Really nice ambience. There was live music which was very engaging. The food was good too. However, we ordered a second serving of the fried dumplings which wasn’t good at all. They also charged us an 18% gratuity without even mentioning it to us anywhere. We were a party of four people.

We had walked into this place accidentally because the restaurant we wanted to go had closed down.
There wasn’t any wait for a group of 8 people on Friday night.
The service and the atmosphere with live music were great, although a bit loud for a restaurant.
The food was average overall, not bad at all but nothing noteworthy or worth going back for.
We were a big group with a huge order - veg jhol Momos, chicken jhol Momos, chicken deep fried Momos, chicken steam momos, chilli paneer, chilli chicken, veg chowmien, veg thenthuk (huge letdown), chicken sekuwa and rasmalai.
Best Nepali Thali.
Ambiance was so authentic (Felt like sitting in Nepal)
Abhishek was very professional and knowledgeable.
BIRTHDAY SPENT WELL with my favorite Nepali cuisine.
Himalayan Yak in Jackson Heights was an incredible experience. The live show was the highlight, and the fact that they’re open late is a huge plus. Everything we ate was delicious — the chicken chow mein was my favorite, and the pani puri, chicken lollipop, chicken sekuwa, and drinks were all excellent.
The service was impeccable, making it a truly exceptional dining experience. The owners were incredibly kind and friendly, which made the night even more special. I highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone — I will definitely be returning!
I just had the vegetarian thali and feel so full. The black daal is the best I've ever had. Food arrived quickly and the quality was top-notch.
Very cozy and nice vibe. The momos were incredible. Also ordered the soup.
Vegetarian/vegan friendly and the staff was very helpful to answer questions on the menu to confirm what was vegetarian. Will be back !
This place is overrated. The service was bad, the waiters were inattentive to our needs. The food came out cold. They even forgot about our dish. The chicken dumplings were overrated
A friend and I went there for drinks and dinner very early in the evening. We had ordered some appetizers and had about five drinks each. We were enjoying the atmosphere and drinking drinks. And our plan was to have a few more drinks and then have a Nepali Thali set meal at the end. And it felt like a dream to us when some of the staff suddenly came and said, "You should leave this table and sit at the bar, our other guests have arrived."Because at the time we entered the restaurant, there were only two tables with their guests. But I convinced my friend to go to the bar and have a few drinks, but my friend didn't agree. And I asked my friend why, but he said that the treat he received was disgusting. And overall, the two of us had a good meal there. And when I tried to give a 20% tip even though I didn't get my wish to have drinks and dinner there, my friend refused. Because that's very trash behavior, There we paid the bill and went to another Nepali restaurant for a few drinks, and dinner was also very delightful. When some people asked me about the Himalayan yak, I used to highly recommend it, but I don't say it's good anymore. I didn't get drunk even though I had five drinks, but this service and this behavior really put me off.
From you enter the door you are greeted by friendly staff. Luckily for me, my party was here and easy to spot. A were a large group celebrating our friends birthday. The place isn't huge but it is a good size and was able to accommodate us.

There were many appetizers on the table that were very delish. A hit for me were the seasoned potatoes, Aloo Dum (dry). I ordered the Shogo Ngopa and decided to go with tingmo instead of the white rice. Trying something new! Also ordered a mango lassie.

Food came out fresh, warm and delicious. The tingmo reminded me to a steamed bun with out the filling but with layers. Everything was good. Everyone was friendly and kept our water glasses filled.

At 9pm there was live music which was a nice treat. They even sang happy birthday to our friend. Nice place and will definitely try again!
Went for dinner with my team from New York who chosen this Restaurent . Food was delicious and service was perfect. The best part of the restaurant was we enjoyed live music ( Nepali and Hindi songs). we managed to dance in our space next to our table too… Highly recommended if you are in New York and looking for Nepali restaurant with live music
The food was good overall. We had chicken momo, goat thali, chicken thali, and fish thali, and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. I especially liked how the momo came with three different types of sauce—it was a nice touch.

The only thing that stood out was the dessert. We ordered three plates of gulab jamun and some dahi. Two of the gulab jamuns were served cold, and one was hot. The hot one tasted much better, and I believe it’s supposed to be served warm. Aside from that, everything else was great.
Visited recently after watching the July 4th fireworks and, luckily, managed to get a table for three. As always, the food was great. We never skip the chilly mushroom—it’s our go-to dish every time we come here.

The chicken curry and Momo are okay, not a standout. However, the noodles, chili, duck sekuwa, grilled salmon, achar and chatpate are really some of the best you’ll find in Jackson Heights.

We also happened to be there during Prajwal Dai’s birthday celebration on July 5th. His live singing always adds a whole new vibe to the evening and elevates the atmosphere.

Thank you very much for this wonderful review. We look forward to serving you soon.
The food was really good and very filling, I had a really good time with my friends. We were here on a Monday night. The restaurant was not very crowded and we got to enjoy a nice dinner. The stew and the chicken buns with peanut sauce were my favorite. They also have nice appetizers and drinks. I liked the mango lassi I ordered. They are also conveniently located near the subway, so it's a good spot for friends gathering.
I was seriously craving some Indo-Chinese or Nepali/Tibetan-style food during my recent trip to New York, and a quick Google search led me to this spot. It was a late Friday night, around 10 PM, and the place was still buzzing — packed with diners and open until midnight, which worked perfectly for us.

We lucked out with a parking spot right in front of the restaurant, and even better, we got seated immediately despite the crowd. The atmosphere inside was vibrant and full of life, with lots of Nepali locals dining — always a good sign when you’re trying regional cuisine. There was live guitar music in the background, adding to the warm and lively vibe. They have a bar too, though we skipped drinks this time.

We started with chicken steamed momos, which actually arrived a bit later — the kitchen was steaming them fresh, so no complaints there. In the meantime, we ordered chicken noodles, chili chicken, and a traditional Nepali pork dish ( forgot the name, check their menu) — lightly grilled or shallow-fried pork served with muri (puffed rice).

The sauces and condiments were fresh and full of flavor, and the food overall was excellent. The pork stood out the most — smoky, tender, grilled to perfection, with a nostalgic crunch from the muri. The noodles and chili chicken reminded me of classic Indian street food — bold, spicy, and satisfying.

As for the momos — the most hyped item — they were good, but slightly underwhelming. The wrapper was a bit thick and the filling slightly dry. Still enjoyable, just not the highlight.

Overall, the experience was fantastic. Great food, lively ambiance, very reasonable prices — would definitely go back and highly recommend to anyone craving those comforting Himalayan flavors late at night.
A beloved Nepali staple in the Jackson Heights neighborhood known for their live music and delicious food. This place is a must-try if you’re in Queens! We came early so there was ample space and no wait. Highly recommend the momo, chili fish/chicken, chow main and with fluffy egg, and sizzling platters that come with savory gravy noodles. Best to come with lots of people to try more family style!
