I’m writing this review because of the frustrating experience my family and I had at this Denny’s. We arrived around 12:20 pm and were seated right away. The hostess noticed our booth was wet and had a busser clean it, which he did quickly and very politely. By 12:44 pm, no server had come to our table, even though other customers who arrived after us were already being helped. I went to the front desk to let the hostess know we’d been waiting over 20 minutes to which she said she would notify our server.<br>At about 12:49 pm, a server named Laura finally came over. She did not introduce herself or apologize for the wait time and seemed annoyed while taking our order. Our drinks arrived shortly after, but our food never did. While we waited, we saw Laura serving other tables and chatting with coworkers, but she never even bothered to check on us. A few times we tried to get her attention, and she completely ignored us. At that point, it really felt like we were being avoided, possibly because we had asked about the wait. By around 1:30 pm, after being there for over an hour without being served our food, we decided to leave. We didn’t feel comfortable complaining again because we were worried it might affect our food. We went to the front desk and explained that we were leaving due to not getting our food despite being there for over an hour. The hostess apologized and got Laura, who suddenly said our food was ready. We declined, paid for our drinks and left.<br>Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and we won’t be returning to this Denny’s.
