We drive down there from Westchester whenever we want steamed fish. The flounder is delicious, steamed and seasoned to perfection with vegetables and a side of yellow rice! And they even accept EBT for "healthy" choices. 😋

This place is a complete scam! Do not go here especially if you’re not from NY! DO NOT PAY WITH YOUR DEBIT/CREDIT CARD‼️While vacationing in NY, saw this place on social media and thought it would be a good authentic place to eat. WRONG!!! No one speaks English or at least they pretend not to. The cashier added himself a $20 dollar tip to my bill without my knowledge or permission. Also, the seafood is extremely over priced. What I picked, versus what I received was not the same. For example… I picked a red snapper fish, what I received was tilapia. The food was extremely over cooked and rubbery! The blue crab legs were old and not edible. If you’re not from NY I don’t recommend eating here! SCAMMER ALERT ‼️

This was my first time going here and I must say I love the way the hospitality is being there. This place is the cleanest place that I have been in and the food is so good and the price is good. I would definitely be going back for sure.

Overall, the experience was great at El Puerto in Harlem! Especially considering we came through around 3:00 a.m. The fact that they were even open at that hour was a win in itself and immediately set the tone for a solid late night stop. After a long night out, this place truly understood the assignment.<br><br>We started with the crab empanadas, which were just okay. They seemed a bit dry for my taste and weren’t my favorite item of the night, but still decent enough to try for $3. That said, everything else more than made up for it. The extra large shrimp were an easy 10/10 perfectly cooked, flavorful, and exactly what I was craving after a night out with friends. The fries were also a standout: hot, crispy, and well-seasoned, not bland or forgettable like late night fries often are.<br><br>One of my favorite parts of the experience was the setup. I loved being able to head to the back, create my own dish, bring it to the counter, and have it cooked fresh right there. That was pretty lit!<br><br>If you’re leaving the club starving and need something satisfying, flavorful, and available when most kitchens are closed, this is absolutely the spot.<br><br>I’m definitely coming back.

Fish is fresh & it tastes AMAZING! I recommend going early to beat the crowd especially on the weekends.

Do not, i repeat, DO NOT HAND THEM YOUR CREDIT/DEBIT CARD, I pay my order with my debit card late st night, the next day there were 5 random transactions from my card.<br><br>they will steal your card information & take your money from your account.

Saw this place on social media and came with a friend because I was finally in the area. The food is made to order so be prepared to wait. I ordered a steamed blue snapper. The food looks good but they got my order wrong and fried it. He circled it on the menu and everything! The person taking orders also got my friend’s order wrong and did not add her rice.<br>The crab and salmon mixed empanadas were good. I ordered more to go. Make sure you communicate what you want before they put your order in because I was upset. I don’t like re-ordering food because I don’t know what they will do to it. I know some establishments funny. Plus, I have to drive all the way back to Jersey and didn’t feel like waiting any longer than I already have.

They have great seafood. This is the best seafood in uptown. The food test was excellent. I will go again there. Thank you for this kind of food. If anyone like seafood or fresh seafood they can try there. They will cooked in front of you.

Well let's start with line... maybe 10 min wait if your aggressive. The food area is clean and replenished when needed. Then you put your food up for either steam or fry. That takes about 20 min. Then wallah. Great food !!

Well to start off a waiting 45 minutes for my food once getting 1/4 of my order to not be towed for 20 minutes that my full have you given to the wrong customer are you take the rest of my food the cashier did not know how to give a refund so I had to continue to stay in the way what other customers were taken in front of me my refund was given and when I got home I looked at my fried food my favorite food was part on top of the fact that the crab legs were basically empty they were no me inside now I know that the crab legs are artificial meat but I'm saying at least some type of protein no just air and crust I've lived in HARLEM for about 10 years and have came to this place A numerous of times it seems like the service is getting very lax the price are high and the service is nasty

The shrimp were overcooked, definitely will not have those again!. The red snapper was really good!! Staff is super friendly. Service was good.

Food is good might have to wait outside on line to go in if you go late night fresh seafood and veggies. You can steam or fry seafood that you pick and then it's weighed or buy combos or dishes on the menu.

Food is very good. Worth the long wait time. Lol.<br>Keep in kind its no parking so double park and keep someone in the car lol.<br>Hands down best seafood. I traveled from Jersey

Amazing seafood , this place gives city island a run 4 it's money . I've been there @ like 2am & the lines are still out the door . Well worth the wait . And the double parking ticket you'll have on ur car by the time u get ur food .
