Enjoyed breakfast after a matinee. Food was tasty and the staff was welcoming. It was busy but there was no delay in getting seated or served. Will go back gladly!

Despite some bad reviews we stopped in because it was directly on our way to the August Wilson theater and we needed breakfast fast. Not only was it fast but the staff checked in on us no less than 5 times. The coffee was really good and top ups offered many times. The prices were alright for such big plates and we all liked what we had. It’s clean and bright and energetic without feeling like a neon assault like many diners. Glad for the convenient location and attentive staff!
Generous portions and classic diner food, although a bit overpriced for what it is. The service was correct and efficient, sometimes a little too fast, making the experience feel somewhat rushed. One thing that surprised me was the extra charge for paying with a credit card, something that wasn’t clearly expected. Overall, decent option if you’re in the area and looking for large portions, but not particularly memorable.
I went to the Cosmic dinner on 5/16/26. I had the pastrami sandwich it was very good , al I need with onion rings. There was a group of us about 25 us every one enjoyed the food. Billy took our order 10 thumbs up to him. He had a great personality, was very patient & kind t o us all is will definitely go back.

I
The breakfast burrito was perfection! My coffee cup stayed topped off, and the owner/mgr was humming Oh Christmas Tree in Feb (that made me love it even moreso). Great stop for breakfast in the city.
Decent diner with good food. I would say slightly overpriced for what it is. We paid $50 USD including tip.
Definitely a tourist spot for convenience, the service was good and diner was clean. This place has lots of broadway signed photos too. Unfortunately the portions are small, food was pretty good (ordered eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast) and pricey considering there are better options in the area.
Visited on a snowy Saturday for brunch before a show. We had a 2 min wait for a table for 2. Service was like clockwork. Everyone was friendly and the manager worked like the conductor of an orchestra and greeter. The food was prepared fresh and portion sizes just right. Fast and efficient service without us feeling rushed.
A warm welcome the second we walked in the door. By the time we ordered until food on the tables about seven minutes. We there on a busy afternoon. We walked in the door with no weight at all. Staff was very attentive. When they come back to New York, we’ll definitely eat here again one of those affordable places I’ve seen in the city to eat.
Pretty good food, the waffles and shake were good. While not the best its certainly a convenient place, I would return to try more dishes. Get ready to be full
Simple but great!
Not fancy, just a diner that does its job really well.
Friendly staff, clean place, and tasty, no-fuss food. 🍽️
This is a great local diner in midtown on 8th ave. The place is clean, service is fast and efficient and the food quality is great.
This is a quality example of what a "local Diner" should be. Its been around for ages and caters to the people who live nearby, the stagehands who work the Broadway theatres and talk show venues and to the tourists wise enough to walk slightly farther from Times Square to get a meal.
Today I had the Corned Beef Hash and over medium eggs. Everything was cooked perfectly, the english muffin was oversized and they even have marmalade instead of the grape jelly.
The service was quick, polite and efficient while the price was beyond fair for a New York City Brunch.

This place is worth going to if you want a decent meal at a reasonable NYC price served by people who are good at what they do.

Yup, its a great NYC local diner.
We stopped in on a Saturday morning I didn't have any problem being seated immediately. The place was very clean and the service was excellent. Typical Diner menu. I got the western omelette with hash browns and I would definitely eat there again. My wife got the oatmeal that came with strawberries on it. There were actually a lot more strawberries, but by the time I took the picture, most of them were gone! I think I counted 12 on there before she began eating.
This is a great spot! We went in at 8:30am on a Saturday with no wait. The staff was very friendly and attentive. A man who we believe was the owner stopped by our table several times to make sure everything was good, which it was! My boyfriend said they made the best cup of coffee he's had on our vacation (and had 3 cups). I got french toast and he got pancakes with over-easy eggs. The food was cooked just right; the portions were generous but not too much; and everything tasted great. We'll definitely be back, and we highly recommend!
Loved the veggie burger. Fries were tasty too. Hash brown could have used a bit more seasoning. Ambience is very warm. Overall we had a good time.
