The coffee and breakfast sandwiches are amazing. Great way to start off my day. Very fast service, Leo and Alexandre are very friendly and prepare your things to your liking.
This little coffee shop may be small and quaint, but the flavors are anything but. From the rich coffee to the amazing breakfast options, everything is made with care and quality ingredients. The homemade cream cheese is absolutely unforgettable and easily one of the highlights of the menu. Cozy atmosphere, great food, and friendly service make this a spot well worth visiting.
Great spot for authentic coffee in the U.S. I’ve been here three times and it’s consistently good. The freddo espresso is excellent—smooth, well-balanced, and just like in Greece. The pastries are fresh and delicious, with a nice variety to choose from. Friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere make it a place I’ll definitely keep coming back to.
The bagels here are honestly the best in Manhattan. They’re way better than the big-name chain places that got famous. I’m not sure if someone named Erick is the owner, but he’s super energetic and really knows how to make customers feel welcome. Both the taste and the vibe are amazing—definitely give these bagels a try!
The music selection was so good, remixes of RnB, good vibes.. staff was very helpful on coffee recommendations, they were super nice and welcoming! Leo and I forget the other guys name who recommended me the shaken espresso (which I enjoyed w/almond milk!)

Also had the French toast combo w/scrambled eggs and bacon!
Best coffee spot in Times Square... staff is friendly and welcoming. Its always busy but you wouldn't know it. They are a model if efficiency.

All with a smile! 11/10 🙌🏼
I ordered bagels and macaroons and it was an amazing experience. Touring New York for the first time and this was the best breakfast spot I found. Music was amazing keeping the vibes up the employees were so attentive even at the busiest! Kisses to the chef.
What an amazing experience - the gentleman behind the counter are experts at their craft. Every bagel cut and ingredient filled to perfection, every coffee blended with passion, and every order greeted with happy vibes and kindness.

I was truly taken back by this place, truly an outstanding location to get a famous NYC bagel and coffee - loads of different sweets (the berry muffin was amazing - thank you buddy, you made my day, you know who you are!)

Ladies and gentleman - come and get your bagels coffee and sweets @ grind!
I found myself looking for a quick breakfast, and it turned out to be a great choice. I went with a plain bagel with cream cheese, an everything bagel, and a lavender oat milk latte, and it totally hit the spot. The bagels tasted fresh and soft with just the right amount of chew, and the cream cheese was generous and flavorful, classic NYC bagel vibes that you actually look forward to. The lavender oat milk latte was smooth and aromatic with a nice balance of coffee strength and sweetness. The vibe inside was relaxed and welcoming with cozy seating and plants that made it feel chill even though it is near Times Square. The staff were friendly and quick with my order even when it got busy, and the quality of the coffee and baked goods made it feel worth the stop. I would definitely go back for breakfast or a laid back coffee break the next time I am in the city.
tldr; over priced, rude service, music too loud and not the cleanest sitting area

The good: the coffee tasted strong and the bagel was hot and tasted good. Got the bacon egg and cheese bagel.

The bad:
- service: the entire service experience was very unpleasant. For starters, there is not a menu with the available coffee syrup options. The cashier speedily told us the options. Now if the cashier was patient, being told the options verbally wouldn’t have been too much of an issue. But he was not patient and it was written all over his face and body language. I did not want to ask him to repeat the options again because of his visible irritation, so instead just asked if they had an option that I usually go for, which they did not. I decided then to not get a drink and he turns to co-cashier and switches language to tell him something (presumably our order) and then laughs. Immediately after we ask for half sweeteness in the latte we did order, and he turns back his coworker to repeat half sweeteness and laughs again. As someone from an immigrant back ground, I know what it looks like when someone is talking about you (negatively) in a different language.
- the atmosphere: music is a tad on the louder side. The seats are fairly comfortable. But it seems they don’t make rounds to clean up after patrons leave. There’s crumbs all over the tables and floors. There had not been patrons sitting there before we sat down, so it wasn’t that there was not an opportunity for them to clean .
- the price: $9 for an oat milk latte is on the pricier end. Especially when the syrup options given are the base flavors at any coffee shop, no variety of specialty flavors. One egg/bacon/cheese bagel (no cream cheese) with a latte is $21. Nothing spectacular about either to cost that much.

Would not come back.
The smell of freshly baked bagels lifts your spirits as soon as you enter. You're greeted by Alex and Leo as they take your order and freshly prepare your caffeine serving of choice. The cream cheese selection is a mix of traditional favorites and exotic mixes to temp your taste buds. Definitely check this breakfast nook out while you're in NYC.
This was my first time in New York, and I stopped by this coffee shop completely by chance — and I’m so glad I did! Alessandro, the barista, made me feel incredibly welcome from the moment I walked in. He was so friendly and kind, and even offered to show me around the city, which was such a lovely gesture for someone visiting for the first time.
To top it off, he gave me a free pastry as a little “welcome to New York” gift — such a small act, but it honestly made my day. The coffee is great! Highly recommend
I found GRIND on tiktok whilst searching for breakfast spots and so happy I chose this place. The service is amazing everyone is so welcoming and the coffee and food is good quality and delish! Definitely 100% recommend if you are looking for breakfast or lunch.
On our visit from the Boston area we stopped at this hip joint, Grind in Times Square. We ordered an awesome decaf iced latte (we are picky about our coffee) and it was on point! Strong and flavorful. We had a gluten free bagel with scallion cream cheese and a florentine omelette. Fresh and both did not disappoint!! We had the opportunity to meet the owner, Marcos. That made our day! He was absolutely friendly, warm and very welcoming. If you want a neighborhood experience, great coffee and tasty food - we highly recommend this spot!!
