Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse

I took my husband here for his birthday with our kids a newborn and 6 year old, I was very anxious dinning with kids would be hard but our waiter/host Stephen was the most down to earth person and made sure our experience was worth the trip. All of the servers were exceptional as well so professional and friendly people, we were very comfortable with the environment. My kids had a great time, so did we. Stephen was an excellent host, we were planning to get dessert after dinner at the market next door but, Stephen recommended we try the cheesecake or chocolate molten cake of course we choose the chocolate cake. It was delicious!! We hope to see him again on our next visit. Definitely worth every minute here especially being it our first time as well.

The ambiance at Fogo de Chão is truly classy, creating the perfect setting for a memorable dining experience. The staff are amazing—attentive, warm, and genuinely dedicated to making sure we were well taken care of throughout our visit. Whenever we travel, we always try to make Fogo part of our plans, and this visit reminded us why. A special shoutout to Kyen, Everaldo, and to the guest services staff for going above and beyond—their hospitality made our experience even more exceptional. Everything from start to finish was outstanding. We’re already looking forward to coming back the next time we’re in Brooklyn! ❤️🫶

Our first Brunch with them Amazing service. The servers were on point Especially Juan: great personality,told him specifically what meats I want and was given correct so happy. Matt, another server, did wonderfully. Flor wonderful service with a smile. Our waiter Karam was great at taking our brunch orders. Dominique the floor manager was lovely to help us with a bit more service. Thank you so much Fogo De Chão for a truly enjoyable experience.

This place is the definition of 5-star dining. Felt like a feast as we were indulged like kings. We started with the never ending happy hour expertly crafted drink specials and wine.<br><br>When we first were sat, our helpful primary server Rogerio was super helpful reminding my friend and I about with the rules of the meal (which didn’t really get enforced thankfully): two sided card: red (STOP the food), green (MORE FOOD).<br><br>After my friend and I put the drink and churrascao (endless meats and other treats special, yes endless) orders in, we grabbed some delicious items from the self serve section with salads and grilled vegetables and sides.<br><br>But the real star at Fogo is the countless staff who just hover around and come by your table like little helpful meat fairies. Serving the most delicious, flavorful, all you can eat bites of proteins of all types - beef, lamb, chicken and every which steak in the book to little nibbles of other types.<br><br>Didn’t order dessert but I consider the baked cheese with honey dish a sweet treat and we also got grilled pineapple. The server Rogerio refused to let us leave without trying the most interesting peppers that were somehow spicy but still sweet.<br><br>Another absolute treat and an example of the phenomenal service you get at Fogo. The only must is you show up hungry and willing to eat. Thank you so much team for the experience. I don’t know how you’re making money delivering the quality for the prices you’re asking. Almost felt like stealing. I will most definitely be back before another show at the Paramount down the street.

I was on vacation and hitting the gym all week. So, I decided to treat myself to a nice lunch. I dropped my dogs off at the groomers and headed downtown to Fogo de Chao. It is less than a 15 min drive from the groomers. This was my first visit, and I was impressed. I was not expecting to have Fogo de Chao in Brooklyn. The restaurant was across the street from LIU, so I was familiar with the area. It was located in Albee Square Mall, and I have not been in the Mall in years, despite graduating from LIU. The atmosphere was lively yet comfortable, perfect for a business, or casual meeting, especially if you enjoy Brazilian cuisine and a vibrant setting.<br>The decor was beautiful for a chain restaurant in a Mall. The traditional Brazilian music was fantastic. After a few sips of my caipirinha, I almost Samba to the salad bar. The salad bar was impressive, with fresh, colorful options. The food and drinks were terrific. I had the whole Churrasco experience. It tasted the same as the one in Manhattan. Sometimes, with a chain restaurant, in different locations, the food and or beverages are different, not here. I did not miss being in the Fogo de Chao in Manhattan. The service was excellent too. I ordered takeout to bring home with a dessert because I ran out of time.The groomers called me just as I was enjoying my meal. Those guys had my dogs ready in 2 hrs. I arrived late for my reservation because of traffic and searching for parking. I ended up parking near the Brooklyn Hospital and spent $30 for 2 hrs. Planning for parking can save you stress and money.<br>I spent $136 on my meal and takeout, including tip.<br><br>Update: 2nd visit, I took the train, and save money on parking. I have reward points and got a free lobster tail. Also, I was serve polenta fries. I haven't had polenta fries in a long time. It was just how my mom used to make it..:)

I literally love it here. I come here at least once a week sometimes I come to work a lot of times I have meetings here with my clients and every time it’s always an amazing experience. The staff is friendly and the food is amazing. The service is top-tier. The ambience is second to none, when you factor in g, the value, the location and the amazing service as well. I’m here at least 6 to 8 times a month however today Juliana was my server and she was amazing. She knew the menu very well. She gave us great recommendations and she was very present and accommodating.

Fogo de Chão was absolutely delightful! It felt like a true feast the servers kept coming out with an incredible variety of meats, each one seasoned perfectly and cooked to perfection. The décor is stunning, elegant, and vibrant, and the whole atmosphere feels first-class.<br><br>I also loved the open market table with all the fresh fruits, salads, and sides, plus the top-shelf full bar that really completes the experience. From the food to the service, everything was on point. Definitely a must-visit when you want a luxurious dining experience!

was the best birthday experience ever! Hector was an AMAZING waiter. gave me the best recommendation on wine. made us very comfortable. food was superb! one meat was very tough but that was one of many. i can’t wait to come here again!

Skyler is theee absolute best.. Her energy is through the roof… She heated up our appetizers despite it being a cold dish.. Always at our table making sure we were good.. Our first experience here and it was truly amazing.. Thank you so much it was my honey’s birthday and he was ecstatic ..

I dined at Fogo De Chao in Brooklyn the day after Valentine’s Day, and the experience was phenomenal. The food was incredible and the ambiance was top-tier — but what truly made the night unforgettable was our waiter, Amil.<br><br>He went far beyond standard service. His menu and drink suggestions were thoughtful and creative, he offered samples, shared funny stories without ever being intrusive, and made us feel genuinely taken care of. You could tell he was thinking ahead and moving with intention.<br><br>What makes it even more impressive? He had worked a long Valentine’s shift the day before — likely 16 hours — and still showed up with full energy and a great attitude.<br><br>Service like that deserves recognition. I spent $400 and gladly tipped $100 — and honestly, I wish I could’ve given more. Amil is a rare kind of hospitality professional. Give that man a raise.

***This review is solely based on my first experience***<br>At the onset I feel the entrance needs to be moved, you walk in directly on people's dinning experience because there are tables right at the door.<br>Next, our service was very poor. Our server was extremely unattentive. We waited for water then had to call him to us to order drinks and appetizers. Most items are shareable but we didn't get the costumary two plates until the last appetizer. At the time of him dropping off the plates and appetizers, we asked to order a salmon dinner...And then he was gone...we didn't see him again until we saw him walking out with his backpack. We waited 45 mins the salmon never came, no one cleared our table and when they did we discovered the order was never placed for our dinner.<br>Lastly, my drink, I ordered an espresso martini. When it arrived it didn't taste correct so I asked to add Baileys to it...an up charge. When a server finally came to us again after that long wait he told me "oh I see you added Baileys since there isn't any coffee liquor" 👀 Excuse me? It's an espresso martini, the coffee liquor is essential. How do you make it and not share with the customer you are missing a key ingredient?<br>Nevertheless, my partner and I decided we will give it another try but from the bar...

We’ve visited multiple times for the buffet, which is always amazing, but this was our first time trying the bar menu. The prices are incredibly reasonable, and the food was excellent—especially the burger. On top of that, we received the same outstanding level of service we’re used to from the buffet. Skylar and Hector took great care of us today. We’ll definitely be coming back!

All day happy Hour is always a hit! The food is amazing 10/10! There are things on the happy hour menu that you won’t find when dining. Jack the bartender is amazing, second time we came back he remember us and our drink preference which I shocked about! He’s always nice, goes above and beyond and does amazing service! Definitely a great spot for a good time 🥂

Went there for my birthday celebration for the first time after hearing so many great things from friends, and it truly lived up to the hype. Every dish was amazing, I honestly can’t even remember all the names because I was too busy enjoying the whole experience. The server (the older gentleman) was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful which made the night even better. I’ll definitely be coming back again for my next special occasion

One of the best happy hours in Brooklyn! The staff is very friendly. the place is bright and and very inviting.<br><br>they give you large portions off the happy hour menu. the food is very fresh.<br><br>The Brazilian caipiranha was very well made. deliciously sweet! it's definitely worth stopping in there for the happy hour. the bar was packed with the lunch time crew.
