Like the menus so far, but in the first 4 orders, 3 items have been missed. Mostly sauces but rather frustrating. I'm hoping they will work on getting better. I was with Home Chef for almost 4 years and Dinnerly is a little less expensive and you have to have more basic ingredients but the value and freshness is better so far.

We’ve used this service for years. I originally used hello fresh, but switched to Dinnerly due to price point and selection. The deliveries arrive on time. On rare occasions an ingredient will be missing or spoiled. The app has a very convenient way to report these issues and they always give us an automatic credit. Having these meal kits makes our lives so much easier and convenient while we get nutritious meals.

Don't do it!! This service sucks, and when items aren't missing entirely, the menu cards will be missing or BE FOR SOMEONE ELSE'S BOX!

Yesterday they delivered to the wrong address which is clearly labeled as NOT mine. Once I find a company that is comparable in price and isn't INEPT, I am switching.

Dear delivery drivers: please don't retaliate by messing up my orders. Oh wait, you already do!

Don't do it. You will regret it.

I have been using Dinnerly for 3 years and there have been few issues with the delivery. Great product. Martha Stewart’s brand?

Now, I am so tired of this type of experience:

Our order was never delivered yesterday, as expected. The delivery company then moved the delivery date to today, March 3, 2026 without notifying the customer (us). Now, all traces of the delivery company’s link have been removed from this week’s Dinnerly order.

Since we planned that these meals would be delivered on the delivery date, we have no way of tracking the order or if the order will come at all. Are you able to provide an update? I am certain you all realize what an enormous inconvenience this delivery company’s poor service continues to be. And now, not being able to track the package just adds to the frustration.

Same exact thing happened in January. No food.

I’m quite pleased with my time with Donnelly. I’ve used other meal prep services before but invariably ran into problems that made me cancel. So far I haven’t had those issues with djnnerly the meals have been a nice mix of cuisines and I’ve had good customer service and minimal shipping issues. Everything is well packed and I’ve had great control over shipments. I’ve enjoyed making tweaks to recipes to fit my personal tastes. I’m still figuring out my favorites and I like to do mostly vegan modifications. So far that hasn’t been a problem. I only cook for one and it still feels like my servings are too much for me,but I’m already at the lowest shipment frequency. But I haven’t had any oroblemstretcuing one shipment over meals for two months. (I freeze portions or stretch out meals. That ended up being a nice surprise.) it’s only been a few months, but so far I am qyite pleasantly satisfied!I’m always looking for more breakfast options, but that’s just me.

I received ingredients that were clearly spoiled, including a pepper that contained live worms. I contacted customer service immediately and paused my subscription while waiting for a response, which took several days.

When I finally heard back, the proposed resolution was a $1.50 credit toward a future order—an amount that felt dismissive given the severity of the issue. At that point, I chose to cancel my subscription entirely.

My subscription was paused through Saturday, February 7. I cancelled on Friday, February 6, yet I was still charged for another box for the next week. There is no justification for charging an order that was both paused and cancelled.

It has now been six days since I first contacted customer service. I cancelled immediately after their delayed response, and I am still being charged due to their lack of communication. I have received no further assistance to resolve this.

Between the unsafe ingredient quality and the extremely poor customer service, this was an all-around terrible experience.

Every interaction has been awful. I signed up, picked my meals and then get an email I'm getting completely different meals than i picked. Not only that but i selected vegetarian and they changed my meals to meat meals. I contact consumer service and they tell me they cancelled the box and i can reorder but it'll come days later, i had just ordered the first box 5 mins prior. I cancelled the whole box. Then a week later they try to charge me again, i deactivate the account and get a confirmation email. The next day a charge under a different name i had to google to find out it was dinnerly. I contact them and they ask if i also want to cancel the next box, excuse me? I have an email confirming deactivation. This is a very clear violation of the FTC and not legal. This company is scammy and absolutely knows exactly what they are doing. I would not recommend them to anyone ever.

Three weeks in, our experience has been hit or miss. Our family is vegetarian. Our first week recipes were terrific with plentiful portions. On our second week, we were missing most ingredients to one meal. The company gave us a credit. Another, the size of the fresh ingredients (lemon and sweet potatoes) was too small to fulfill the quantities called for in the recipe. Third week’s recipes have not been as good so far. My understanding is Dinnerly is one of the most reasonable meal programs in terms of cost. Three meals a week for a family of four comes out to about $70 - $90 a week. I love the ease of the program and the cooking has been relatively quick and simple, but I’m not sure whether we’ll be sticking with Dinnerly in the long run.

Absolutely terrible service. The meals are good....when they arrive. In 5 deliveries I have never gotten all the ingredients included in my box and even had one box lost for 4 days that I am still fighting to get refunded since it's clearly not safe to eat. I used Everyplate for 2+ years with no problems and will switch back. I have never dealt with such an unreliable sevice in my life as Dinnerly has proven to be.

I’ve never had a worse experience with a meal delivery company. Both of my Dinnerly boxes arrived with spoiled ingredients within 48 hours — including rotted spinach, peppers, and foul-smelling proteins that had to be thrown out immediately.

I canceled my subscription the same day I was charged for my second box, but Dinnerly still shipped it and refused to issue a refund, claiming a “cut-off date” buried in their terms. What’s frustrating is that their own website clearly states customers can “cancel boxes at any time before they’ve shipped.” When I pointed that out, they completely ignored it.

Their customer service responses were slow, scripted, and dismissive, and instead of addressing their policy contradiction or product quality, they asked for photos of food that had already spoiled weeks prior.

It’s disappointing that a company promoting “flexible subscriptions” and “fresh ingredients” would operate this way. I’ve since filed a dispute with my bank and reported the incident to consumer protection.

If you value fresh food, accountability, and honest policies, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

Ordered my box and today it was delivered but EVERYTHING in it was wrong. It was all vegetarian items, which I do not eat...tofu, impossible burgers, etc. Wouldn't issue a refund, only credit towards next box. I am doubtful that box will be correct. Never using Dinnerly again. Awful

Our nutritionist said she knows we are eating right when we say we are eating Dinnerly
Dinnerly meals are the best! Nutritious, delicious, fresh, easy, instructions included and almost everything is provided.
You can choose your own meals.. so glad my daughter and son in law introduced me to these great meals.

We have used this service for 3 weeks. Packages don't arrive on time. This one was due on Saturday and we got it two days late. Everything in the box is warm. The ice packs are completely thawed and everything is wet. I stuck my finger through the zucchini when pulling the box out. Flies flew out of the box when I opened it and now my kitchen stinks. Grateful today is garbage day so I won't have to worry about it stinking up my can outside. We have only gotten one package that was usable.

We've been Dinnerly subscribers for probably close to six years now and have been continuously satisfied by our meals and impressed by the variety and new options. After using another "economy" meal delivery service for a little over a year, we switched to Dinnerly and haven't looked back! Food is great, recipes are quick, customer service is easy to work with, and it arrives on time every week. We love our Dinnerly and recommend it to everyone we know!

The food arrives well packaged and cold. I’ve received beautiful looking produce and very good quality ingredients. They suggest a recommended box each order but you can choose from a bigger menu to really get what you want. Ordering Dinnerly has been a huge help when I’m often short on time to prep and cook. 5 days worth of 2-serving meals plus shipping costs the same as if we ate at a restaurant for one meal. I love cooking and often use fresh ingredients and avoid most processed foods, so these kits are a welcome addition to our meal rotation.
