I remember passing by this restaurant for many years saying I had to go there one day, so when my friend she was in town and suggested we go get a meal at footprint I was excited to go. Wow menu looks you want to order 1 of everything including the drinks and desserts. My friend suggested the salmon and restaurant pasta I agreed the salmon was spicy but I did not mind and it went well with the resta pasta and I nice cold glass of ginger beer with a slice of their carrot cake will definitely make a a regular to make up for all those years that I kept promising to come in. The staff was friendly and funny making you feel like a good friend. The place including the bathroom was clean. With that level of service I would highly recommend this place to everyone and would definitely be back.

Very good foods. Love the comfort soup and must get it every Wednesday. Besides, Shandice, Chantelle, and Elsa are very nice to customers.

Great job done...

Ete
Customer service is always a pleasure. We get good laughs and tasty food. Great experience due to their hospitality by Jaheim. Always going over and beyond. 🙂
Customer service was great shoutout to tahj and Jaheim they were so helpful last night getting my food fast and shoutout to the lady in the back
I had a great experience with my takeout order. The customer service was excellent—they kept me informed the entire time about how long my order would take, which I really appreciated. Jaheim was especially helpful and had such a positive attitude, making the whole process smooth and pleasant. Definitely a great experience overall!
My food, which I had to take to go because it was too cold (like they were saving on the heating bill), wasn't okay in my opinion. We all tossed the rice because it was gritty or somwthing....I don't know. It just wasn't good... and tried to eat the fish which was seasoned with just the sea water. Because the fish you can smell through the bag like it just jumped out the sea into the bag and then when you go to eat it it was like I was putting salt in my mouth with every bite.

I looked forward to a great meal when I drove allll the way to New York. Drove home to MD with a stomach ache.

Won't be coming back. But atleast the staff wasn't like the food.

I felt like I wasted my money though. I'm not writing this in hopes to see yall survive and ve more mindful and consistent. Maybe stick to the foods yall know yall don't mess up. And give us some heT...ppl shouldnt have to go eat in the car during a snow storm.... i saw the 3 people eating in there in coats and hats..... not nice.
Good luck and Stay blessed!
The quality of this restaurant has noticeably declined over the past few months, but my most recent experience was by far the worst.

On Friday, January 16th, I ordered oxtail along with codfish cakes, chicken spring rolls, and the spring roll sampler. I ate the codfish cakes and a small portion of the oxtail, and within a few hours I began experiencing severe stomach cramps and bloating. This quickly progressed into nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. It became clear that I had food poisoning.

I don’t know how long the oxtail had been sitting out or whether it was held at a safe temperature, but this was one of the worst cases of food poisoning I’ve ever experienced. I was extremely lethargic and, three days later, I am still recovering. It’s alarming to think that food may be cooked ahead of time and left sitting out for extended periods without proper temperature control.

This isn’t the first disappointing experience I’ve had here. A few weeks ago, I ordered white rice and curry goat in person, and it was the worst curry goat I’ve ever had. The meat was poorly seasoned, tough, undercooked, and not tender at all. It looked as though curry seasoning had simply been sprinkled on rather than properly cooked into the dish.

Between the poor food quality and this recent food poisoning incident, I am extremely disappointed. I will not be ordering from this restaurant again, and I feel it’s important to warn others who may be considering ordering from here.
Update: After 7pm the curry chicken is saltier than your ex watching you move on without them.. this is the case more often than not. The wait can be excessive too.

For me, my score went from ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ to⭐️⭐️

Footprints Express is a great place to grab a bite. They offer a variety of menu specials to help you save money. The prices are reasonable, and the food is usually ok. The staff is friendly and attentive, even though it can get busy inside. There’s usually enough seating to avoid feeling cramped. The restaurant is always busy with delivery drivers, so the food is always moving. The only downside is that I’ve had issues with delivery orders. Overall, Footprints Express is a pretty decent chain. They have vegetarian options, so if you’re in the area, stop in and grab something to eat.
Disappointed. I order from this place frequently. Large orders. Big tips. Last time I ordered 2 large oxtail. 1 oxtail only had bones. One order was just bones. Oxtail buyer beware. I’m a white guy from bay parkway, wish I knew of better places LOL
This is my second time to visit this site. But my first time dining in. The atmosphere was pleasantly quiet. It appeared clean, too. However, there were times that I had to swat away flies (because the door was left opened).

I enjoyed the foods up until I reached near the bottom of the aluminum pan. There was a lot of gravy from the oxtail. It was too much. Normally that doesn't happen. But the foods were hot, fresh and delicious. And the mac pie was a bit burnt. Overall, I gave a rate of four stars because the flies were a nuisance.
Took an impromptu trip here today as the original location at one point in time was my favorite place. I really wish I kept it as a distant but pleasant memory. This service was so horrible. The cashier acted as if he was doing me a favor by taking my order. When you walk inside, all of the lights are off you don’t even know if the restaurant is open or closed. Prices are not reasonable. Nor was the food good which was so disappointing. In the past I absolutely loved the food. The quality has definitely gone down.
The food was amazing. It was the right temperature and taste. It's been a while since I last ordered food from this location, and they didn't let me down. I really enjoyed my food.
I haven't eaten footprints in years because the quality is not good. I was
Craving some salmon and footprint was one of place that had it for a reasonable price. I decided to order from footprints because they had bread fruit. I got brown stewed salmon. It tasted like it was fried and they just throw the stew on it. It was also to salty. I really was not expecting the cabbage and the one plantain with the bread fruit. I would have preferred several pieces of braidfruit. I also expected the breadfruit to be crunchy like in a chip's form. But it was not so I just had to throw it back in my air fryer. I was scared to order from footprints and I was right.I will go back to staying away from them. It came quickly with ubereats to.
Two Major issue, the curry was salted and the jerk very black, burnt, the roti was warm in the microwave as you began eating the rest of it becomes stiff. The other is individuals ordering inside can be waiting for more than an hour. Perhaps the support of many has cause the owner not improve the wait on the food. My suggestion to the owner improve the waiting time for customers coming in by having two of your chef and server deal with those customers and the other three to four chef deal with the online. Yes you’re making the money but it would be very welcoming by customers if you do something to improve service. Your customers has rallied with you for number of years. I have been here more than 20 mins the people I met here has not been served or collected their food and over 20 uber meals have taken up their food. For my friend I brought here the meal was unpleasant and long wait made her not wanting to return
I recommend Footprints because it odd by day one of the most consistent Caribbean restaurants I’ve been to in NYC.
The food is good and the variety of options is so huge; they cater to every single person and all diets you could think of. I’ve never seen such good food at such affordable prices either.
I’ve shopped there several times (I’m sure you can tell by the amount of pictures) and will continue to buy with them.
Each location has a unique feel of its own so you don’t get the feeling like “seen one seen them all”.
