I visited your restaurant and, unfortunately, I was not fully satisfied with the quality of service and food.<br><br>The vegetables served with the meat were cold. It seemed that they were prepared in advance and not freshly grilled at the same time as the shashlik or kebab. Normally, grilled vegetables are served hot, so this raised concerns about the quality of the serving process.<br><br>The chicken meat looked fine on the outside, however, it was too moist inside. The texture gave the impression that it was not fully cooked. This negatively affected the overall impression of the dish.<br><br>Only personal utensils were provided when serving the salad and main dishes. However, no shared serving utensils were provided — such as a spoon for communal use or tongs for transferring food to individual plates. This created some inconvenience during the meal.<br><br>I hope the restaurant management will take these comments into account and take steps to improve both food quality and service.

Derwish Mediterranean Restaurant is our go-to place. The food, atmosphere, and service are always amazing. I had the Beyti Sarma, which was freshly made and absolutely delicious. My husband ordered the Iskender, and it was to die for; made from the best döner meat I’ve had so far. We also enjoyed dessert—rice pudding, cheesecake, and kazandibi—and all of them were delicious. If you’re looking for an authentic Turkish restaurant, this is the place. You won’t be disappointed. Thank you again, Derwish!

We had a wonderful dinner at Derwish Turkish Restaurant with my wife, our son, and his girlfriend. We started with fried calamari, fried calf’s liver and lahmacun as appetizers—they were excellent. I had the Iskender, made with real doner meat in layers (not ground meat), and it was absolutely delicious. Everyone else ordered different Turkish dishes, and they all loved their meals as well.<br><br>For dessert, we tried rice pudding, cheesecake, baklava, and kazandibi—each one was amazing and a perfect ending to the meal. The servers were friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. Great food and great service—we truly enjoyed everything and will definitely be back!

One of my favorite places to eat when I’m in Brooklyn. I love Turkish food and though there are many options in the area this is always my go to. First if they have a parking lot which I have yet to come in and not find a spot. Most important the food is so amazing and filled with flavor, my favorite dish being the Adana Kebab. The staff are wonderful, attentive and accommodating. Many deserts to choose from all fantastic but my favorite is their kunefe. Always like to follow up dinner with their hookah. They have a master hookah barista who I just let surprise me with his flavor mixes and he never disappoints. We recently booked a small birthday party and they were so accommodating and we got a lot of compliments for the food and location. Highly recommend!

Good food, better menu options under new management, same great staff that offer warm and welcoming service

A brand new spot called Derwish Restaurant just opened up, and on my friend’s insistent recommendation, I headed straight there—and boy, am I glad I did! You pick your super-fresh fish right from the display case and order it grilled or pan-fried to absolute perfection. It’s a total flavor explosion, with amazing mezes and salads on the side. The atmosphere is pure bliss: dim lights, chic decor, soft music in the background… Every bite screams “this is it!” An experience that’s an absolute must—highly recommend it, fish lovers don’t miss out! 🐟✨

I had a gyro in pita at this place, and honestly, the taste was out of this world! The meat was so tender and juicy that it melted in my mouth with every bite. The spices were perfectly balanced, the pita warm and super fresh… Plus, the place is sparkling clean—I felt completely at ease with the hygiene. 😊 It’s just a simple gyro, but made with so much care that it felt like my mom wrapped it at home. The price is fair too, and I’m thrilled to have found a new spot—I’ll be back with peace of mind. Definitely stop by; don’t miss this flavor! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

OMG! The best gyro came after a big balloon bread, the gyro was the juiciest and real meat gyro not fake oily ones! The salad was fresh and delicious with their most delicious Turkish rice. Followed by real Turkish tea and coffee and their big variety of desserts all for an affordable price. Am going to come back and try their multiple fish dishes too!

While walking down the street, my stomach was growling, and then I spotted this döner place… That heavenly smell, the spotless counter, the döner slowly turning and browning… It just pulled me in. 😌 I usually avoid it because of my cholesterol, but this time I told myself, “just this once.” I ordered a dürüm wrap and a cold ayran on the side. The first bite made my eyes close in bliss—it was that delicious! The meat was melt-in-your-mouth tender, the lavash warm and fresh, everything just perfect… It tasted so heartfelt, like it was made at home with love. In that moment, I realized we all owe ourselves these little joys sometimes. 💛 This place doesn’t just sell döner—it sells happiness. I’ll be back with a happy heart. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Beatiful place! Everybody so polite and welcoming. They have parking lot they is so convenient in Brooklyn. Food is fresh and delicious, tuna salad is out of this world. Drinks so refreshing taste just right on point. Defenitely coming back❤️❤️❤️❤️

The food was exceptional, especially the mixed grill and the staff were attentive and friendly throughout the meal. It was a perfect evening! Will come back again for sure
