I placed an order for delivery and they shorten my order for something that was so simple and I try reaching out to seamless because it was already closing time for the restaurant but I thought if there out of something they should contact the customer.. seamless only offer me a $5 credit and not a refund.. I spent $50 worth of food from this restaurant and I end up getting the short end of the stick..I will not order from them in person or on any apps again..
Food was amazing. My son and I were served right away. Food a fresh and on point. Very friendly staff and great service. Definitely recommend.
I had a terrible experience here. The server took my drink order but never delivered it, as she appeared focused on making drinks at the bar for another table. I later asked a different server for my drinks and was told they would be out in two minutes. After waiting approximately ten more minutes, I asked again, but there was difficulty with communication and my request was not understood as the staff does not speak English. I ordered three Mexican Coca Colas.

After about forty five minutes, the drinks finally arrived, but only two were brought out of the three. Everyone else at the table had already received their drinks, and our appetizers had arrived while I was still waiting on the drinks. I was extremely thirsty by that point. Considering the drinks only needed to be taken from the refrigerator, the delay was frustrating. When they did arrive, they were not even cold. Communication among the staff seemed to be an ongoing issue, which contributed significantly to the poor service.

The food also fell short of expectations. I ordered shrimp tacos, which were much better in the past. This time, they were bland and not worth the price. There are several other nearby restaurants that offer better quality tacos at a lower cost. To make matters worse, an automatic gratuity was included on the bill despite the lack of adequate service.
This place has really gone down in food quality and it’s so unfortunate because I lived in this area for a long time. I remember when they opened at the end of the ‘block….So trust me ive seen it at its best and now at its worst. Now they charge you $16 for a small guac and a large bag of chips before it was $10 for the small and 16 for the large now it’s just a small for $16.

The birra Tacos come plain the sauce on the side. The tacos are not dipped in the sauce. The meat is not cooked in the sauce. You just get a sauce cup and you’re paying $20. I have sauces in my kitchen. I could’ve made plain tacos at home, saved the money and just bought the sauce for cheaper. It’s really unfortunate. Do better!!
The restaurant is very welcoming and beautifully decorated. We tried the Horchata(MUST ORDER IT WAS GREAT), Agua de jamaica, chimichanga, birria tacos, and enchiladas en mole. Literally everything was delicious and I cannot wait to go back!! Are we just so provided in good service. Our bill came up to around $70 for three meals and three nonalcoholic drinks.
A family friendly restaurant with tasty food. Some of the best items here are the tacos al carbon, enmoladas, and tacos. Good for celebrations.
I ordered the wrong thing. I wanted the chimichanga but ordered the burrito, I guess I was thinking when I would order a burrito elsewhere there wasn’t any cilantro in it. My husband did mention to the waitress that I didn’t like cilantro but I guess because it wasn’t said no cilantro. That is exactly why I ordering the chimichanga because it didn’t have cilantro in it. I’ve only gotten the tortilla del superset 1 time. That time it was so delicious the onions were sautéed to perfection with the flavor so awesome. I said no peppers so it was all so good. Then after that they killed it with onions instead of making everything even so nothing was overwhelming the other. The next time I thought we said no peppers but there was so I had to pick them all out which was a pain. I’ve also had the Enchilada Suizas which always was so good with the chile poblano sauce. I loved the way the whole taste came together. I really liked the sauce so much that I ordered something else but wanted that sauce with it. I had to pay xtra because instead of giving you the sauce with the plate they gave you a whole order of the sauce which was way too much to go with the food but no problem if that’s what I had to do to get SOME sauce. Then they changed the sauce. It tasted like they now were grounding cilantro in it. Yuck. Are you telling me that all Mexicans & Spanish people like cilantro? Because they put it in everything & I know a lot of people don’t like Cilantro, they say it tastes like soap but I don’t like the taste or the smell. It gives me a headache. The Jaimica drink (sorrel), I love. My husband started getting the pork chops & they were really good, I couldn’t believe how good they were but of course the one time I order it, they were dry & not juicy like they always are when he gets it. I said to myself, watch when I order them they’ll be dry & that’s exactly what happened.
I visited this restaurant for the first time last night. The restaurant is BEAUTIFULLY decorated! There are wall murals, and a grass wall for photo ops. There was a man singing in Spanish and engaging the patrons without being intrusive. The food is delicious along with great drinks at a reasonable price. Great local Bronx date night option with authentic Mexican food and flair.
I had the pleasure of going here last Saturday night. Such a wonderful experience!! Great energy & great music! The food was also exceptional. I loved the sopes! The cucumber cilantro margarita is amazing! Definitely a good time with great food & energy!
Hands down one of the best Mexican spots I’ve ever been to! The shrimp soup was out of this world, the birria tacos were melt-in-your-mouth tender, and don’t even get me started on the chicharrón with guac—just chef’s kiss. Flavor heaven in every bite!
Let’s not forget the esquites (the corn) which was so good I had to add it to my shrimp soup 😩

The tamrind margaritas, so perfect!👌🏽
I’ve been here a few times before but I think they revamped and redesigned the business. It’s so nice on the inside. Great spots to take pictures. I had the chicken quesadilla with rice and beans and a kid order of rice and chicken fingers. Everything was great! The green sauces took my quesadilla to the next level! One was spicier than the other but both were good. My waitress was nice attentive and had a pleasant demeanor.
Great date night atmosphere. Food was slap yo mama good . Was a little pricey , however, worth every penny. Will visit again ! My boyfriend was in a blissful food coma the second we got home. Highly recommend this place!
First time in this place. Excellent greeting and seating. Clean and welcoming place. Mariachi was live and he was great. Waitress was all over the place and I had to repeat my order 2x, rushing to tend to other tables. Didn't even ask if we wanted anything to drink. Eventually, she came back and asked but was rushing me again to place order on the drink . Food was very tasty and came out fast. Drink was ok too, but way better at their other spots. The biggest issue and complaint I have in which it's a deal breaker for me was that the same waitress tried overcharging us. They add up by hand not a printed bill. Even when we called her out on it, she had the nerves to bring calculator and add in front of us to only end up catching her mistake by $5.00. I could only imagine how many times she has done that and to how many other people it's been done to on that day, mainly to those that don't check their bill. It was $5.00 for us but could be more for others. I suggest check your bill regardless of how nice or how great your server was. Won't be returning unless printed receipts are in effect.
I like ordering Mexican food from here! Never gone in person to this location but I usually order from ubereats or Grubhub from here. I decided to try their birria tacos with no cheese and unfortunately they weren’t that good and my tortillas were soggy and fell apart quickly. Next time I will stick with the chicken or steak quesadillas with their yummy yellow rice and black beans! My boyfriend really likes their steak tostadas except for the second one being smushed, still tasted good.
