Great steak, fantastic service and Allen took good care of me. The staff is very attentive and it was the best steak I ever ate. Period.

Nice establishment. Service was excellent and the staff were polite and friendly. The filet was fantastic and they also have baked potato on the menu! Ambience was traditional classic and the restaurant operates in an old opera theater house from the 20s, so there’s a lot of rich history in the dining room. It also has upstairs seating which was the old balcony area. Will return again.

I came for an early dinner with my fiancé. Getting a reservation was easy on the open table app. When we sat down we were greeted very kindly and were very happy with the service throughout. Our waiter Gent was exceptional, he explained the different cuts very clearly and was attentive throughout our meal. We ended up ordering the empire steak for two with a side of fries and creamed spinach. The steak was cooked as we like and the portions were generous. Spinach was not too heavy and flavorful.<br><br>Overall we had a great time and I would recommend trying out Empire Steakhouse.

Can’t say enough good things about this place. Staff extremely helpful. Gent was amazing server. Food and drinks amazing and delicious. We had a company event and rented whole place. The steaks are delicious and cooked as requested. Honestly all the servers were amazing !!! Made whole experience much better.

What an excellent gastronomic experience! What was ordered and my personal thoughts:<br>- Crabcake: comes in one piece, but it was really good. The crab meat was naturally sweet. Such a great start.<br>- Porterhouse steak for 2: Absolutely delightful. The portion was so big, it could feed 3-4 pax. The meat was beautifully cooker, came out with a wee bit of theatrical presentation but it was so good. Please try this item!<br>- Sauteed spinach: Makes you feel like you’re eating a balanced meal haha. But delicious nonetheless!<br>- Empire home fries: Yum, get this instead of steak fries!<br><br>Overall it was such a great experience. The team was really attentive, and welcoming and I can’t wait to be back with my friends!

Great food and atmosphere. The only reason I docked a star on service is because we were intially greeted by a server but then spent about 10-15 minutes at the table before being given menus. However, Nick (who was not the initial server) quickly rectified the situation once we let him know and brought us the menus immediately. Nick is an amazing server. He went above and beyond (he deserves 5 stars!). I'm glad we decided to come here for our anniversary, he made our night very special. Despite the hiccups, I would definitely come back. Side note, best french onion soup I have ever had! Also, I think I like their steak more than Peter Luger's 😜

This place was absolutely beautiful and amazing service! Hubby and I went here after a candlelight concert and had no idea of what we were walking in to! We choose this place spontaneously.Our waiter knew what to recommend and it was not disappointing!!! We had fried calamari and baked oysters for starters then for main course we had prime steak for 2 with mash potatoes,Mac &cheese and creamed spinach. We would be back for sure!!!

If you are on a date or just looking for a very romantic, classic sexy night just come!!!!! Ardian and flory was amazing!! They were hospitable and very patient and kind! Ardian explained everything on menu for us . Even when wifey and I didn’t like our initial first drink , he immediately replaced it! We came here on 2/13 from a candle light concert and it was 1 of the best steaks we had in NYC!!! Thank you Empire Steak House!

First time here for my birthday and it was a lovely experience! Everything we ordered was delicious and we didn’t wait long. Our waiter was Gent, he and his team were awesome - very attentive and funny, they took good care of us. We will definitely be back to try other things on the menu. A great steakhouse in midtown nyc! I had such an amazing experience at this steakhouse! From the moment we sat down, everything was top-tier. Our waiter, Rexhep, truly made the night special — he was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm. You can tell he really cares about giving guests a great experience, and that kind of service is rare.<br><br>The food was absolutely delicious. Every bite was full of flavor, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. You know a place is good when you’re still thinking about the meal the next day — and this was definitely one of those spots.<br><br>Between the outstanding service and the incredible food, this was easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. I’ll 100% be coming back and recommending this place to everyone. If you go, ask for Rexhep — he’s the best!

I came here this weekend to celebrate my friend’s birthday and it was truly a 10/10 experience. The staff was attentive, fun, and made us feel so well taken care of. The food was delicious with generous portions, and the drinks were strong while still tasting amazing. They even brought out a cake and sang for her, which made the night feel extra special and personal. We had a booth with plenty of space, and the whole experience was unforgettable. An outstanding steak house that truly exceeds expectations. The atmosphere is amazing – beautifully designed and very welcoming from the moment you walk in. The food is excellent, with perfectly cooked, juicy steaks full of flavor and generous portions. A special mention goes to the bartender, who are not only beautiful but also incredibly friendly, professional, and always smiling, making the whole experience even better. The service is top-notch, everything runs smoothly, and you really feel taken care of. A stunning place with fantastic food and great vibes – highly recommended and definitely a place I’ll be coming back to.

My boyfriend and I were on vacation in NYC for our anniversary and we really wanted a steak dinner to celebrate. After looking at some options my boyfriend decided on Empire Steak House, and I am so glad he did! I've personally never been to such a fancy restaurant, and this place blew us both away. The service was top-notch, waiters were constantly refilling our glasses, and they even served us our food since we ordered some sides to share. The restaurant itself is impeccable. They have a less formal area and then they have the dinner area which was just stunning. The food was amazing, some of the best steak I've ever had. I still have yet to try a place that beats this steak house. My boyfriend paid around $300 with tip, and we both agreed it was worth every penny.

Well visiting New York City, my son and I decided to stop at this steakhouse for dinner. I really enjoyed my experience from the time I entered. The host was very kind and brought us to our table. The server was very kind and friendly and helped us select what we wanted to order. Everything was extremely delicious. My son had ordered his steak, medium rare and it came out perfectly. The lobster bisque was delicious. The steak was very thick but perfectly cooked. They have a very wide range of wine to choose from. I also enjoyed the decor and ambience of the restaurant.
