Amazing place to have a late lunch! The ambiance is so beautiful and feels like you’re truly in new york city. The pastas were so delicious and the garlic bread with cheese is a huge must.

The Italian restaurant in New York was pretty good overall. The food was tasty, and the service was good and friendly. However, the atmosphere could have been better because it was a bit noisy since the restaurant is located right next to the road. The restrooms were downstairs and did not feel very comfortable or modern. Also, the orange juice had a little too much ice in it. Overall, it was still a nice experience and a decent place to visit.

Handmade pasta being made in front of you, that is absolute perfection. The staff were amazing with a warm inviting atmosphere. The best restaurant we’ve visited since being in NYC. Quality amazing, staff amazing, location amazing… do yourself a favor and take a visit here. Your heart and stomach will be full. And a bonus the owners are there making sure they check in And make sure your happy. We will be back before the end of our trip.

Our server was Victor.R … He was very polite and attentive and was absolutely brilliant. What a fantastic asset to the restaurant!<br>The food was brilliant. I had the prawn carbonara which was literally one of the best, if not the best meal I ever had. My wife had the lasagne which was also fantastic.<br>Food arrived quick, hot, and very tasty.<br>Prices are great!! If I lived in Manhatten (I’m from the UK) I would come here every weekend for food!<br>Don’t change anything!! 10/10 as you are!

Celebrated Tracy’s 50th in Little Italy 🇮🇹 and we couldn’t have picked a better spot than Da Gennaro!<br><br>From the moment we sat down, the atmosphere was exactly what you want—lively, welcoming, and full of that authentic Italian charm. It felt like a proper New York experience right in the heart of Little Italy.<br><br>The food was spot on—fresh pasta, rich sauces, and portions that definitely didn’t disappoint! Everything came out full of flavour, and of course we had to finish with dessert… absolutely worth it.<br><br>The staff were brilliant too—friendly, attentive, and really made a fuss of Tracy for her big 5-0 which made the night even more special 🎉<br><br>All in all, an unforgettable evening with great food, great service, and even better company. If you’re in Little Italy and fancy a proper Italian meal, Da Gennaro is a must! 🍝🍷

The restaurant is amazing, the pasta is incredibly fresh and the service is truly outstanding, especially thanks to Douglas and Elvis, who made the experience even better. I had a divine pappardelle with shrimp that was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!

My sister and I always come back to this amazing restaurant. We use to have the prosciutto pizza, our favorite, but last time we got the carbonara and we loved it. The cocktails were pretty tasty, specially the godfather! The ambience is comfy and the staff is really friendly and helpful. Mateo made the experience way better with his attention. We were so satisfied. Definitely will come back as we do.

Victor served us and was so very amazing! He was consistently so kind and checked up on us to make sure we were taken care of and answered all our questions. The chicken fettuccine Alfredo is the best I’ve ever had and I’m extremely picky about the pasta I try. I’ll definitely be back for more everytime I’m in the city!

I always have an incredible time here. The food came out quickly and very hot. I ordered the burrata truffle paccheri and the sauce was delectably creamy. My mom ordered the shrimp and pesto pappardelle, which she said was very fresh, hot and flavorful. Our server Elvis was very attentive. The manager Elvis checked on us multiple times and brought us a cannoli on the house. He shared a bit of history about the restaurant and told some funny jokes. Dining here made for a wonderful afternoon!

You can tell this place is run with care.<br><br>Doug, the general manager, sets the tone for the entire restaurant. He was attentive, professional, and clearly passionate about making sure every guest had a memorable experience. It’s rare to see leadership that’s both hands-on and sincerely invested in hospitality and it shows in every detail.<br><br>Our waiter, Aldrin, was outstanding. Friendly without being overbearing, knowledgeable about the menu, and spot-on with his recommendations. He made us feel like valued guests rather than just another table. Timing was perfect, service was smooth, and he checked in just enough to make sure everything was flawless.<br><br>As for the food phenomenal. Every dish tasted fresh, authentic, and thoughtfully prepared. The pasta was cooked perfectly, the sauces were rich and balanced, and the flavors felt like they came straight from Italy. Even the small touches the bread, the presentation, the pacing of the courses were done beautifully.<br><br>This wasn’t just dinner; it was an experience. Between Doug’s leadership, Aldrin’s exceptional service, and the incredible food, this restaurant absolutely exceeded expectations. I can’t wait to come back.

First time visiting this restaurant and was a delightful experience. The host outside was so attentive and explained to us the menu, also my daughter had question and he was nice with her and invited us to get into the restaurant. Our visited was February 13th around noon and the place was not full. We tried cheese pizza, lasagna and spaghetti bolognese. Great attention, super fast and delicious meals. Price accordingly to the place and location. Service was great also. Recommend and definitely will come back when visit New York City again.
