DELICIOUS, quality ingredients. Crust was fantastic, even the next day after a light toast. Ordered the Roni Cup and the Broken Burrata pies to go. Ready in about 20 minutes. Fresh basil on the side so you can pinch off as little or as much as you want. My new go-to place for pizza in the W. Village...and without the long lines and wait!

Came here for the first time last night around 8:30 and I’m still thinking about this pizza today. The staff was super friendly from the moment we walked in and you can tell they really care about what they’re serving. The pizza was absolutely incredible. What made it stand out for me was the way they finish it off right before boxing it up,freshly grated parmesan, fresh basil, and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. That little detail made such a huge difference and gave it that authentic old school Italian pizza feel. The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside but still soft and airy inside. The sauce had the perfect balance and tasted fresh, not overly sweet or heavy. I was honestly surprised that even without an overload of cheese, the cheese pull was insane. That’s when you know the ingredients are high quality. I also got a Sicilian slice and they treated even a single slice with the same attention fresh parm grated right on top with olive oil to finish it. That was next level to me because most places don’t care that much about single slices. Everything tasted fresh, high quality, and made with care. Easily one of the best pizza spots I’ve had in NYC. If you haven’t tried Fermento yet, you’re seriously missing out. 10/10 across the board.

My thoughts as a non-foodie:<br>On a Saturday evening when all the pizza joints in the area were a 30 min to hour long wait, Fermento came through on the quieter side of the village. The service was quick and thorough. I ordered the spicy vodka roni cup and it was perfectly crispy and served with a healthy amount of vodka sauce, finely grated fresh parm, and a basil leaf. As someone who believes every additional minute of waiting for a slice detracts from the experience, I found this spot to be the perfect place for a casual slice and a strong competitor to the other pizza joints in the area.

As a fermentation nerd myself, I simply had to try this spot! Fresh off a trip to the Vegas Pizza expo where these guys won best regional cheese slice in the northeast (trust me, no easy feat!), Michele and his team have really created some fire 🔥 NY style pies! Balancing expert fermentation with curated ingredients creates a light crispy no nonsense pie that's easy on the gut, east on the eyes, and tastes phenomenal! Bravo Michele & team!

My boyfriend and I got the the special and he also got the vodka. Totally regretting not getting my own slice; we were fighting over who got the last piece!<br><br>Incredibly tasty and airy pizza with an incredible crunch. I love it because it’s not too heavy on the stomach, so I definitely could eat a whole pie myself.<br><br>Can’t wait to try all the other slices!

Perfect small pizza shop for a quick drop in. the pizza is honestly one of the best in NYC and I’ve tried as many pizza spots as I possibly could have done. Mike is extremely nice and the quality of the fermented dough pizza is extraordinary. the slices are far more filling without feeling heavy! would absolutely recommend this spot if you haven’t tried already.

Best NY pizza from a new spot! Not saying it's better than all the others that are also good but this place is worth a stop. You don't go to only one pizza place when in NY, you go to a new one every day!

One of the best pizzas in the city! Dough is light, stretchy, and crisp, while the sauce is fresh and flavorful. The spicy vodka roni cup was incredibly light despite the thick crust. Staff are incredibly kind and helpful as well. Glad we stopped in for a weekday dinner!

Amazing new slice shop in the West Village. Thin, crispy and flavorful, like a good slice should be. Very unique options too. For the quality, very good pricing. My new go to.

This place just opened and wanted to give it a try. Best pizza I’ve had in a while! Folded pizza approved. The crust was light, airy and crunchy. I got a pepperoni slice, made with cupped pepperoni, I was told by Armond who works there, he was so sweet and explained everything I asked about the place and pizza. I also got the Sicilian pizza, baked first, then they put mozzarella on and then add sauce. That was delicious! Not dense at all, light airy and crispy crusted bottom. They add fresh oil, sprinkle of fresh grated Parmesan cheese, and fresh basil on each slice. So good! The place is clean and inviting. Will be back!

The pizza was incredible, with a perfect crust and delicious toppings. You can really taste the quality. The staff was extremely friendly and made us feel right at home. A fantastic spot all around, highly recommended! 😊
