This was the best buffet I have ever had (yes, in india included). The variety was sooo good and each and every item was so flavorful.
The pani puri, Pav bhaji, chole, mini bhature, naan, sarso ka saag, paneer every item was as perfect as it gets.
We came a bit early than the start of the buffet but still they were so hospitable. The music choice was so nice as well.
At the end, we had mango rice kheer. The perfect ending.
Oh and the dal tadka tasted just like home.
And at a very very reasonable price.
They had enough options for non vegetarians too.

Can't stop recommending this place enough. Loved it. Made our NYC experience even better. ❤️❤️

My partner and I arrived 20 minutes before the lunch buffet closed and were warmly welcomed in. The food was fresh, hot, and flavorful. We were given a basket of fresh, pillowy naan that obviously had just been cooked; it was everything you want naan to be. In addition to the buffet we were given a piece of tandoori chicken each.

There were both vegetarian and meat-based dishes available. I loved the korma and the lamb, but I especially loved the mango mousse, which was creamy and soft and not-too-sweet. Excellent value for dollar, and we'll be back.

Great value for the price and convenience. There are about 10ish options for the lunch buffet as well as à la carte options and drinks. Food was flavorful and very filling. The naan was very fresh. I ate lunch here and was too full to eat dinner afterwards!

Had a wonderful dining experience! The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. What truly stood out was the exceptional service — the staff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel very welcome. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to!

For the price, convenience, and service, it’s a great place for a big lunch. The food is a bit salty so make sure to grab some of the fresh veggies on the side table.

I've been going to Dhaba for years and always enjoy the warm hospitality and excellent cuisine. Recent stand outs have been the Mustard Chicken Tikka appetizer which is huge and delicious. The Murgh Tikka is also excellent. I'm also a big fan of their Lamb Korma and Saag Paneer. As an added bonus, they are the most kind and honest people I've ever met. I left my umbrella there months ago and they still had it for me when I came back the other night. Amazing. I would highly recommend this place.

I had a great experience dining at Dhaba. The paladum and chutneys to start were great, and the lamb biryani was delicious. Priyanka was also incredibly hospitable - thank you!

Came here for late night dining and they were open. Believe last dine in is at 11:30. They handed us tablets which had the menu on it. Dishes around $20-35. Thought naan were on the higher side with $7 a naan. Got samosa chaat as a starter which was really good, recommend. Anyway we ordered 3 dishes. One was saag aloo ( became everyone’s favorite) malai butter chicken, and goat. I recommend getting the saag aloo as well. There butter chicken sauce could have been better. The goat was good too. Also got a classic lassi. They gave complimentary “chips” and sauces. Food came out quick. Once we were done our waiter took a which coming to our table because he was on his phone. I get it, it’s 11pm at night yet it took us a while just to get the check. Staff was friendly don’t get me wrong. Overall great last minute dinner.

Very tasty authentic Indian food, with an authentic dhaba atmosphere. Classic Delhi and Punjabi dishes.

Many Indian restaurants in the city focus on the “fusion indo western” style so it was nice to just eat something simple that tasted like home + basic sides like onion, green chillis, lemon, chutneys, and paapad were free.

Staff was also very friendly and provided fast service.

Best Rogan Josh and purani Delhi paapri chaat I’ve ever had. Lychee martini was 1000/10. I can’t wait to come back here and try more dishes.

We had a wonderful experience at Dhaba Restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, and everything was perfect from start to finish. A special shout-out to Shiraj for his outstanding service — he was attentive, friendly, and made our visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Following a review of online menus and customer feedback, a reservation was secured via Resy.com. The establishment presents an inviting and intimate atmosphere, complemented by a pleasant ambiance. The culinary experience commenced with appetizers, including dahi sav poori, chatptaa aaloo, mustard chicken kabab, nezikat chicken kabab, and mutton barra kabab, all of which were well-received and are recommended. The main course comprised hydrabadi chicken makhni, goat curry, and malai koftaa, accompanied by a selection of breads, with all dishes meeting expectations. The sole area for improvement identified pertains to service; specifically, the staff's attentiveness to guest needs and inquiries. Overall, the dining experience is favorable.

⭐️⭐️⭐️

Tried Dhaba on Lexington Ave recently. Was expecting à la carte or lunch specials, but they were only offering a buffet — about $16, came to $18.20 with tax. Price-wise, it’s reasonable for NY .. service was ok. Atmosphere was ok :)

However, the food was a bit of a letdown in terms of taste. Most of the curries, including the tikka masala, were oddly sweet and lacked the bold flavors you’d expect from Indian cuisine. The spinach chicken was one of the better dishes. Veg options were okay — I liked the bhindi aloo masala, and the gulab jamun at the end was a nice touch. Dhal was just average. Biryani was so dry and less flavorful

No goat, fish, or any other protein variety besides chicken, which made the buffet feel limited. Overall, it was a so-so experience — not bad, but definitely not memorable either.

I recently visited Dhaba with a friend who came all the way from Florida, and it was an unforgettable dining experience! The restaurant has a great vibe, and the food was absolutely delicious.

We ordered the Chicken Tahadi Kabab as a starter, and it was incredibly unique and flavorful—A must-try! For the main course, we had the Goat Biryani, Garlic Naan, and Lamb Rogan Josh. The biryani was aromatic and perfectly spiced, the naan was soft and buttery, and the lamb curry was rich and tender, absolutely divine!

The service was prompt, and the staff was friendly and attentive. I’ve been here before based on reviews, and this time, bringing my friend here was just as satisfying. If you’re in New York and craving authentic Indian cuisine, Dhaba is the place to go!

A special shoutout to the chef for crafting such amazing dishes. Each bite was a burst of flavor, and it’s clear that a lot of care and expertise goes into the food. Thank you for making our meal so memorable!

Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a great meal and a warm atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back!

Randomly found the restaurant with a few colleagues while looking for a place to have dinner together. The staff provided great service quickly accommodating our party of 10 people. We tried multiple different meals - vegetarian and meat and everything was delicious. The only meal that wasn’t as great as everything else was the chicken biryani.
