Ordered steak and shrimp to find the shrimp tasted like sea water and wasn't deveined. Steak was bland and gamey and tasted terrible. I ended up barely eating and throwing out the food. If they walk past you and see you've barely touched the food, they should ask what's wrong with it. That's basic customer service. We paid, tipped and left, but extremely disappointing. The least they can do it reach out to rectify the situation by offering a refund or a comp meal.

My In-laws really love this place. It was delicious and we had a very friendly server. I had chicken with rice and coleslaw. The yuca fries were fire.
This place is a true local gem that’s been around for years—and there’s a reason it’s always packed! I love coming here for breakfast. The service is fast, the food is consistently fresh, and every bite tastes just as good as the last time I visited. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu—it’s all delicious.
I really liked chicken pea soup. Had it twice and both times it was delicious. $8 for soup isn’t bad. $12 for soup, rice and salad. I was not able to finish it by myself, so I wrapped it to go. Atmosphere is very nice.
This place was great 10-15 years ago; It seemed so new and all. Now the decoration, the menu and ambiance are dated and dusty. The food is underwhelming and very expensive. BE AWARE: If you’re paying with debit or credit charge, they charge an extra 4% for banking fees and transactions.
This is my dad’s favorite place . The only place we all go together . We went for my mom’s/baby birthday and we had fun! I enjoyed my favorite dish , entraña . And sangria so good.
I been coming to cositas ricas for over 20 years, today Thursday I came with my family, my wife and my 3 kids, nothing has changed in fact it's actually better, let me start with the service, 100% professional and polite, the food absolutely delicious also 100%
The place always clean 100%
The prices are real down to earth, not cheap but not expensive for what you get,
We had the skirt steak (entraña) I should do a Spanish review lol,
We also had another skirt steak but a little different, look at the pictures, also the parihuana a seafood creamy soup, empanadas, chicken tenders with fries,
Shakes,
Well,,,,, we enjoy our evening,
100% recommend
Party of 5 $150 not bad at all
Check out my full review on Yelp!

We popped by this spot for a late dinner and loved it! It's very busy and popular and seems to be a local favorite. Our waitress was very sweet and answered all our questions and made great recommendations. We tried the Lomo de Cerdo a la Parrilla, Repollina al Patron, and Arepa Combinacion and had the Lulo and Burojo for drinks. Everything was delicious! The food is well made and seasoned, and the portion size is very generous. I highly recommend!
This is Colombian restarurant and the food is great. I have been there more than 20x times and everything is good. Some time it’s very noisy. The employees are great and the manager very nice. For example the location was too cool and I told him to lower it and I took longer saying it, and the guy was on it. The only thing that I didn’t like was or is that the bathroom always smell nasty. The place needs a little painting.

I would rate it 5 stars. The food is actually delicious. I’ve tried 5 different things and I’ve liked everything! They know how to make it tasty, and fresh. The portion is huge and you pay for what you get, never finish everything on my plate. Natural juices are very good. I would give it 5 stars but they need to give the place a better Colombian look.

This place has been in business for many years already in queens. Their food taste has not change nothing at all. Same good and delicious flavor. Prices per place are average. Totally recommend.

The service was excellent! We were seated almost immediately even though the place was pretty packed. Our server was very friendly, attentive and quick. Everyone else in my party loved their food but I thought my dish was just okay. Usually I love Colombian food but this fell a bit short.
