The traditional pub setting with good TVs for sports and a solid beer selection makes it ideal for unwinding. Tried the bangers & mash and wings, both hearty and tasty. Service was quick and welcoming. It got busy later, but still enjoyable. About $50 per person. Reliable British pub in the Theater District area.

Visited Haswell Greens recently and had such a good time!! Kevin the manager was so lovely to deal with and the staff were all super friendly. It is such a perfect space to go for dinner and drinks with a group of friends and also they often have live music which always adds to a great night! They have an impressive cocktail list to choose from also! Overall a great Irish bar in midtown manhattan and it is amazing to see this Irish bar supporting Irish products in NYC.

Stopped into Haswell Greens while in Manhattan and what a great find! This place has such a fun energy from the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is lively without feeling overwhelming, and having live music 7 nights a week really makes it stand out from a typical NYC bar and restaurant. The bar area itself is beautiful — plenty of seating, great lighting, creative cocktails, and a perfect spot to grab drinks before a Broadway show or just enjoy a night out in the city.<br><br>I ordered the Steak Sandwich and it was absolutely delicious. It came with a perfectly cooked 6 oz prime sirloin topped with sautéed onions, melted mozzarella, and garlic aioli on toasted ciabatta bread, plus a side of rich peppercorn sauce for dipping. Every bite was flavorful and satisfying.<br><br>A big shoutout to our server Karen who made the experience even better. She was incredibly friendly, funny, and attentive throughout our visit. She checked on us often, kept the good vibes going, and made us feel genuinely welcome. Great service like that really makes a difference.<br><br>If you’re looking for a fun Manhattan spot with live music, great food, drinks, and excellent service, Haswell Greens is definitely worth checking out!

Espresso martini flight brought me here, but for $40, I expected better. Three small glasses to try, white chocolate, classic, and another I forget and they all tasted the same to me. The food was good but we both got burgers so pretty basic. The best thing we had was the app- the brisket bao buns. Very tasty. The seating set up is weird. Looks like it would be intimate but felt claustrophobic with the built in window like walls in between the small tables. Old newspaper is used as the wallpaper but it’s all chipped and rolling off the walls. Security hangs out in the front pacing back and forth behind you as you eat. There was live music on the other side of the bar, but you weren’t allowed to sit or stand anywhere near the music , despite the open tables and space, because security stood there and said no? Not very welcoming. Wouldn’t really recommend, lots of other places to try.

Had a brilliant time at Haswells and can’t wait to come back. Taylor made my family and I feel extremely welcome and comfortable, her service was exceptional and even in a busy room we didn’t have to wait on anything. She was awesome! The food and drinks were absolutely fantastic and the atmosphere with the live music was so much fun, looking forward to returning👍

This might be one of the best tasting pizza sauces I’ve ever had and overall one of the best gluten free pizzas. I got the pepperoni with the hot honey, it’s thin crust and on the crispy side, but the flavors were 10/10. Service was amazing, lots of TVs, lots of space. They have music every night of the week which means a $10 cover. My only critique would be charging the cover way before the music started. I had to pay but was done before it ever started.

Haswell Greens was the absolute highlight of our trip to the Theater District. The location is perfect for anyone catching a Broadway show, which is exactly why we booked it.<br>My wife is Irish and usually avoids "Irish bars" outside of Ireland, but since I’d made a reservation, she buckled under the pressure and agreed to go. I highly recommend booking ahead—just like the other reviews suggested, they asked for our name the second we walked in.<br>What started as "staying for just one drink" turned into the entire evening. The atmosphere is high-octane with incredible dueling pianos that turn the room into a massive sing-along. We ended up staying for a lovely dinner of wood-fired pizza and smash burgers, but the real star was the Espresso Martini Flight. It’s a brilliant way to sample different takes on the classic and kept our energy up for the music.<br>What truly made the night was our amazing waitress, Karen K. Karen was incredibly attentive and her specific recommendations were spot on. Thanks to her, we had a fantastic experience that even won over my skeptical wife. A very nice hidden gem. Although it was a bit crowded when we arrived we still had a bit of privacy in a booth. We did the piano brunch. Staff were all great! Food was good. The canoli stuffed french toast. Was literally a dry burnt toast sandwich with canoli in the middle. I was imagining something more like IHOPs stuffed French toast for the price. The burger was delish!! Their pornstar martinis are amazing! I definitely see a revisit in the future.

Great spot to get pre-show drinks in the theater district. Cocktails were delicious! The dueling pianos just started when we were almost done - very engaging & interactive. Would love to come back and try their weekend piano brunch.

We had a great experience at this pub, and I truly want to highlight how impressive the staff was.<br><br>We were a little caught off guard at first because there was a $10 cover charge at the entrance due to an event happening that night — something we didn’t expect. However, once inside, everything completely changed in the best way.<br><br>Despite the large crowd and the high volume of guests, the entire team (servers, bartenders, host, and the person at the door) was extremely organized, professional, and clearly well-trained on how to provide great service under pressure. That says a lot about the place.<br><br>Our waitress was incredibly kind and patient, especially with my friends (they’re international visitors and communication wasn’t always easy). Even though there was a full event going on, the staff still managed to find us a table because our goal wasn’t the event — we were simply looking for a nearby place to eat after a long day. Honestly, our expectations were low since we were walk-ins, hungry and tired… but the team exceeded them.<br><br>The food was really good, the prices were fair, and service was fast. Drinks came out quickly, and I also really appreciated the patience during payment — some of my friends’ international cards weren’t going through, and the staff handled it respectfully without making it uncomfortable.<br><br>The atmosphere was definitely loud, but it made sense because there was a karaoke/event going on. Even though I’m not usually into loud places, this felt festive and fun — I even found myself singing along from our table.<br><br>Big thank you to the entire team for being so welcoming and helpful. You made our night much easier, and we really appreciate it.

I stumbled in here on my way to the MJ show and absolutely loved the ambiance — the music, food, and architecture were all great! The only downside was that even though we were seated at a table, we constantly had to get up and order at the bar, which was a bit annoying. Other than that, it’s a really nice spot and definitely worth checking out.

This place is an absolute UNICORN. There aren't many places like it. This place is perfect if you're meeting friends for a drink after work, visiting NYC for your first time, looking to grab a pre-theater dinner, looking for a fancy cocktail, looking to grab a post-theater drink, visiting NYC for your 50th time, looking for a cold beer, looking for live music that actually sounds great, looking for a late night snack, looking to catch the game on a Saturday or Sunday, looking for a quiet lunch spot..... It literally is all those things and then some! And the food is not only good, is amazingly tasty (my personal favs are the Korean Chicken Sandwich, the Smash Burger, and the Bee My Honey Pizza). And that's only half the story. Wait until you meet the phenomenal staff. Fiato, Rich, and Sarah are just a few of the amazing bartenders who will dazzle you with their shaker skills or make sure that your beer never runs low. I've worked on 52nd Street for about 20 years and Hazwells has been a much needed addition to our neighborhood and has become a second home to myself and my coworkers. Any time I have family or friends visiting NYC, I always tell them to add this place to their list. It's definitely worth checking out for yourself.

We came here for the dueling pianos, which was a bit of a misnomer, but we'd come back for the food. The seared tuna was no doubt the best I've had in my life. Absolutely outstanding. The cheeseburger was that perfect gooey, cheesy, guilty pleasure kind of burger. Drinks were fantastic. 10/10. Recommend!

Been here three times now and I’m always impressed. The food is excellent! We typically order and split a few appetizers and have had and loved the truffle fries, arancini, chicken tenders, and more. The drinks are great too, especially the Flower Shop, (although the espresso martini flight is pricey and not worth it in my personal opinion, but I am picky with my espresso martinis). It’s the perfect spot to grab dinner before or after a show.

I’m sure the music and night life is great but the food wasn’t worth the price. The chicken and waffles looked pretty but looks are deceiving. The waffle was so soggy and the chicken had no flavor. It was bland and overcooked. The egg breakfast wasn’t bad but it was two eggs and toast.. not too hard to cook. The breakfast burrito was awful on the other hand. It was full of rice and no bacon in sight or to taste! The only meal I can reckoned getting is the brisket which was tender and had a delicious flavor.<br>I’m thinking next time I’ll drink a lot before I eat and then I won’t care how the food tastes!
