After multiple attempts to get to Emily BK, finally made it there on Saturday. It did not disappoint at all, even after all these years and the Manhattan expansion. The space is tight, but the noise level surprising moderate. I appreciate that they have high top seating at the bar. If you have mobility issues, that's the place to be seated. The staff could not be more accommodating. The Caesar salad starter was delicious (sorry I forgot to take a pic). The anchovies are placed on top of the salad, rather than blended into the dressing, so it was easy to remove for anyone who does not like anchovies. Hopefully you do and get to eat them all like I did. The pizza is definitely worth returning for. Perfect crust and amazing sauce. Now to the burger. At $31 it is a little steep. The sauce and onions are right on point. The burger was cooked perfectly as ordered. The bun looked better than it tasted. Looked like a pretzel bun, but with everything else going on, it did not add anything to the palette, although it is lovely to look at. I'll be going back soon to try another pizza and the burger without the bun.

Great burger (4.5/5)! The meat is very tender and the sauce they used gives it a nice little kick to it. The cheese is also nice and melty and the caramelized onions are a nice touch. Fries are also tasty and crispy/fluffy. But, totally not worth $32.

We had the burger with fries and the knots. The burger was good but not worth the price. The sauce was good and maybe the highlight of the burger. The burger was a little soggy I like my burgers with a little crust on them. It lacks a little flavor too. The only reason im saying so much about the burger is because its $30. The knots were great. Atmosphere was nice a little tight but good.

I used to live a couple blocks away and ate here regularly before the pandemic. I craved a good burger and popped in this weekend since I was in the neighborhood. As many years ago, the burger delivered with high quality meat, perfectly cooked bacon and a great combination of high quality cheese, grilled onions and dressings. The fries were nicely seasoned, crispy and held ketchup well (didn’t get soggy). The service was good, not above and beyond, but attentive and prompt. The locale is small, with tables quite close to each other and many people squeezed in tight spaces —this is par for the course for restaurants in the area, not a negative per se, but something to keep in mind for groups greater than 1-2. I’m conflicted about giving the food 4 stars versus 5. The burger is outstanding, but it is also $35 (with bacon addition), a draught Pilsner is $12, and value-for-money impacted overall rating for me.

Emily is a gem hidden in plain sight! I got to try the Big Ang pizza which was great! Perfect crust and tasty toppings. I ordered the Emmy Burger which seemed to be a highlight on the menu. Every bite was pleasant, the burger was very juicy and the fries were very crispy and well salted. I enjoyed the Brussels sprouts later at home and they were perfect cold as they had green apple and bacon. I had the Cherry Lime Spritz which was a very flavorful fizzy drink which reminded me of a Shirley Temple. I'd definitely be back to try the other pizzas and for a second go at those Brussels!

Oh and the service from Indah was top notch and welcoming. She was friendly, attentive and knew the menu well.

Been a while since I’ve been here. But the Emmy Burger is as good as I remember from 5 or 6 years ago. One of the best burgers in the country. Loaded with flavor, perfectly cooked and delicious. Tried something for the first time, their WINGS! I’m a win junkie. And these were a hit. Unique flavor, wet, with some really good crunch and perfectly cooked. Great stuff here as expected!

Food is pretty good. I wouldn’t call it my favorite burger because the meat as practically rare and I like it a little more cooked, but that seemed to be their standard cook.

Love the thin, crispy pizza fired to perfection. The Korean wings are crispy sweet and spicy.

What can I say about Emily's? Let's start with that I made sure I made reservations for the earliest time I could because I had heard that the burger sells out. I will say the burger was amazing! However, what I ordered first and last made a huge lasting impression. The broccoli salad was literally the best salad I've had recently. The pairing of the miso dressing with the dried cranberries.. was a match made in heaven. Just typing this I can taste it. I ended up eating a huge portion of it even though it was supposed to be shared with my friend. The last thing we ordered was the banana creme pudding. DROOLS... I wanted to order two! It was the creamiest pudding with chunks of banana! My god. My friend said "I'm so full I can't eat anything else..." one taste of that pudding and she ate half! She said "I had to!". One of the best parts of our experience at Emilys was seeing my favorite pod person in a framed drawing on the wall sittin on the famous Emily burger with a little spotlight above the frame. MONICA PADMAN! Fantastic. Gave me the warm fuzzy cherries ;P IFYKYK ArmCherry for life from DAY 1 - Thanks for the suggestion guys! <3

came here from a twitter post saying that it was the best burger in the city. drove from long island to try it.

ordered the original Dan’s pizza and the Emmy Burger. we were starving, so we were ready to eat.

Emmy Burger is an 8/10. great sauce, firm bun, and the meat was delicious. It is a top10 burger. absolutely not worth the price or the hype. for $31 you can make yourself a delicious burger at home, while watching a movie. The fries seem to vary from picture to picture—I got more of a white thin fry than other customers in reviews did (brown, crumbly fries). See photos for reference.

pizza was 5/10. it is a vodka pie but it ate more like a white slice. Flavor lacked there wasnt the necessary amount of vodka for a vodka pie. in fact, there was a lack of sauce entirely. $20, but the mozz was good to bite into. you can get a better slice/pie elsewhere, 100%.

in short—great atmosphere and friendly hostess. but i would not come back. This is the best way to explain my feelings about Emily— my friend and i said if we were to pick a Chili’s burger or an Emmy Burger, we would choose an Emmy Burger. If we were to pick between Chili’s or Emily’s though? = Chili’s 10 times out of 10 times.

things are getting expensive nowadays, and i dont even have a recommended place for you to go elsewhere. but, staying home with your wife or girlfriend and making a burger would be much more worth it. save your money and make her happy.

We had a reservation for 3 on a Friday night and were seated as soon as we arrived. The restaurant is small and was really busy so would recommend booking, at least for weekends. We ordered the hot wings to start and then the Emmy Burger and the Trio House Pie to share for our mains.

The wings arrived quickly and really packed a punch of flavour. The portion size was generous, enough for 3 of us to share, and overall it made for a great starter. We had a nice break between our starters and mains arriving, which we appreciated. When they arrived though all of the main dishes were delicious! The burger was so juicy and all of the flavours together worked so well, I can see why this is considered one of the best burgers in New York. Shoutout to the fries that came with the dish as well, they were so moreish and none of us could stop eating them. The pizza was more of a Neapolitan style pizza but the dough was tasty and we all thought it was an enjoyable slice.

We ended the meal with some espresso martinis and the s’mores calzone. The martinis were great and the calzone was a great dessert, it was just a bit too much for us after all of the food (clearly had eyes bigger than our stomachs).

All in all I would highly recommend Emily if you are looking for a casual restaurant with good food. We all had 3 or 4 drinks each, along with the food, and the total bill (including tax and tip) came to c$300. We didn’t think this was bad value for the quality of food (and being New York) and we all agreed we would return. Looking forward to trying more dishes in the future!

I saw a Twitter post raving about the burger here, and I had to check it out. There was no wait, which was a nice surprise. I ordered the Emmy Burger and the Emily pizza, which is a sweeter pizza topped with hot honey and pistachio. The burger was fantastic. The caramelized onions added a depth of flavor that really made the meat stand out. I wouldn’t recommend the pizza if you’re looking for a traditional or classic slice. While it was a unique experience, it just wasn’t for me. Overall, the burger is definitely worth the hype 🍔

We had the brussel sprouts, Emmy Burger and Emily pizza.

The Brussel sprouts were a bit tough, could have been cooked and caramelized longer.

The Emmy Burger was bland and could've used more salt. The fries that came with it was good though.

The Emily pizza reminded more of cheese bread than white pizza. The pistachio and honey taste were very light pretty much non-existent, we were thinking more honey would've helped a lot. 1/4th of the crust was also burnt black as you can see in the picture

Overall we were disappointed with our dinner here.

Legendary place.

After trying all kinds of remakes, I finally got myself to Emily to try the original World-famous Emmy Burger, and I must say it's worth the hype. The ingredients are very tasteful without being overreaching, very well balanced. With no doubt, the Emmy sauce is so good it's hard to put into words. They basically invented a new flavor. Its spicy touch combines perfectly with the saltiness of the fluffy pretzel bun, the sweetness of the caramelized onion, and the acidity of the pickles. I expected a little more flavor intensity from the dry-aged meat, and it would've made the whole experience unsurpassable. However, it is one of the best burgers you will ever have. And the fries... crispy and addictive!

If you are in the city, you MUST gift yourself a visit to this cozy place. No other item of food has had a bigger impact than this masterpiece of a burger. They changed the game. They made history. Hail to the queen, hail to Emily 👑

PS: Will come back for their pizzas 😉

Absolutely delicious and will definitely be back!

Had four people on a Monday night before happy hour ended. We got the following:
- Appetizer olives
- Nguyen wings
- Emmy burger
- Brender pizza
- Emily pizza
- Happy Hour cocktails, wines, and beer

All items were so yummy and delicious! Good portion sizes and flavors. Would recommend everything on the menu we had.

Service was efficient. There were only three-ish parties at the restaurant around 6:30pm on a Monday so they were attentive to our table.

On their windows they have a lot of accolades. We can definitely see why… it was so delicious. Excited to go back and try their other menu items!
