Their soups are really good and the sandwiches are even better. Definitely check this place out. The staff is also super friendly and helpful.

I took my reiki healers child to this amazing restaurant and we got 2 TUSCAN WHITE BEAN hearty vegan soups with northern beans, spinach, carrots, celery, onions, thyme, basil, garlic and vegetable broth. We also had 2 smoothies. She had the good greens which had spirulina and I got purple protein. Very grateful for Alexander and his wife. We ate across the way in a nice eating area.

Thanks so much for the kind words! We love being a part of the Long Island City community. It's great to hear that our team made your visit here special. Looking forward to welcoming you back again for lunch at Good Neighbor Queens!
I had their Jambalaya soup today & it was excellent. I will be back for more soups in the future !
If I could give Alex and Katrina 10 stars I would. I come here almost everyday for their specially curated soup menu and coffee/tea menu. The atmosphere is top notch. Firstly, I love business owners who give back to their own community, myself being from Queens. Secondly, they are just so kind and actually take the time to get to know their customers. If you're ever in the area and see one of the following things listed on the menu, please do not hesitate to try!

Lasagna Soup
Chicken Pot Pie Soup
Jambalaya Soup
Chicken and Rice Soup
Turkey or Beef Chili
Tres Leches Iced Coffee

The list goes on, but long live Good Neighbor Queens! ❤️
So good we came twice!! We’re from Texas and we came for the First meal here and Breakfast before we left, 5 days apart and! He remembered us. Incredible customer service took the time to create a unique special experience for every customer in line. It never felt rushed. Plus, he realized he’d overcharged me and refunded the extra cost without my having to ask. Very Honorable and integrous business owner. The food!!! Incredible. The first time we grabbed the butternut squash soup, lentil chili, prosciutto pesto sandwich and the ham pickle sandwich! Heat pressed of course! So amazing! The flavors were mixed so well. The second visit we came for the breakfast sandwiches, sausage egg and cheese & bacon egg and cheese! Those didn’t miss either! I cannot recommend this place enough!! Any time we’re in NYC we’ll make a special trip over the see Alexander and his wife! Truly, Good Neighbors!
We’re visiting from DFW and we came here on our first day here because we wanted some cozy food on the chilly day and they had such good soups! We’ve thought about Good Neighbor Queens almost everyday since we got here and decided on our last morning that we would come to try breakfast! Couldn’t be more excited to get our food. The owners are SO nice and remembered us. Excellent food and top notch customer service honestly.
The photo is our sandwiches and soups the first night. I got lentil chili (amazing flavor) and Proscuitto sandwich, also so good! And my friend got butternut squash soup and the ham, Swiss pickle sandwich. All of our food was so good. We had some left overs.
It's truly delightful to find such a charming convenience store inside the Falchi Building. Despite its small size, the owner clearly put a lot of thought into the product selection, which is perfectly suited to the prime location of LIC. The menu surprise me frequently, and importantly, the taste and quality reflect the owner's discerning taste. I checked out their website and saw even more products designed in collaboration with designers. This store, so dedicated to supporting
This place is truly one of the best hidden gems in Queens. I’ve been coming here for the past ten years and they’re still serving up good FRESH eats with service that makes you feel like family. The energy reminds me of an elevated corner store from back in the day, always good music with a large variety of things to snack on. The owners’ good vibe will have you start your day off right and rushing back before they close.

It’s beautiful to experience a space that clearly has so much passion poured into it.

Definitely worth popping in and saying hi.
The woman owner is very nice, but the male co-owner was insanely rude when I asked a simple question about my smoothie. (The question: how much peanut butter is in this smoothie? Not a crazy thing to ask at all....) The woman had to step in and answer for him, because he was being so unpleasant and dismissive. How do you manage a food establishment and not know basic things about the food you're serving? For the prices they charge, I'd love to not be treated like shit. Not very good neighborly! I won't be returning. Which sucks, because I went there a lot.
I gotta share this secret spot inside the Falchi building where you can get insanely good lunch! The salads are always fresh and soups are wholesome.
Great quality food with consistency. Love the friendly service and the care they give to the orders they receive. The daily soups menu are my favorite thing about Goodneighbor. For those that work out nearby know that they make excellent protein shakes!!
I’d been meaning to write a review since having the frickin yum roast beef sandwich. Today I got a drip coffee that genuinely tasted like someone was trying to give me a really good cup of coffee - really re-kindled my coffee spirit in this watery penny pinching city.
When you come here the day after your first time because you're so amazed by the quality of the food, drinks, service. There is always a line but it's sort enough, due to quick service! Love their tuna sandwiche on rye bread! There coffees are top notch 👌 I plan on making this a usual go to place for lunch when ever I'm in NYC for work! Thanks again!!!!
A wonderful, clean, tasty natural foods shop with an array of salads, sandwiches, soup, cookies, baked goods (including empanadas), chips, snacks, and drinks. It’s a rich and fulfilling alternative to the food choices nearby. The beet/quinoa/chickpea salad is the gold standard for salads. Hearty sandwiches like chicken salad with bacon if you need to be full all day at work. Prices match the high quality and service. Friendly staff who remember their customers, and express genuine cheerfulness and business acumen. A favorite spot for faculty and staff at nearby LaGuardia, and for many other employees in the Falchi building. Walk inside and it’s one of the first places on the right.
