Great experience overall. The mixed chicken and lamb over rice was really tasty, and the fries were fresh and perfectly seasoned. Good service too. Would definitely come back!

This is literally the closest halal location for me currently and it does satiate the craving.<br><br>Service has always been straight, no frill, and nothing to complain about.<br><br>Atmosphere is open spaced; there are open seatings for some who want to sit and eat but people mostly come to do take out.<br><br>Now, the food:<br><br>Portion: they load it up! Be prepared to feel full or share between two with left overs.<br><br>Deal: When I first start coming here, their platter comes with a can of soda (which is great!); but due to inflation they stopped offering it. Granted their portion is still huge so for the price it’s still worth it.<br><br>Taste wise: I am not sure if they changed the way these are made but it feels like it’s missing something. When I had it before it it’s the spot and was super flavorful but for some reason it feels a bit different now than before.<br><br>That being said. It still is delicious and full of flavor; but now missing the “zing”<br><br>With all things in consideration. 4/5.<br><br>Food: 3.5/5<br>Service: 5/5<br>Atmosphere: 4/5

I can’t recommend this place enough! The work and craftsmanship they put into their food is evident in every bite; everything is incredibly fresh, perfectly seasoned, and that white sauce is legendary. Even during a busy rush, the workers stay friendly, professional, and high-energy, making you feel genuinely welcome. Best of all, the timing was spot on—my food was prepared with impressive speed without sacrificing any quality. If you want top-tier food served by a hardworking team in record time, this is the spot!

I’ve been coming here since the place opened in my neighborhood, service is generally good, food portion is definitely inconsistent depending on the team on shift but today is probably the worst it’s been in a while.<br>Team’s portion was smallest I have ever seen and learned the platter no longer comes with a drink, cashier was speaking with a customer which my friends and I thought he was speaking to and mistakenly charged us for drinks despite paying for one combo and 2 platters. I’ll pay my bill as issued and I’ll continue to come here but new customers, be wary what you’re getting yourself into if you find yourself in an odd situation.

In its prime by far the best halal spot of all time,<br><br>Nothing will beat 2019-2021 halal munchies.<br><br>Still a valid spot and the service here is fire,<br><br>Highly recommend for late night eats!!

I've been coming here for a while now and this halal spot never disappoints. It's more expensive that the carts you see around NYC but they also give you more food.<br><br>They are the only place that I've seen that does spicy rice and it's really good.<br><br>There is paid two hour parking outside (but you can probably get away with not paying if you're just in and out)

I’ve been going to Halal Munchies on and off for about 5 years. It’s close to home and the food is decent, the service has never been great. 80% of the time I go there, the staff looks like they don’t want to be there. Yesterday was my last straw. My husband got 2 lamb gyros from there. The place is about 5 minutes from my house. My husband, ordered at the restaurant, he said the guy that assembled the gyros did not want to be there. Anyway my husband got home and he immediately began to eat it. The gyro was cold, the pita bread had burn marks, was hard and cold. We were so upset, we took a few bites and threw it out.

This place is a life saver when it comes to late night spots. The amount of times I come to this place for a bite ESPECIALLY AFTER WORK is pretty high cuz everything around the area is closed. The service is great and the wait times are really short. They're gyros are phenomenal, the combos is great too and the burgers are cooked to perfection.

Halal Munchies is a go-to spot for fresh, flavorful food and great service. Their chicken over rice is tender, well-seasoned, and perfectly paired with sauces. The menu has something for everyone—Philly cheesesteaks, juicy cheeseburgers, crispy wings, and more. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. Every visit feels like you’re being served with care.

I’ve ordered from this halal munchies several times and I did enjoy their food in the past. However, this last time I found a screw inside of the falafel. I didn’t know it was in there and I ended up biting down on it. I have attached pictures. While I did enjoy the food in the past, I’m not sure if I’ll be able to order from here again as their food quality is definitely compromised if a screw was able to get into it.

I was disappointed with my recent visit to Halal Munchies. The fries were undercooked—cold, barely fried, and not appetizing at all. As for the burgers, there’s a serious issue with consistency. Sometimes they’re decent, but other times the quality drops noticeably. It feels like a hit-or-miss experience, and unfortunately, this time it missed. Hoping they work on improving the basics.

Thank you very much for the staff there. I was a delivery man that night and I wore a jersey of a country they were familiar with. When I finished picking up the food, they gave me a free dinner. I really appreciate it. I have picked up food several times in this store. They also provide toilet services for our delivery men. Their food was very delicious when I ate it for the first time. Thank you again. I will wear another Qatar jersey next time I come. Football has no borders.

Way better than the halal guys in Manhattan. I have been to Halal munchies so many times. Highly recommended. 5 stars every time. They give you an option for fries (amazing) or hummus.
