Really nice hotel. We had a great experience from start to finish. Miriam at the front office who checked us in, Clifton on the door who was always very welcoming and Roberta who cleaned our room. Everyone was super friendly, kind and helpful. We got some great recommendation for local foods and restaurants. The breakfast had a wide selection from cold and hot. I especially enjoyed the waffles. Nice tea and coffee station available all day in the lobby. The bed was incredibly comfy, we slept great. Highly recommend this hotel.

Response from the owner

Dear Oscar Southwell,
Thank you for your great review. Our associates are always ready to go above and beyond to make our guest's stay memorable. We will certainly let Miriam, Clifton, and Roberta know how awesome they are and share your review with the rest of our team as well. Terrible GM.

We arrived early, dropped off our bags, and later returned with rental bikes while waiting for our room. The room was not ready by 3:00 PM, and instead of the GM, Jennifer, speaking with us directly, she repeatedly sent front desk staff to tell us what they would not allow.

The issue was not simply the policy. The issue was the complete lack of leadership, communication, flexibility, and guest service. Jennifer refused to speak with me, offered no solution, and made her frontline employees handle the situation while she stayed out of sight.

Brian, Joseph and Romeo at the front desk were professional, patient, and did their best to help. Unfortunately, they were put in a bad position by poor leadership.

I have stayed at other Hilton properties with a completely different and much better experience. This stay was unwelcoming, frustrating, and poorly handled from the top. Based on this experience, I would not stay here again.

Amazing location. Staff were all great. Free breakfast was very good...proper plates and cutlery would of been nice but difficult to fault this place. Room was a nice size with view and price very competitive.

Response from the owner

Dear Redundancy Helpline,
Thank you for your review and recommendation. We're pleased to hear that our comfortable hotel, friendly staff, and convenient location made for an enjoyable stay. We also appreciate your feedback on our breakfast cutlery and have noted your comments for improvement. We enjoyed having you as our guest and hope you'll visit us again soon.
Best,
Jennifer Foti
General Manager

Good location but you can do better on every measure. Staff are useless if you need anything. Asked for late checkout (confirmed on app and with 3 different people as I needed to take a work call that would go slightly past 11) had housekeeping barge in at 11:03, argue with me that I didn’t have late check out.
Elevators are slow so you need to add about 10min for leaving hotel. Breakfast is not good, but it’s free so can be an okay snack before heading out.
Overall there’s just so many better places in this area for same price, so go elsewhere.

Response from the owner

Dear Steven Lewis,
Thank you for your review. I am very sorry to hear that you had a disappointing experience, and I sincerely apologize for the areas we fell short of meeting your expectations. We want to WOW our guests, so I'm disappointed that your stay was just okay. I appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback and we hope you will reconsider your return. We'd love the opportunity to serve you better.
Sincerely,
Jennifer Foti
General Manager

We stayed here for 2 nights. The staff once we arrived were exceptional!! They truly care about what they’re doing and went above and beyond with recommendations, accommodations etc. Every staff member we encountered was so nice but in particularly I want to highlight 3. Mariam checked us and just her smile alone welcomes you but she was exceptional the entire stay, greeting us, suggesting places. Second, right next to her was Brian. He was so kind and sweet. Third, there was Eddie. He was funny and the 3 of them made our experience that much better. I forgot their names but there was the luggage storage guy and security personal that were super helpful with any questions we had. All around could not recommend this place more!!! Location is right in time square and if you want the best customer service, this is the hotel for you!!!!

Response from the owner

Dear AFRIKE PHAKOS,
We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us. Knowing that our hospitality not only met but exceeded your expectations warms our hearts. We strive to provide exceptional service every day, and it means so much to hear your kind words. We sincerely look forward to welcoming you back for another wonderful and comforting stay!
Best,
Jennifer Foti
General Manager

This hotel hosted my high school group of 25 and did an amazing job! The rooms were spacious, clean, and well maintained. Breakfast had a variety of choices and was kept very well stocked. Location could not be better-extremely convenient to the Times Square/42nd St. subway station and Port Authority stations, so you can get anywhere you’d like to go very easily. All the staff I interacted with were very helpful and friendly. I always choose to stay at Hilton brand properties whenever possible and this location really shone a spotlight on the reason why. Very highly recommended; would definitely stay here again by myself or with a group.

Response from the owner

Dear Alex Kovalsky,
I can't thank you enough for writing and sharing this review. Hotels, like all service-based businesses, thrive on feedback and guest recommendations. We appreciate you taking the time to let other travelers know about your exceptional experience with us. Please come and see us again.
Best,
Jennifer Foti
General Manager

Very well located hotel near Times Square, with the subway right next door for getting around. Affordable rates for Manhattan.

The entire staff — from the night guard, to the receptionists, housekeeping, and the breakfast team — everyone was very friendly and welcoming.

I stayed there from February 18th to 21st for my daughter’s Sweet Sixteen. The staff prepared a lovely surprise for her upon our arrival, and we were truly touched. Thank you again to the team for that thoughtful attention.

We totally recommend this hotel and will definitely come back.

Response from the owner

We stayed here during the New Year’s Eve as it is a short walk to see the ball drop. It’s a nice and clean place with many amenities to offer with enough cash to pay.
We stayed in the 30th floor to have a nice view of the city. Somehow on this floor, there was always a breeze flow through all day and night reminding me of beach camping on a windy night.

There is a small convenience market having medicine and drinks (including several different beer bottles) and can be charged to your room.
They allow early check-in with a fee of $50.

The gym was nice. Have all the equipment to stay healthy.

The laundry room was a nice feature. The machine also accepts digital payment making things easier than carrying around quarters. If you use the dryer, go ahead and pay for two cycles.

The staff was always friendly and accommodating during our entire stay of 4 nights. Free coffee was provided 24/7 at all times. We didn’t even have to brew coffee in our room.

Fast check in and check out. Even though the hotel is high rise there are three very fast elevators so there was no inconvenience. The interior feels recently renovated and very clean. Minor downsides are slightly low water pressure and a somewhat noisy heating system but at this price it is hard to find a better hotel. Excellent breakfast and outstanding value for the price.

Response from the owner

Dear Princess J,
While it wasn't without some flaws, I am glad to hear that your stay was pleasant. Thank you so much for taking the time to share these kind words with other potential travelers and us. We hope you will consider a return trip for a flawless experience next time.
Best,
Jennifer Foti
General Manager

My recent stay at the Hampton Inn Manhattan/Times Square Central was absolutely wonderful, and a big part of that experience was the incredible staff.

From the moment we arrived, Bellman Sonnie stood out for his hard work, professionalism, and genuine kindness. He was always moving, assisting guests with a smile, handling luggage efficiently, and making everyone feel welcomed. No matter how busy the lobby was, Sonnie remained attentive and courteous, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. His positive attitude truly set the tone for our stay.

At the front desk, Eddie provided exceptional service. He was friendly, patient, and extremely helpful with every question we had. Whether it was check-in, local recommendations, or special requests, Eddie handled everything with efficiency and warmth. His professionalism and welcoming personality made us feel valued as guests.

The hotel itself is in a fantastic location near Times Square, clean, comfortable, and well-maintained—but it’s the dedication and kindness of team members like Sonnie and Eddie that truly make this property special.

I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again. Thank you to Sonnie, Eddie, and the entire team for making our trip unforgettable!
Renate Browne & Family!

My experience while at this hotel was very pleasant. The convenient location, walking distance to everything, and close proximity to one of the bus stations was fabulous. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and in true NYC fashion-very small. Which we expected; but didn’t think ahead about where our suitcases would store in the room. We got creative and it worked out.
I wouldn’t necessarily pay extra for a city view even if you get a high floor though, you’re just looking at the back of other buildings on the street.
Being able to leave your luggage before check in and after check out is a huge plus. We felt very safe the whole time we were here. Continental breakfast was just that, nothing special but does the job and saves some money.

Response from the owner

Dear Laura Colby,
Thank you for your time in reviewing our hotel. I'm sorry for any confusion regarding your bill. We provide a detailed folio upon departure and are at your service for any additional explanations regarding your charges. I'm terribly sorry if we did not effectively communicate with you during your stay. Your feedback helps us improve our communications, so we hope to host you again.
Sincerely,
Jennifer Foti
General Manager

My family stayed in this hotel for 5 days in February for son’s High School Honors Band performance in Carnegie Hall. This was the most affordable hotel in the area. One block from it is the Times Square. We were able to navigate the city by subway, there is station right by hotel on 42st. Rooms were small but it’s understandable given the density of NYC. Free complimentary breakfast was a great day to start each day and complimentary coffee/tea/hot water in lobby was great. There is no microwave in a room, if you need to heat up anything, there is one in the lobby. Overall very satisfied with the stay and will definitely consider to stay again next time visiting NYC.

Response from the owner

Dear Artem Metelskiy,
We are truly honored by your kind words and thrilled that you had such a positive experience during your stay with us. Knowing that our guests want to return brings us great joy, and your thoughtful review means a lot to all of us here at the Hampton Inn. Thank you for choosing us, and we sincerely hope to welcome you back again soon.
Best,
Jennifer Foti
General Manager

Amazing hotel! I don’t expect much when I get to NYC and am used to tiny rooms and ambivalent service. This hotel exceeded our expectations—clean, well located, etc. but the best part was the service. The staff truly went above and beyond during our stay. Everyone was kind, helpful, and pleasant. They went above and beyond to welcome our kids, help us get a taxi, explaining things, etc. We will return!

Response from the owner

Dear Jessica Cavanaugh,
We are truly touched to hear that your stay at our hotel exceeded your expectations. Thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing your wonderful experience with us—it means more than we can say. Your satisfaction is our greatest reward, and we’re genuinely grateful for your support. We look forward to welcoming you back soon!
Best,
Jennifer Foti
General Manager

Hamilton Hotel in Manhattan is an excellent choice for an unexpected stay in the city. I ended up there because of bad weather and was genuinely surprised by how comfortable and welcoming it was.The room was very clean, well kept, and felt fresh from the moment I walked in. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is calm and pleasant, making it easy to relax even after a stressful travel day. For a total of around $250 for the night, I felt the value was outstanding for Manhattan. The staff were polite and efficient, and the property itself is nicely maintained, with a neat and attractive interior. I stayed overnight and had a very beautiful experience from check-in to check-out. I would definitely recommend the Hamilton in Manhattan to anyone needing a reliable, clean, and comfortable place to stay in New York City, whether planned or last-minute.
I work at Hudson yard... Teaching salsa and merengue and bachata Colombian style. So it was private and I finished like at 12:00 in the morning I didn't have enough time to go home. So since I have to work like the next day. At 9:00 a.m
. my regular job
So it made sense to stay at the 🏨
848-466-2821 fantastic experience

Very small room but I've heard for the location, this is the largest room. Its literally down the street from Bryant Park. Right next to a great little Irish Bar. Breakfast was average for a hotel. Even if you are a member they charge over $100 for car service if you dont want to take Uber or cab. Elevators are kinda slow but there are 3 of them. We'd stay here again. The price for 5 nights was almost 5k. But that is also normal for Times Square apparently. We stayed on the 29th floor and we could still hear a lot of sirens. Id say if you want it to be more quiet, go higher. It just takes the elevator longer to and from.

Response from the owner

Dear Barbie Romero,
We are absolutely thrilled to hear that you would choose to stay with us again! Thank you for your valuable feedback and for highlighting areas where we can improve. Our commitment is to be the premier hotel in New York, and your insights are invaluable to us.
