Stopped by Eataly Flatiron for a quick caffè and a mortadella sandwich with cheese, and wow—what a treat! The sandwich was delizioso, packed with flavor, and the coffee was the perfect pick-me-up. Great vibes, friendly service, and a little taste of Italy in the middle of the city. Bellissimo!

Food was good, service was terrible. Took about 15 minutes to get served and then our server literally disappeared and never came back. We had to wait 40 additional minutes for the tab and then the new person stood over us. Overall bizarre experience but fun location. Overall nothing to write home about

Went to their roof top restaurant, it’s my favorite! Always fresh ingredients, cocktails are delightful, friendly staff. Then take a tour and do so shopping downstairs to take some fresh ingredients or meals home to David m savor the taste of Italy at home. Next goal is to visit every open style bar and restaurant inside the market, can’t wait

It has italian everything. Literally in heaven over here. Giant Cannolis, there's a focacciaria too. I didn't know that was a thing. They got groceries, wine, delicacies and a restaurant. And everything is great... but the price tags will keep most ppl away, sadly. This place is worth a monthly visit, they have high quality harder to find italian items all in one place. But everything is very expensive due to exports and it's in Manhattan and everything is just the best.

Eataly Flatiron is a lively Italian marketplace with great variety, but it can feel overwhelming. Go during off-peak hours to avoid long lines, especially for popular counters like pasta and pizza. Seating fills up fast, so scout a table early. Prices are a bit high, but quality is solid. Don’t skip the fresh bread and gelato—they’re highlights. It’s best enjoyed with a plan rather than wandering aimlessly.

This place is much more than a grocery store — it’s an experience. The variety is incredible and everything is well stocked. It feels like a lively, interesting space where you can shop, relax, and even have great conversations.

The bar and coffee area are combined, which makes it even more special. You can order cocktails right at the coffee counter, and the coffee itself is excellent. I come here often to try different foods.

If you’re a serious meat lover, this is the place. Their meat dishes are outstanding, especially the chicken and the soups — rich, flavorful, and satisfying. They also have a wide selection of pizza and Italian snacks. You can find almost any classic Italian comfort food here.

If you’re looking for a casual spot to grab food with friends, this is definitely a great choice.

The Eatly restaurant has a great location in the Flatiron District, but my experience on Valentine’s Day was disappointing. The restaurant was extremely crowded, and the menu selection felt limited.
I ordered the fried polenta, which unfortunately was too hard. I also tried the trio of pasta samples—one dish included ham, and I actually enjoyed the ham more than the pasta itself, which says a lot.
Overall, this visit was a thumbs down for me. That said, I’m open to giving it another try on a less busy day and hope for a better experience next time.

Would highly recommend anyone spend some time in here to peruse the plethora of Italian goods and items as well as restaurants and bars to try to food! We stopped into Bar Milano for Restaurant Week and sent a few hours having just the best time over a bottle of wine. Centrally located. Bathrooms are nice. If you have time to just look around, you will really enjoy this adventure.

Food was pretty good. Service was on the slow side. Surprisingly came out very lukewarm warm and they brought my wife a veal dish accidentally when ordering a vegetarian one. Wouldn’t go back necessarily.

Eataly is such a great concept — an impressive selection of high-quality and hard-to-find Italian products, beautifully displayed in a space that feels lively but well organized. It’s more than a grocery store; the layout blends retail and restaurants seamlessly, making it easy to shop, grab a coffee, or sit down for a proper meal. A great spot whether you’re stocking up on specialty ingredients or just spending an afternoon wandering.

I wanted to love this place.
It looks like a farmers market w/ a lot to buy, but it seems tourist trap’y…
I say this, as the food at the restaurant was bland and over priced, with all the locations we tried, were all packed with tourists.
The staff were all nice but clearly extremely overwhelmed.
Also the restrooms smelled horrible of urine and were clearly too small for the amount of ppl in the building.

So many food options and plenty of things to grab for home too.
I stopped by right before heading back, and it was honestly perfect for last-minute grocery shopping. Easy to browse, lots of variety, and I ended up picking up way more than I planned

I always love coming here—not just for groceries but for the unique gifts. It’s a great spot for anyone who loves food or wants authentic Italian items. I even did some of my Christmas shopping here last year! They carry a lot of pieces similar to what I’ve seen at Bloomingdale’s, but with that true Italian touch.

The food and drink options are always solid. On my most recent visit, I had their espresso martinis—only had two and I was done for. They were very good, made with real espresso. I also tried the Cacio e Pepe arancini. They were okay, but definitely needed a side of sauce; the middle was a bit dry.

Always a fun stop no matter what you’re there for.

A local friend recommended that I had to walk through the market before I leave and she was spot on. I could have spent all afternoon here eating and sampling and watching the cutting, chopping and folding of all the delicious food. Since I fly I only got the tomato pie but man was it good even a couple hours later at LGA. I did purchase a bag of dry garlic and chili bowtie pasta for home since you can carry on dry goods. Can't wait to find a complimentary recipe to make them.

We walked past this not realizing what this was, not realizing what rabbit hole we were about to go down. Such a cool place to check out. The focaccia sandwiches are so good!
