Elmhurst Park

Very nice. Have some drink fountain, green grass part huge alot of space, have few simple gym machine there. The only two problems are toilet smelly and some people smoke weed n staff dont really care.

In spring, the flowers are beautiful. The park is clean and has restrooms. There is space for running, a sports area for teenagers, a playground, small hills, rocks, and benches along the paths. There are many trees, providing plenty of shade.<br><br>Before school ends, it is quiet and not crowded. After school, it becomes much more lively and can get quite busy. The park has a good amount of nature, with bees, wasps, and several types of birds.<br><br>It is located next to a main road and is close to Stop & Shop supermarket, which is convenient.

Beautiful park with lots of space for birthday parties and get togethers. Fabulous playground for the kids, great hill for sledding. Easy to get to. Very clean. Bathrooms are clean but small.

Me & My Dog’s favorite park in the neighborhood. I’m so glad they made this beautiful park for the neighborhood - it was needed and you can really see how vital it was to have such a space all along every time you see all the different people, cultures, kids, etc enjoying this space.<br><br>This park used to be a waste of space with weird gasoline towers that kids used to sneak into and play around. Not sure it was entirely safe and also sketchy.<br><br>With that said, I think this park is impressively well maintained and really clean compared to many other Parks in and around the boroughs. It’s a highly trafficked park, especially on the weekends, but somehow it is maintained and pretty clean. I think it’s the combination of the maintenance staff being so meticulous🙏 and the neighbors who really appreciate this space and use it responsibly.<br><br>Love the trees, my dog loves the giant hill, love the ballroom dancing that happens everyday by the playground, the trees :)<br><br>This has been an excellent addition to Elmhurst. If I had any criticism, 4 stars because the bottom of the hill tends to get MUDDY and mushy after rainfall but not a deal breaker. Just poor landscaping/planning.

Elmhurst Park is a solid, dependable neighborhood park. It’s usually pretty busy, which shows how much the community values and uses the space. The area itself is primarily home to Latino and Asian families, and that cultural richness really shines through—especially during community events and gatherings where you might catch traditional dances or other cultural activities.<br><br>In all the times we’ve visited, I’ve never seen any violence or serious disturbances. The park is actively used by all ages—children, teens, and adults alike. Occasionally, you may see a few folks hanging around who are clearly intoxicated or involved in low-stakes gambling or card games, but they tend to keep to themselves and don’t interfere with the family-friendly environment.<br><br>Overall, it feels like a safe, vibrant space where people from the community come to relax and connect. We enjoy going there and appreciate what the park brings to the neighborhood.

Amazing. I have been going there for 11 years. Was my daughter's first playground. Now I have an 8 months old boy and like a good wine has just gotten better with time. He left the park exhausted

It's a beautiful and peaceful park. Great, for a peaceful walk or meditation. There is also a cute playground for the little ones.

It is an ideal place for children to play as well as some rest for adults while on vacation.

Awesome park, one of the best we've been in queens. The playground it's really complete and with some cool bikes for older kids.

It’s a nice place in Maspeth area to relax and they have some cool fitness equipment, try em out!! Works just fine

I love the set up of this park! There's a small trail that wraps around the park. And at different points of the trail, I can find a mini soccer field, a huge play ground area, and seating sprinkled everywhere. Right smack in the middle of the park is a large hill, which I have seen people go sledding down in the winter time. Also, as of right now, most of the trees are in full bloom! For the size of the park, it's so beautiful!

Best park i have taken my child to! I am so happy It is close to home! It is clean and the crowd is diverse! Definitely stop by this park when you have a chance!
