I ordered a strawberry matcha latte and literally just got milk with strawberry puree? $7.57 just to get milk feels unfair. Very disappointed! I wish I could’ve come back to the store to make the claim but I was unfortunately on a hurry and it started raining.

Nice place but the lady works there she's rude and doesn't have a customer service takw to long to take the order and do mistake about the order this what make business go down big time ! I own business too but i won't accept employees like her
I really like this place , clean , nice music & friendly staff. It was my first time and the store caught my eye. The new employee was super friendly as she recommended me an S&B glow smoothie O M G DELICIOUS!. I have to try their Acai Bowls next !!!
I’ve been coming to this location regularly for over a year and have ordered açaí here at least 10 times. I always ask for double condensed milk, and it has consistently been served both on the bottom and on top — which is exactly why I continue to pay extra for it.

Today, I was told they “only put it on top,” even though I was still being charged for double. When I explained that this has never been an issue before, the response felt dismissive and inconsistent with how they’ve handled my order every other time.

If the policy has changed, that’s fine — but it should be clearly communicated and reflected in pricing. Charging for double while reducing what’s actually provided feels misleading and unprofessional.

Very disappointing experience from a place I’ve otherwise enjoyed and supported. I hope management clarifies this so future customers don’t run into the same issue.
Awesome service! Great tasting bowls and yummy chai latte! Nabilla was so sweet! Definitely coming back!😍
I tried to visit this location at 12pm on a Friday. It was closed (even though a sign said open) and mail was under the door. An uber eats driver showed up too and we couldn’t get in. All lights were on, no one there and shelves empty. I understand it’s winter and they expect less people, but my boyfriend was in the hospital nearby and wanted a smoothie. At least mark your store as closed if you can’t staff it.
Ordered Uber Eats here buy one get one. It was made perfectly, exactly how I wanted it. The portion size is great. The presentation was surprisingly very nice as you can see. The fruit was fresh and the açaí base was delicious. I also had milk powder and cocoa nibs which took everything to another level. Prices are a bit high, around 22 bucks in total with all the fees but it’s worth it when you get the BOGO deal. Very authentic, flavors brought me back to Brazil. I love the bag it comes with, very nice quality and design. Highly recommended!
Hi there!

I’m a frequent costumer of Oak Berry and I’ve been having experiences when early in the morning.

Most of the times the POS system is not ready and can’t process the payment, therefore, the systems needs to be restarted. And some times that takes up to 10 min and it depends who is working, some employees are more savvy than others. But this issue is almost every morning. They suggest to pay with cash but that is not the point.

Also, late openings. For example on 10/27/25 it was 8:10 am and no one was there, store closed and all. I placed an order for pick up to avoid exactly the above with the POS system. I left frustrated as one: my window to walk home and be ready for work, is very short and it takes me 15-20 min to walk back

Second: call the store phone number to let them know that I placed an order and could not pick up because the store was close, no one picks up.

And lastly, hearing for the morning shift how the closing shift does not leave things ready, is not ok. Consumers don’t need to know those details.

So today, I just simply had it.

I understand NYC public transportation sometimes is not reliable. Maybe make the openers come a lil earlier ? Idk.
Overpriced with a rude and entitled staff. They act like them doing their job is doing you a favor. For $20+ for a smoothie, they should be treating the customers like royalty.

Save your money. There’s plenty of better places in Astoria than this dump.

I ordered an Oak size (24 oz.) acai smoothie with add-in toppings. The employee Arielys refused to accommodate my requests even after I stated I was willing to pay extra for any additional add-ins. When I asked for the manager's contact information, Arielys acted deliberately obtuse, saying, "There's a lot of managers so I don't know." When I asked for her name, she said her name was Amine B (name listed on the receipt). Amine B is a male employee as I've spoken to him on a different store visit. When I asked Arielys why she provided another employee's name instead of her own, she replied, "My name is Arielys but it doesn't matter what name I give you because they (management) are gonna check the time on the receipt anyway." After waiting over 15 minutes for my one smoothie, Arielys gave me an overfilled smoothie that leaked and spilled on me and the counter. I asked Arielys why she would hand me a drink this way, and she replied, "Well you said you wanted extra coconut milk so there you go. It's extra." Arielys did not offer a new cup or assistance with the drink she spilled on me. I had to ask for paper towels and a new cup. During other visits to this troe, employees may offer to provide smoothie leftovers in a separate cup. Arielys never offered such a choice and instead intentionally overfilled the cup and allowed the drink to spill on me and the counter. When I called the store the following day, Amine B answered the phone and informed me that the store manager was not available and advised to call back later. Five minutes later, I get a call from the store and a female voice was speaking. I immediately recognized the voice to be Arielys. Arielys said, "Hi, you called to speak to a manager?" I replied, "Yes, who is calling?" Arielys said, "This is a team member." I stated, "Yes, but what is your name? You called me." Arielys said, "I do not have to provide my name to you. I'm calling because you spoke to my co-worker and he said you wanted to speak to the manager." I asked, "Are you a manager?" Arielys said, "No." I asked, "Well what is your name so I know who returned my call today?" Arielys raised her voice and said, "I don't have to give you my name. I'm trying to help you and you keep asking me for my name." Her behavior was alarming, especially considering that I have not had any issues with other employees at this location when I've visited this store. Arielys then proceeded to hang up the call before I could reply.

I think at this point I MUST LEAVE A REVIEW!
Lately I’ve been craving an açaí bowl and I just couldn’t find smth in Astoria, that would satisfy me at a 💯. And suddenly OAKBERRY AÇAÍ pops up on Uber eats. Idk if it’s a new spot, but I haven’t seen them before. I’ve ordered and omg, the flavors, the packaging, the customer service (on a third day of me ordering I’ve received a lovely message thanking me for becoming a loyal customer) everything is on top! Thank you very much guys! My only wish for you is to open an option on Uber eats for additional toppings! I always like some extra peanut butter on top and I would happily do adds on. On picture you see my own peanut butter. Thank you ☺️
Response from the owner
Thank you so much for your incredible review! We're thrilled to hear that Oakberry Açaí has become your go-to for satisfying your cravings. Your kind words about our flavors, packaging, and service mean the world to us. We also appreciate your feedback about adding more topping options on Uber Eats—peanut butter is always a great choice! We’ll definitely work on it. Looking forward to serving you again soon 💜
I think this is going to be one of my favorite places in Queens to eat açaí. They have several bowl options or you can create your own. The price is similar to most places I've eaten açaí so it doesn't seem expensive to me. The açaí that comes out of an ice cream machine is 100% frozen so it will take time for it to become more liquid. I think the place needs a table so people can stay and eat their açaí. You don't just want to eat something but somewhere to sit and enjoy it. The person who helped me was very kind and helped me create my bowl.
Response from the owner
Thank you for your wonderful feedback! We're delighted to hear that we're becoming one of your favorite places in Queens for açaí. It's great that you enjoyed our bowl options and found our pricing reasonable. We appreciate your suggestion about adding tables for seating and will definitely take it into consideration to enhance our customers' experience. We're also glad our team was kind and helpful in creating your bowl. We look forward to serving you again soon!
Pricey but fun! Great service. Portions are packed tight and the cost of these little superfood servings is basically a meal. This location has a small seating area but they are large though to accommodate much more seating if they do choose (then might be well worth the $$)
Response from the owner
Thank you for your feedback! We're glad you enjoyed our service and the portions. We appreciate your suggestion regarding the seating area and will consider it as we strive to enhance our customer experience. Looking forward to your next visit!
This Brazilian chain specializing in acai bowls and smoothies has finally made their way into Quuens. Oakberry Acai’s newest location opened up in Astoria this past weekend in the space formerly occupied by Every Table. Along with the usual bowls and smoothies, this location also sells healthy snacks (protein balls, granola), sorbet, and healthy drinks (kombucha, wellness shots, cold pressed juices).

I got their Build Your Own Acai “Bowl” (this is a misnomer as all of their acai and smoothies are served in cups). The “bowls” come in three sizes: Classic (12 oz), Works (16 oz) and The Oak (24 oz). I ordered the Works with Granola, Bananas, Strawberries, Peanuts, Almonds and Almond Butter. The acai was refreshing, slightly sweet and slightly tangy, with perfectly ripe fruits and crunchy granola and nuts. I especially liked how they layered the acai, granola and toppings in the cup. In other places, the acai is placed at the bottom and the toppings are all on top. At Oakberry’s, they layer it in a way so that you get a bit of everything with each bite.

Overall, I really enjoyed the acai “bowl”. I just wished it wasn’t so expensive. With tax and a 15% tip, my total came to $20.60, making this one of the more expensive acai bowls I’ve gotten in a while. I probably won’t be coming here too often (it would kill my wallet) but when I need a healthy treat and am willing to splurge, I know exactly where to go to.
Yayy my fav acai bowl store in astoria! So clean & cute inside store also having outdoor seats
