I was overwhelmed at at the Georgia Diner by the service that I received from the staff and the servers. My coffee cup was never empty. My water glass was never empty. Large portions and reasonable prices. All the other staff were quite helpful and friendly. Will definitely go back there again.

Been coming here for many years and never had a bad meal. Great portions and reasonable prices. They deliver, but you have to order online. There's a discount though.

Response from the owner

We had a wonderful experience celebrating a special occasion with our family at Georgia Diner. The service was outstanding, and the food was absolutely delicious. A special thank you to Ismael, Gonzalo, John, and, of course, William for making us feel so welcome and taking such great care of us. We will definitely be coming back and look forward to our next visit!!!!!

Response from the owner

Thank you for your wonderful review! We're thrilled to hear that you had such a special celebration and enjoyed both the food and service. We truly appreciate your kind words and look forward to welcoming you and your family back again soon!

(I’ve edited this review to be more fair and realistic. While I’m still unhappy with the food served, the service was not bad.)

If you don’t like overpriced, oily and bland food then don’t go here. This food sucks. I’m here to celebrate Mother’s Day, and I want to order fettuccini Alfredo, and not only do they cover the pasta section to hide the price, but they offer the same dish as a special that’s twice the price. I get the food and it’s served in a bed of oil. That’s absolutely disgusting. Probably the worst plate of pasta I’ve ever had in my life.

After I go through that pile of mediocre pasta, they bring over my appetizer AFTER I ATE THE MAIN DISH.

Whatever new management took over this place, lower your prices, make your food better and maybe rethink your decision of serving every dish with a BED OF OIL.

Response from the owner

Thank you for your feedback, Gabriel.

We are genuinely sorry that your Mother’s Day experience did not meet your expectations. However, we would also like to clarify a few points for anyone reading this review.

Mother’s Day is one of the busiest restaurant days of the year, and for this occasion we offered a special holiday menu designed specifically for the high volume of guests. The pricing was not “double” our regular pricing, as stated. The holiday menu included multiple items within the set price, including appetizer, salad, soup, main course with sides, beverages, and dessert.

Regarding the pasta section being covered, this was done intentionally for operational efficiency during the holiday service and not to “hide” anything from guests. Our staff was available throughout service to explain the menu and pricing in full detail.

As for the food itself, we take great pride in maintaining consistent quality standards and preparing dishes the same way they have been served and enjoyed by many loyal guests over the years. Taste is subjective, of course, but describing the restaurant as “horrible everything” and comparing it to fast food does not accurately reflect the experience of the overwhelming majority of our customers, especially those who joined us successfully during a very demanding holiday service.

We do acknowledge that your appetizer arriving late should not have happened, and for that we sincerely apologize. That is constructive feedback we take seriously and will address internally with our team.

We respect every guest’s opinion, but we also believe reviews should remain fair, factual, and proportionate. We wish you and your family the best and appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.

Georgia Diner
Management Team
always past by in my commute and glad i stopped by! burger was tasty, staff was friendly and they had a large display of desserts i was eager to try. my partner liked their strawberry shortcake although the double fudge tasted a bit too much like pudding. everything still tasted fresh and seasoned well, wish i chose a different dessert to end the night off tho! may give it another try :)

Response from the owner

Thank you for stopping by and sharing such thoughtful feedback! We’re really glad you enjoyed the burger and the friendly service, and it’s great to hear your partner liked the strawberry shortcake as well. We appreciate your notes on the desserts too, and we hope next time we can help you end the night on an even sweeter note!

A very nice place for breakfast, the food is delicious, the coffee is top-notch (I love the free refills!), the pancakes are amazing, and our waiter Jay is super friendly and welcoming, with great energy and excellent service. He's served us several times and is always charismatic and has a positive attitude. 10/10 the prices are very affordable.

I've been a regular at Georgia Diner for years, ever since they moved to their new location. I've come in a few times, but not as often as I'd like because of my busy schedule. Now that I have more free time, I come in with my family more often. We absolute adore John 🤗, the manager. He greets us with such professionalism and a warm smile, and Komal, who works at the front booth, is always there to greet us with a beautiful smile 😊and a sense of humor. Jas, our waiter, is also great. He greets us with his signature smile☺️ and professionalism, 👌which makes our meals even more enjoyable😋 We love the food, the deserts, and everything else at Georgia Diner. When we plan to visit, we can't wait to see these lovely folks again.😉

Response from the owner

Thank you for your wonderful feedback! We’re thrilled that you enjoy your visits with us and hope to see you again very soon for another great meal.

Nothing wrong with this diner. There’s a large variety of average food. Good place to get breakfast and to accommodate large crowds. The staff is very nice. We came last minute for a birthday celebration because the other place had a reserved party. There’s plenty of parking.

Response from the owner

Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful review! We're truly happy to hear that you chose to celebrate a birthday with us and that our staff, parking, and breakfast offerings made for a positive experience.

We're also glad we could accommodate your group last minute—we know how important those spontaneous moments are, and we're honored to have been part of the celebration.

We look forward to welcoming you back, whether for another birthday, a breakfast visit, or just a relaxing meal.

Warmly,
The Georgia Diner Team 🎂🍳

A food companion suggested we check out Georgia Diner since it was nearby our destination. I ordered the corned beef hash with two sunny side up eggs as it is my bench mark meal to order at a diner I have never been to. As suspected, it was prepared in the typical diner way and satisfied my morning hunger. The coffee was solid too, as you really can’t go wrong with diner coffee.

What unexpectedly stole the show was the doily under the coffee cup. Easily the nicest, highest quality doily I’ve ever seen. It was such a small touch, but it really stood out.

The ambiance was casual and relaxed, and the service was friendly and efficient. If you’re in the area and looking for a dependable, no-frills diner, Georgia Diner delivers.

Always love discovering a new diner and in this case it’s a new diner that is over 40 years of histroy slinging out everything from breakfast, staples to innovative, high-end dinner, dishes, and everything in between.

Tried their famous breakfast on a weekday and was not disappointed. Everything from the Benedict to the breakfast burger, and even the freshness of the coffee in that old-school diner vibe was perfect

I wish there was a 3.5 rating available. As a veteran of MANY diners, this one was unremarkable. That does not mean bad, but not acceptional in any way. The good: I went looking for a place to eat that had a parking lot. Georgia Diner has a BIG ONE. This eatery is old and shows it inside and out. As a matter of fact, once I started walking from my car, I had second thoughts about eating there. It looks old and minimally maintained to me. Inside, it is deceptively large. On a diet, I only glanced at the deserts up front. Typical Diner choices. Ordered and pictured was a grilled chicken salad and the Greek gyro without the white sauce. The salad got rave reviews from my friend. The chicken breast was cooked well and juicy. My gyro actually concerned me a little bit. The lettuce and tomatoes looked not spoiled but not the freshest either. The gyro meat had strange light colored circles in it. I know the meat is processed, but I had never seen it look so unappealing before. Whatever it was, it was not bad but not great either. As I looked at other meals being delivered, they all seemed large and well adorned. The service was adequate. Nice enough lady and no gaps in service.
The bathroom was not dirty but not fresh. The floor was sticky like the last show at a movie theater. This really turned me off. The two meals were a modest $35, which these you get what you pay for I recon. I certainly would not rush back there myself. Your mileage may vary...

Georgia Diner is a classic diner that serves classic specials and dishes and has the same old-timey diner feel, but quite frankly, doesn’t hold up to the expectations of a good diner.

The food was honestly just average, and considering the price, I’m tempted to say that it wasn’t really worth it. I ordered the corned beef hash and eggs, which comes with toast and potatoes, and it was honestly not that great. It was average-tasting hash that you can get from a can, and the potatoes on the side were slightly undercooked. for the price of 18$, it wasn’t that great. The rest of my table’s dishes were just average, but considering the price, it brings the rating down a bit.

The service was decent, and our waiter/busboy were attentive enough, but nothing too out of the ordinary. I will complain though, that an 18% tip was automatically added to our bill. Perhaps it was because I had a large party, but that certainly was unexpected as no one and nothing on the menu mentioned that.

The atmosphere was decent, having that classic diner feel. the bathrooms weren’t that clean, but there was nothing too bad. On a positive note, there were cookies at the register which really brought me back to other classic diners.

One final complaint is that there are two separate prices for cash and credit, with the credit being higher. If you do come, try to bring some cash.

overall, Georgia Diner is decent but nothing stands out too much, and my complaints of the pricing, food, and tip put my rating lower. Not the worst diner I’ve been to, but not the best either.
