Food was amazing- I got the crispy chicken tacos and a mojito both were delicious. Views were immaculate, you’re literally right in Times Square!!!

went here on a birthday lunch date and everything was phenomenal! the restaurant itself beautiful, service was very friendly and helpful, and you can truly taste the authentic freshness of the food. will be coming back again!

the margaritas were great. wanted to kill time before we'd checkout of our hotel, so we went for happy hour. we sat in the front bar window, our server greeted us , took our order, dropped drinks off and food, then vanished. i went to the bar to get another margarita but bartender said she would send it over. 10 minutes later another server came with margaritas and said the other one left.. hmm?? however bussers were very prompt and asked to take dirty dishes away. the only thing is that we when we got the bill our margaritas we ordered were not happy hour priced and we ordered the happy hour maragritas stated on the menu. when i asked the new server he said its the bar or lounge only. ok.. we were in the bar area but ok.. it was our first time there, we didnt know where the lounge was, we only saw the bar. anyway my quesadilla was delicious and maragritas were great.

I was here for Happy Hour this week - just 2 of us. Seating in the bar was unavailable so we were sat just next to it. We arrived at 4:30pm. Happy Hour is through 6pm. After waiting a long time our waitress came and we ordered specifically off the Happy Hour menu. When we ordered we said "may we have the Happy Hour guac....the Happy Hour El Camino" etc and not ONCE did our server tell us we would not be eligible for Happy Hour pricing because of where their staff sat us. Had we known this, we would have gone elsewhere. Our food (guacamole and queso) was brought to the table, without chips....which seemed laughable at the time but then the fact that we had to order chips to accompany that food was ridiculous. How else do you eat those things? And our bill came and we were charged full price. When I have complained to management they told me "That's something your server should have told you" and when I said, "ok but she didn't" they said "I'm sorry, there's nothing I can do".<br>This just feels so dishonest and shady. There is no "atmosphere" here - it's dirty and dilapidated and this dishonesty just solidifies I will never come back.

I’ve eaten here a few times, as it’s close to the hotel where I often stay. This most recent time I stopped in for lunch before a matinee show. I had the nachos with ground beef. They didn’t skimp on the toppings and the portion size was great for lunch. My server was really sweet and attentive as well.

If you are in midtown and looking for a quick bite and drink to test those feet, kill some time before or after a show, this is the place for you. The food, staff, and view is perfect! Check them out asap

This Mexican restaurant is situated on the ground floor of W New York - Times Square. I really like the Mexican dishes here. Service is good and fast.

FOOD: everything I eat here was absolutely fantastic. The appetizers are incredible especially the shrimp… My God I’ll be thinking about that shrimp for a while. The skirt steak Asada was delicious and the server was kind enough to provide additional chimichurri sauce when I requested it.<br><br>DRINKS: I have to say it was a little underwhelmed by the drinks. I ordered the smoky Mezcalrita which was… Fine. Presentation as expected. And then ordered a passionfruit margarita which was very tart. I wish there was an additional ingredient to cut the darkness. Maybe the passionfruit purée needs some Malik acid for adjustment.<br><br>SERVICE: the poor host was so frantic when I arrived. He was definitely in the weeds and could’ve used additional support from management or colleagues. I asked him for a table for two and he sent me at bar seating. I went back to a very busy host stand to request a table instead and he quoted me 30 minutes. I then walked downstairs to talk to a second host to see if they had any seating for two, and I was immediately sat. The server was very kind and would often check in with me to let me know when I should expect the food to drop to the table.<br><br>LOCATION: I had tickets to a Broadway show this evening and the location could not possibly be better. I was able to relax. Enjoy the company and the food without stressing out about getting to my show on time.

Great food, but would've been 5 stars if we didn't have to pay extra for chips and salsa. El Jefe Margarita was on point.

We are vegetarians and the food was OK. Guacamole was absolutely fantastic. The beans were very dry like it had been sitting there for a bit. Food did come out quick. The cauliflower tacos were quite good. The mojito had no liquour.

I want to start by highlighting the wonderful service we received from our waitress—she was incredibly welcoming and friendly! However, I was a bit disappointed with the food. The guacamole and chips were the only items that really stood out for us, while the other dishes didn’t quite meet our expectations. My kids and I are big fans of Spanish cuisine, so we were hoping for a better experience. While we may not return, I appreciate the effort from the staff!

Ate here on our visit to New York. Our waiter was very nice.<br><br>We ordered a side of seasoned fries which were very tasty.<br><br>My son and I ordered mixed fajitas to share (shrimp and chicken) which come with tortillas , side of sour cream, tomatoes , lettuce , rice and a little bit of beans.<br><br>The food took a long time to come out. I was disappointed when they brought the fajitas out. The serving was very small for I believe $34 . Usually fajitas also have a good amount of glazed onions and bell peppers but not here. The taste was okay.<br><br>They also do not give you any chips or salsa like most Mexican restaurants do. Not sure if it’s just like this in NYC or this particular spot.<br><br>Will not be returning here.

Great experience at Dos Caminos.<br><br>We were looking for a quick bite to eat in between two shows. Made a reservation and was able to get in to have lunch. The place is a lot larger than you expect since it has a basement level. Well decorated and gives you the feel of a traditional Mexican restaurant.<br><br>Our server was Kimberly and she was excellent. Attentive and professional. For lunch we had queso and guacamole. I highly recommend the guacamole. Also had the steak fajitas which were delicious.<br><br>Overall a great meal in a casual environment with great service.

Excellent lunch there last week! Such fresh flavor. Food wasn't spicy but had lots of flavor which is how I like it. Taquitos and salad were both a 10/10. Comfortable restaurant with less commotion for a relaxing lunch. Perfect for a rest and healthy food to revive us after busy NYC days.
