Gino’s in Brooklyn is an absolute 10/10! ⭐️

From the food to the atmosphere, everything was amazing and exceeded our expectations. The restaurant has such a great vibe, the service was outstanding, and you can really feel the passion and quality in every detail.

A special shoutout to Neno behind the bar — honestly one of the best bartenders I’ve experienced in a long time. Super friendly, professional, and incredibly talented. The drinks were absolutely top tier and made the whole experience even better.

This place truly stands out, and I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m in Brooklyn. Highly recommended! 🍸🔥
I can't say enough about this place.Neighborhood restaurant that always serves up great food.Great service appetizers and dinner always consistently on point.
Love this place. Been coming here since I was 9 years old. They haven’t changed much expect for updating the restaurant. The service still remains the best you can get. Everyone is super friendly and accommodating. Love the bread they put on the table with balsamic and EVOO. The calamari is delicious. Crunchy and flavorful. The baked clams are usually very good but I think I got them on an off day because mine weren’t that hot. The scallops I ordered were very tasty and had a good sear on them. Just one was slightly overcooked but the rest were fine and my wife loved the red snapper. Very fresh piece of fish. I think next time I’ll go for the pasta or veal parm.
Everyone is so welcoming and friendly! And the calamari was delicious. Friend had a cesar salad and lasagna, both amazing as well! I definitely want to try their pizza next time cause the last time I did I was 8 years old 😆
The food was FANTASTIC! Elvis our server and Nano the bartender are amazing! IF I CAN GIVE 10 STARS I would have. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Pasta Fagioli, penne with the escarole and breadcrumbs. Grilled Shrimp with risotto! Affogato too for dessert! AMAZING! THE PORTIONS ARE HUGE TOO
First time at Gino's. Took the family out for some good old Italian food. Kids approved. They particularly enjoyed the dinner rolls and chicken cutlet w/ fries. We also had the portobello salad, seafood pasta, baked chicken w/ mozzarella, and calamari. All the dishes were delicious. I liked the family restaurant vibe, felt very homey. Staff was friendly and attentive.
The restaurant is a proud supporter of our Military, First Responders & Teachers. That tells you everything you need to know about the character of this restaurant.
I was in the area and craving pasta, so I decided to check out this restaurant. I started with the fried calamari appetizer, and it was hot and crispy. I like how it's not very salty. Then I got the linguine with clam sauce and veal medallion. It tasted very good. I like the sauce on the linguine pasta. For dessert, ordered chocolate mousse and Spumoni with 3 scoops: vanilla, pistachio, and chocolate. This place is super popular so definitely make reservations if you're planning to go. The food took a while to arrive, but it was all worth it. I really enjoyed my meal here and would totally come back to try different food here.
We were seated immediately. Very nice tables and settings. Staff is very friendly and attentive to customers.

The VERY BEST part of Gino's, by far, is their amazing food. BEAUTIFULLY, deliciously prepared meals, made with very fresh, and flavorful ingredients. The most delectable pasta I've EVER had in my 72 years of life!!

This is the type of place that at the end of your meal, you're eagerly anticipating what you going to eat the NEXT time you go to Gino's.
The osso buco ravioli was way too salty for my taste, everything else is pretty good.
I love to read reviews and see real pics of food and Gino’s did not disappoint!! The food was so flavorful and I was debating between the Filet of Sole but glad I got scallops with the spinach risotto! Tasted amazing and hot out the skillet! The calamari was delightful and I splurged to do a drink and desert! Only hate half of all but the taste that day and leftovers were delicious! Will be back for the Sole! My server was delightful as well. The whole place gave me that “Nonnas” from Netflix vibe.
My experience from making a reservation, the staff, food presentation, desserts was EXCEPTIONAL! Let’s start here. THE SPECIALS. Read them. Fantastic! If they don’t spark for you, go with the signature dishes, shrimp and beans. Penne with the escarole and breadcrumbs. (If you want gluten free - TELL THEM) the grilled chicken marinade with string beans or broccoli rape. WHATEVER. THERE IS NEVER A BAD MEAL THERE. Desserts. Afogato! A MUST. Tiramisu. Beautiful. The drinks….Amazing. Thank you GINOS FAMILY!
We dropped by Gino’s with a party of five for my little brother’s birthday. I made a reservation a couple days ahead and had been looking forward to this experience. If you plan to come for dinner I recommend making a reservation as Gino’s can get pretty busy. We really enjoyed the grilled pizza, rigatoni, and chicken rollatine. The pizza with mushrooms and arugula was an amazing combo, with each flavor complementing the other. The rollatine came with an amazing sauce and loved the mushrooms. The pasta was cooked to absolute perfection.

Now for a few negatives. The veal medallions didn’t really work for me flavor wise, the medallions were a bit tough and the eggplant just didn’t work well with the sauce. The crème brûlée was too sweet, I highly recommend getting the tiramisu instead.

Overall we had an amazing experience and loved how friendly and lively the atmosphere was. I highly recommend dropping by if you are looking for a good Italian spot in Bay Ridge.
The Italian restaurant is located in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn. I have dined at with family and ordered takeout for several years. I ordered pizza and it was good. The side order of meatballs were two average size meatballs that were firm. The meatballs were very salty and disappointing. The eggplant parmigiana hero was on soft bread and was average. The whole wheat pasta with artichoke and peppers was also disappointing. Very little vegetables, the asparagus pieces were chewy and the dish was salty. I arrived to pickup my order and all this food which totalled over $50 was placed in to small shopping bags. Several loose pieces of bread were thrown in and not very tempting to eat. I drove home and the bag with my pasta was upside down and the oil dripping everywhere you could imagine. I would strongly urge the restaurant to place large orders in pizza boxes like other Italian restaurant restaurants and pizzerias. I would also suggest including some utensils and napkins for a large order or ask the customer and include this as an option when placing an online order.

Thank you for your feedback. We want to address a few points regarding your recent experience.

Firstly, it appears you ordered the whole wheat pasta with asparagus and peppers, not artichoke. We reviewed the images you posted and found that the dish contained a generous amount of vegetables, which contradicts your observation of a lack of vegetables.

Regarding the utensils, New York law requires them to be provided upon request. Your order specifically noted that no utensils were needed, which is why they were not included.

We also want to clarify that since you picked up the food yourself, we are unable to address any issues related to how the food might have spilled in your car. We strive to package our orders carefully to prevent such issues, but once the food leaves our premises, we cannot control its handling during transit.

We take pride in the quality of our products and service. We encourage you to reach out directly to us at ginos7414@gmail.com if you’d like to discuss this further.

Thank you for your understanding.
Such a lovely experience! I was walking, looking for a place to grab a quick bite, and found this restaurant. It looked so good (also, Italian food 🤌) that I decided to come inside. The music playing was so good! On a Tuesday at 12 pm it wasn't crowded. All of the staff was really nice.
I ordered a delicious peach cocktail 🍸 that was amazing, it was $14. They brought amazing and warm bread with some olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and herbs, free of charge. That might have been my favorite part. Then I ordered the meatballs (appetizer), $8. It was a pretty good serving for one person. Between that and the bread, I was full. But I decided to order some dessert. I went for the chocolate mousse ($7) and I have no regrets. So delicious! Overall, a great experience!
