I was really excited to try this spot until last night. To start the hostess was great! She alerted me that the kitchen would be closing soon. Which I knew but I finally had a night off and really wanted to try this spot. When I sat at the bar I was greeted by a great bartender. I let him know I knew the kitchen closed soon and would be quick with my order. Then 45 seconds later a different bartender came over to abruptly tell me with a lot of frustration that the kitchen was closing soon. It was 1039pm by this time and I was ready to give my order to the first bartender. The bartender that first greeted me made recommendations that I would then order. I had the tuna crisp by the taste you could tell it was old or had been sitting in the window for a while. I also had the sort rib which was so bland, the potatoes it came with were cold and flavorless. I was so disappointed because I wanted to love this place. I waited so long to get time off from work to indulge at this spot. I didn’t finish the rib I took it home so I could heat it up and season it. It was also tough which makes no sense. Also, one of the bartenders was extremely rude He wanted space at the bar because he had friends coming. He moving stuff and staring me down so I’d leave. Normally I wouldn’t have left out of spite. But I had a great day and I wasn’t going to allow this jerk to ruin my night. There was plenty of room for his friends. Also, I’m in the service industry so when did a guest become unimportant but your friends are the priority? I’ve attached the best picture I could get of the bartender who intimated me to leave. Needless to say I will not be returning. I still tipped 20% because the first bartender and the host even the runner were a joy.

I had the pleasure of dining at Hudson & Co. over the weekend, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, with breathtaking views of New York City that truly enhance the dining experience.<br><br>Upon arrival, Michaela, the wonderful hostess, welcomed us warmly and had us seated in less than five minutes. She checked on us throughout our visit to ensure everything was going well, which added a personal touch to the exceptional service.<br><br>The restaurant is both family friendly and accessible for guests with disabilities, making it a comfortable and welcoming environment for everyone. The ambiance was relaxed, stylish, and inviting, and the complimentary nearby parking was an added convenience.<br><br>As for the food, everything was excellent. The French onion soup was absolutely delicious, and the oxtail croquettes and shrimp tempura were equally impressive. Every dish was flavorful and beautifully prepared.<br><br>Overall, Hudson & Co. exceeded my expectations. Between the stunning views, attentive service, welcoming atmosphere, and incredible food, it’s easy to see why it’s such a popular destination. A perfect 10 out of 10!<br>I will definitely be returning soon. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!

Right on the river cute vibe. The food was good but I feel like you come more for the experience. Ron was out server he was amazing. Would come back for the bao buns

I had a great experience at Hudson Co, and a big part of that was thanks to Bruna. She was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down. Her recommendations were spot on, and she checked in at just the right times without ever being intrusive.<br><br>It’s rare to find service that genuinely enhances the whole dining experience, but Bruna definitely did that. You can tell she really cares about her guests and takes pride in her work.<br><br>If you’re visiting Hudson Co, I highly recommend asking for Bruna<br>you won’t be disappointed!

I had a great time at this restaurant, the ambiance was amazing and we got great pictures. I loved the food and the quality and service was amazing, I felt like i was valued as a customer. i came with my friends and we had a blast. Specifically my server Johanna was spectacular and made our stay 10x better. it was my friend’s birthday and it really made the day that much more special.

Hudson & Co delivered on every level. The food was incredible (especially the short ribs and bao buns), and the cocktails were unique and well-made. Everything arrived on time, and our server Brunna, was so friendly and attentive. We felt very well taken care of.

Hudson & Co never disappoints. The seafood chitarra was fresh and flavorful, the octopus was cooked perfectly, and the bao buns were a standout. The short ribs were incredibly tender, and the burrata was delicious. Brunna gave us exceptional service, friendly, attentive, and made sure everything arrived on time.

Overall ok experience. Food is overpriced but it’s expected in Jersey City. The portions are small for what you’re paying. $17 for Mac and cheese. Just no lol. Chicken bacon ranch pizza is 25 , it’s small and it was ok. Nothing to write home about. The servers were very nice and attentive though especially the hostess. Also $19 for VEGETARIAN meat balls. Not even meat and $19? They fill up the space on plates with vegetables so you get the least amount of value.

We had a great experience. The service was genuinely impressive and the staff checked up on us constantly to make sure we had everything we needed. Ron, Brandon, and Leo all went above and beyond and handled our large party really well. The food was good, the atmosphere was comfortable, and the whole night felt easy because of how attentive the team was.

We had an amazing experience at Hudson & Co! We ordered a sushi platter , shrimp bao and a pizza — both were absolutely delicious. The sushi and the shrimp bao was fresh and beautifully presented, and the pizza came out hot, crispy, and full of flavor.<br>We were celebrating my sister’s birthday, and the staff made it extra special by bringing out the Ping Pong Wheel — which was on the house! It was such a fun and thoughtful surprise, and it really added to the celebration.<br>The atmosphere was lively, the service was friendly, and everything came together for a perfect evening. Highly recommend Hudson & Co for great food, great vibes, and great hospitality! 🎉🍣🍕

I recently had the pleasure of dining in downtown JC, and I highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking to try something new. My friends and I visited on a Friday, and although our server was busy, one of the assistants went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. We asked for recommendations, and he suggested the octopus as an appetizer and the shrimp mao buns, both of which were delicious. For entrees, I highly recommend the porch chop and the ny strip. Overall, I was impressed with the service, particularly the teamwork between our server and the assistant. It's clear that the assistants play a vital role in ensuring a smooth dining experience.

This fantastic spot is conveniently located right by the water. The food is simply amazing, and the drinks are equally delightful. The hamburgers and steak are particularly noteworthy. The outdoor seating offers a great view, and the ambiance is simply amazing. However, I must mention that parking was quite accessible at one point, but it seems like the outdoor parking area is being converted into a building.

Went on a Monday at 1pm for lunch and had the best outdoor seating. Employees were friendly, tasty food, captivating view. Myself +1 ordered the Black Truffle Pizza made in their brick oven, soup of the day, Golden Apple Kale Salad with chicken (add on), and the tossed Greek salad with shrimp. All food selections were yum.

Had a wonderful lunch at Hudson & Co. We sat outdoors with beautiful river and city views, which made the atmosphere very relaxing. The lunch dishes were fresh and tasty, and finishing with coffee and dessert was the perfect touch. Friendly service and a great overall experience—highly recommend!

Hudson & Co. is an absolute gem right on the waterfront. The atmosphere is always lively yet comfortable, with some of the best views of Manhattan you’ll find anywhere in Jersey City. The food is consistently excellent—everything from the apps to the mains is fresh, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. Cocktails are top-notch as well, crafted with care and creativity.<br><br>The service really stands out too. The staff is attentive without being overbearing and always makes you feel welcome. Whether it’s a casual dinner, drinks with friends, or hosting out-of-town guests, Hudson & Co. delivers every time.<br><br>It’s such a perk having this spot right in the area—I find myself coming back again and again.
