This place has been on my list for a while now and so glad we got to come here on my most recent visit to NYC. It makes sense why they’re consistently rated among the best bars in the world, but don’t sleep on the food either. We had a few great dishes and a perfect spring pea risotto yesterday that really hit the spot. All the cocktails were perfect as well.

This place is great! Such a good vibe. I love pulling up to this place on my motorcycle just to grab a drink + bite with my buddy and be on my merry way. Also, a perfect spot to do a double date & have a great conversation. It’s one of those places, you just can’t go wrong!
Just an amazing setting and experience. Bartenders are top shelf to go along with the drinks. I went with a Negroni and can't wait to visit again. Highly recommend. Perfect place to bring your wife or date or unwind.
We had a nice experience here so I have to give 5 stars. I have always wanted to come here but had a hard time finding a reservation and never wanted to wait. Made a 430 reservation thru Resy. After booking I realized that they didn’t start serving food until 5, so I e mailed the restaurant and they kindly moved it to 5 pm. We were able to sit inside in a cute corner booth which was great because we were both celebrating our birthday.

We didn’t get drinks but ordered an early dinner. We split a salad and I had the truffle risotto and he had the pork chop. We also shared the broccolini. Everything was fresh and delicious. The pasta size was enough where I couldn’t eat all of it. The pork chop was cooked well. The broccolini was super spicy but still great. We didnt get dessert but they brought both of us a piece of tiramisu which was nice. The tiramisu was delicious and just what you would expect.

Would come back here again, but will always make sure to have a reservation. It would also be fun sitting outside during the summer.
Had brunch at Dante and it was such a great experience. The food was delicious, the cocktails were amazing, and the atmosphere was lively and beautiful. Perfect spot for a relaxed brunch in the city. Service was friendly and everything came out quickly. Definitely recommend!
Pretty rare for a place to sincerely live up to the hype, but this spot surely did. Didn’t eat a full dinner, but had some snacks and some drinks and everything was solid all around.

My favorites from the night were the Verde Flatbread and between the Grasshopper and Pear Negroni. Their tiramisu was also top notch, but I feel like that’s just expected. I’d never had Flourless Chocolate Cake before this, but from what I could tell they did a great job with it.

The vibe inside is also top notch. Already thinking about another reservation for actual dinner. Super solid, definitely worth every dollar.
Went to an event with prefixed menu. Amazing service, food and drinks. Enjoyed flatbread/pizza, salad, red snapper, burata. Cocktails were great. Ambiance is great though a little bit cramped in areas. If you don't mind, it actually adds to the intimate setting in a romantic and pleasant way. Appreciated the attentive service.
A classic neighborhood restaurant. Sooooo many Negroni options! Great for lunch - very laid back vibe. The chicory salad is delicious and satisfying in the winter.
Hit Rafetto’s down the block and around the corner after lunch and pick up fresh pasta cut for you and made on the premises!
🇮🇹
Café Dante in the West Village is an absolute gem! I stopped by for a casual evening and had a few appetizers along with a drink, and everything was delicious. I started with the mozzarella appetizer, which was fresh, creamy, and perfectly seasoned — a fantastic start to the meal. Each bite felt thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor.

The drinks were equally impressive. The cocktails are carefully crafted, balanced, and enjoyable, making it clear that the bar program is taken seriously here. The staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which added to the overall relaxed and enjoyable experience.

Beyond the food and drinks, the restaurant itself is such a vibe. The location in the West Village is perfect, and the decor combines classic charm with modern touches, creating an inviting and stylish atmosphere. Whether you’re looking for a place to sit for a leisurely meal or just a few drinks with friends, it feels comfortable and lively at the same time.

Café Dante really delivers on all fronts: great food, expertly crafted drinks, friendly service, and an ambiance that makes the experience memorable. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy excellent Italian-inspired fare in a beautifully curated West Village setting.
Absolutely love the bar tenders here! So friendly, welcoming and make exceptional cocktails. The cheese platter had an excellent selection. 100% a must visit when heading to NYC! We were able to be seated immediately with no reservation on a Saturday night, maybe luck!
Dante is an absolute MUST-VISIT when you’re in NYC.

Came for brunch and booze, and the Caffè Dante was incredible - it just felt right to order the drink that shares the restaurant’s name. Warm coffee with alcohol, perfect for warming up on a chilly Saturday morning. Their other cocktails also did not disappoint.

The food was solid, but the cocktails were the real standout for me. I ordered the pasta of the day, and the portion was enormous - I genuinely struggled to finish it. They were very generous with both the meat and overall serving size, which made it feel completely worth it.

And the space itself is beautifully decorated - it gives off a classy, whimsical Alice in Wonderland vibe, which made the whole experience even better.

Definitely coming back for more brunch cocktails. 🍸

At opening the restaurant still had seats but it filled up relatively quick, so I do think a reservation would be a good idea.
We recently visited Dante in NYC and had an amazing time. We absolutely loved the cocktails we tried—especially the Fluffy Margarita and the Classic Negroni, both perfectly balanced and full of flavor. Their signature bread and butter and the burgers were also outstanding, far better than we expected for a place known primarily for drinks.

The atmosphere was warm and lively, and the staff were genuinely friendly, which made the whole experience even better. We’re already thinking about going back in the spring to enjoy their outdoor seating, but honestly, we’d return anytime just for those cocktails alone. Highly recommended!
Lovely outdoor seating. Probably the worst avocado toast I have ever had? Zero dimensional if that is even possible. Could not finish / had to dunk in hot sauce!

Over priced & slow service. Wow I sound like a mean grandma!!

I had some derivative of a mimosa and that was good. Helped me tolerate the avo toast!

Dante is a beautiful Italian restaurant with truly well-crafted dishes — definitely a spot worth trying. Even on a weekday evening, it was quite noisy inside, which made it a bit hard to have a relaxed conversation. A quick tip: instead of their famous martinis, I’d recommend trying one of their spritzes — they were more refreshing
Lovely spot. I recommend making a reservation in advance. I don’t normally recommend pasta dishes but they were really delicious with good textured noodles and bright sauces. The drinks were also good. I’m glad I tried one of the ‘fluffy cocktails’ but probably would get another cocktail in the future. The burger was good but not one of the strongest items on the menu.
