, and attentive. The food came out fresh, hot, and exactly how we ordered it classic IHOP comfort food done right.<br><br>What really stood out was the management. The manager Kim was present on the floor, checking in on guests, supporting the staff, and making sure everything ran smoothly. You can tell when a restaurant is well-managed, and it truly makes a difference in the overall experience.<br><br>The team was friendly, efficient, and genuinely kind, which made our visit even more enjoyable. This location is clearly well-run, and we’ll definitely be back. Thank you to the manager and the entire staff for such a pleasant dining experience!

Had an amazing eating experience while coming down from Florida. Had a server named Ashley, she was very attentive and very kind. It’s servers like her that makes me wanna comeback. Whenever drinks were low she would be spot on to ask for refills and made sure we had everything from napkins to food.

I haven't been to this IHOP in a few years since moving to other side of the island, but errands had me back near Forest. Doesn't seem to be fully staffed because while we were seated pretty quickly, it took a LONG time to have a waitress come over to get us started on our order and it also took a LONG time to get our food. Food was OK with pancakes being the best part of the meal (considering its the International House of PANCAKES, it would have been sad if they weren't good). Waitress was very nice and as attentive as she could be, but def saw she was overwhelmed. Never remember service being this slow.

Sad, this use to be the breakfast spot years ago… not anymore. Eggs Benedict without hollandaise sauce. Sliced cheese slapped onto an omelette… pancakes. How can ihop not have fluffy pancakes? Very very disappointed

The food was terrible and everything was just not made the way it should.hasbrown was soggy. Omlette was cold. Order took 45 min at least to be served!! Everything was served one at a time!

I was craving IHOP. hubby and I went there. It was packed. However, the service was still good for the number of people i saw inside. All the tables were full of people. My waitress Ashley was the best. She was very sweet and patient with our orders. I enjoyed my food. I love their dulce de leche pancakes😋😋, never disappoints. The breakfast always hits the spot, and I like their portions. I had the spinach & mushroom omelette. It was delicious. The only thing i didn't like was the strawberry lemonade. The taste has changed. There was no strawberry in the juice like it used to. Besides the juice, i was really satisfied.
