Really excellent oysters (“virginia girlfriend” or some name like that, hadnt had them before) and I enjoyed their beef au jus sandwich as well. I think it had slightly too much cheese on it making it a little unwieldy but other than that it was good. The au jus was on the lighter side than what im used to but it still worked well with the sandwich.

My wife liked her chicken sandwich.

They have a really good ipa on tap (threes brewing) and I liked their chilled red wine as well.

Tons of outdoor seating but we opted to sit inside.

Overall a solid spot and I’ll look forward to coming back again.

Really good vibe here but server seems really inadvertent, maybe they are just too busy. My friend ordered a cheeseburger wiz fries. She asked for medium but it came on table with really raw meat. We talked to the server they changed for us. I ordered the scrambled eggs but it tasted just ok.
Came here twice; once for cocktails at night, and then for breakfast.

Cocktails are tasty and bartender was friendly and helpful.

Those pancakes were shared by two people and we still left 1/4 on the plate. Dense and delicious! Cinnamon sugar butter was a nice touch.

Would return for any meal!!
I had lunch at Five Leaves and it was a really lovely experience. The place has a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a laid-back meal.

We chose to sit at the outdoor tables and, thanks to a beautiful sunny day, it made everything even more enjoyable. The vibe is lively yet cozy—very much a classic New York spot.

I had the sage scrambled eggs sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious: soft, flavorful scrambled eggs with well-balanced ingredients and perfectly toasted bread. A simple dish, but done really well.

The staff was very friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better.

In conclusion: a great spot for lunch in New York, with excellent food, a relaxed atmosphere, and warm service. Highly recommended! ⭐️
Great restaurant. The burger is always excellent, and the housemade ricotta is delicious. The staff are always kind and lovely. I always enjoy coming back.
The food at Five Leaves is excellent — always fresh and very tasty. I’ve been here multiple times and the kitchen never disappoints.

Unfortunately, the service — specifically the host staff — is the one downside. Today (Sunday), as usual, the place was busy. I managed to get a seat at the bar, placed my order, and stepped away briefly to use the restroom. When I came back, my seat had already been given to someone else.

What was even more frustrating is that there were empty tables available, but I was told they were “reserved,” so I couldn’t sit there either. In the end, my order was canceled.

Great food, but situations like this really affect the overall experience.
Loved this brunch place. We had the ricotta pancakes, one of the best I ever had. And also the chicken sandwich with fries, wow it was so good. We could sit outside in the sun, which was beautiful! Definitely coming back!
The atmosphere was cozy, and the service was friendly. We got the pancake for our table (5 people) and it was more than enough plus our individual orders. Chicken blt wasn’t amazing but was good. Cappuccino was great
The server/ host with long gray hair said we couldn’t sit at a table due to not having a reservation so we sat at the bar. We noticed that there were at least two open tables the entire time we were there. We waited a long time for menus and for someone to ask for our drink orders. I asked for a menu due to waiting so long time and was told by the same person as before that the bartender would handle us. The bartender didn’t show up for the first 30 mins were seated. When a different server finally took our order, she rushed us and asked if we wanted her to come back when we were ready to order but it was like a 30 second pause in ordering so not long at all. The space was very cramped and hard to feel comfortable in. People kept bumping into me while I was eating. The food was good although nothing super special and between the negative vibe from the servers and the tight space, the experience was very poor.
The food was decent, just enough to give a 4. But overall it was extremely slow service, and they did not handle the orders well. Forgetful and very delayed courses. I waited over 45 minutes for one course to the next. That definitely ruined the experience for me but I won’t go as far as to give 3 stars being that there was no rudeness or any attitude problems with the staff. Simply just slow and forgetful service. The burger was assembled in a way where the ingredients will slip out which you can’t even enjoy the experience, but flavor wise it was good. The best thing to me surprisingly was the chicken sandwich. Great flavor, texture, and not super messy to eat. The pancakes were mid I didn’t like the overly runny yet grainy texture. Not inedible or anything, I just expected a lot better flavor and texture from it. Overall the chicken sandwich itself and the quality of food just gets them to a 4 star for me. If it was out of 10 I’d give this spot a 7 really to be fair. But yea try it out yourself and maybe your experience will be better who knows.
Such a great spot! The ricotta pancakes were amazingly fluffy and just sweet enough. The crispy chicken sandwich and fries totally hit the spot. Staff was nice even though it was packed, and the outdoor seating’s perfect for a sunny day.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Five Leaves never disappoints! The Moroccan Scramble was bursting with flavor—perfectly spiced, hearty, and balanced in every bite. Pairing that with their Ricotta Pancakes was absolute magic. The pancakes were light, fluffy, and indulgent, with just the right touch of sweetness—truly next level.

The vibe is classic Five Leaves: lively, stylish, and welcoming, with a menu that always manages to impress. If you’re in the area, this spot is a must for both comfort and creativity
Fries was so good and the watermelon in the watermelon salad was very ripe.

Burgers were gigantic and hard to eat.

Service was super super slow though.

Lots of out door seating all in the shade.
Went for my friends birthday brunch and we had a reservation for 6. Honestly have nothing bad to say about this place! It is quite small so make sure to make a reservation if you don’t want to wait long! Service is great everyone was so kind. Food was amazing! They have great breakfast options until 3 and then a fabulous dinner menu! Probably the best margaritas I’ve ever had to be honest! Would definitely go again!
The food share was huge and we loved the taste and texture! Highly recommend Spicy Chicken Sandwich (not that spicy). Pancake was good too. The coffee tastes awesome and reminded me of the Denmark brunch coffee. This is a popular place. Would recommend making a reservation ahead. Will visit back in future.
