Usually love going here, but I am totally turned off. Ordered two burgers, one of them being beef and the burger had shrimp on it. Not just one or two, we are talking about 6 to 8 of them. I have family members that are severely allergic to shellfish, so for this to be on a regular beef burger, it was concerning. Called in to speak to the manager, Neo, to say that this incident had happened and better care needed to be used when preparing food. He was so dismissive and rude. He said that all the beef burgers now had shrimp on them, which firstly is a flat out lie because if you look at the menu till this day it does not say shrimp is on the burgers. And secondly, what establishment will make that a norm for a regular burger without disclosing it. I mentioned that we ordered from the menu online and he went on to say well it changed and hung up the phone. I want to support businesses in my neighborhood and Corner Social have been dropping the ball when it comes to the inconsistency with the quality of food and you can tell when different chefs made the order (ex, one day the fries are good and the next a soggy mess). I had family members tell me to stop going here and I always wanted to continue to support, but to make a mistake like this, and not own up to it. A mistake that could literally kill someone since they are obviously not cleaning and separating the grill for shellfish orders vs no shellfish orders. They are just asking for an incident to happen at this point :(

The place has a nice atmosphere with lots of folks and a DJ. I went at a time when a private party was there. We were timed at our visit 90mins. I felt a little rushed. The seafood pasta was ok not enough sauce or flavor. The salmon was tasty however the mashed potatoes was from the box. The lamb was the best thing on the menu and cooked to perfection. Our waitress was very sweet and kind.

I never really dined in this establishment. I usually go when it kind of becomes a lounge. It's a pretty decent crowd that goes there. Sometimes it's usually a hassle to get a drink at the bar because the space is not really set up for much traffic by the bar area. They usually have a pretty good DJ that is playing pretty good music. And as far as food goes I only had the chicken rolls their which are great they come with guac and sour cream and I believe pico de gallo

Great bar/restaurant! Great service and great music! I wish they had a lounge area since bar gets filled so quick, but Great outing nonetheless! Jesus is a great bartender! All his drinks come out great!

Usually, chicken and waffles come in the form of separate items laid on top of each other. This was my first time seeing a chicken and waffles sandwich on a menu, and so I had to try it out.<br><br>This was certainly interesting.<br>I think the combination worked, but with some caveats.<br>Firstly, the waffles were on the drier side. The best waffles are waffles you can eat without syrup or any additions and be perfectly happy, but this wasn't that. They were slightly fluffy, but not very much so. What this meant was that initially, the sandwich lacked moisture and felt somewhat bland.<br>We asked for maple syrup - which oddly wasn't given to us by default - and this significantly improved the experience. While this rendered us unable to eat it like a normal sandwich (unless you want the stickiest hands in existence), the fork and knife wasn't a bad substitute. It mostly stayed together. The maple syrup added a ton of sweetness and moisture which was desperately needed due to the waffle being on both sides.<br><br>The chicken was really good though. It was chicken thigh - a much better idea in this case than going with chicken breast. The outside was a beautiful golden brown color and highly crispy. Just as far as the chicken in chicken and waffles, it's some of the best I've had that isn't fried in breadcrumbs.<br><br>The home fries were not good. They were too soft, underseasoned, and not very appealing.<br><br>On the form function of this sandwich, I'm a little mixed. If you end up eating with a fork and knife anyway, why not just have chicken and waffles the normal way? You get more of the waffle this way, but in my opinion the main focus should be on the chicken. I thought this version was still fine though<br><br>For the price, it's actually cheaper than I expected at less than 20 dollars. The portion size is pretty large.<br><br>Overall, it's a novelty but I did still enjoy the experience. 7.5/10

This is a full five star rating because it was really that. From the food to the service to the atmosphere, this is THE place to go. I ordered the chicken and waffles with turkey bacon, and it was gone before the waiter left our table 😂 In all seriousness, if you are lookin’ for solid music and a chill little vibe, then try this place out. You will not be disappointed!

Went during Happy Hour for dinner with my daughter. One observation to note is that the waiter tried more than once to direct our attentions to the main menu as opposed to the Happy Hour menu. We ordered a couple of apps, drinks as well and entrees. The Broiled salmon with broccoli & mashed potatoes was flavorful and cooked nicely to the level of doneness that my daughter requested. The Garlic Parmesan Wings were tasty but served with blue cheese dressing that didn’t pair well. ( Note the Wings are on both the Happy Hour menu as well as the regular menu & if you don’t clarify they will give you the more costly option). I requested a side of ranch that offset the saltiness of the Garlic Parmesan better.<br>The Spinach dip with Warm Tortilla chips are to die for; periodt! I had the Fish & Chips substituted sweet potato fries for an additional cost.( I was not informed) Not sorry the sweet potato fries were the star. Actually better than the fish! It was over salted and I’ve had better beer battered fish before. There was a 20% tip included in the bill. Don’t love that but the service was not exceptional but decent. Overall a nice dining experience but more pricey than I remember from my last visit. Nearly $200 for an evening out with my daughter. What made the evening exceptional was more so the ambiance and the company.

Great vibe...totally accommodating! Juanita was welcoming. Drinks are good and the GM Craig was on point. Visiting from Chicago and I'll definitely recommend and double back when I return. Highlight of my visit to NYC!!!

Delicious vibe! While visiting Harlem from outta town, I had to try this gem. I ordered the shrimp and grits and they were tasty and so was my cocktail. Next time I come through I’m definitely trying the rest of the menu!

I always have a good time at corner Social. The music Is always boppin. As long as I’ve been coming here, I just learned a happy hour - $10 Apps and drinks. However, a happy hour food is only worth it if you’re getting a deal. The wings are regular price there’s just fewer of them- For for $10 when a full order is six for 15. A real deal would be to have AT LEAST 5 Five wings for $10. I still enjoy it here, but maybe give people a deal. It’s hard out here today.

2nd time dining at Corner Social. Wanted to take my husband after the 1st dining here with my best friend. The food and drinks were delicious, and the ambiance and music were amazing. Same for my 2nd visit except for the shrimp and grits. The first time I ordered it, it was great. No complaints. The 2nd time during this visit, the grits were so lumpy and hard like they were sitting or rushed. I would still return because it's a great vibe, and I love the food options. Just note that the shrimp and grits are hit or miss.

I went there to celebrate a friend's birthday. We were well cared for by our waitress. The DJ had us rocking on the floor the whole time. It was a good vibe. Food was tasty and in good portion. We were all happy.

My cousin and I came here for dinner last week. I had been 1 other time about 6 years ago and remember it fondly. This time, it did not disappoint. We ordered rum-based drinks, and she got the steak with collars and mashed potatoes while I enjoyed the salmon burger with fries and a side of brussel sprouts. The food was excellent, and our server, Jose, was magnificent. The music and ambiance were stellar. Thank you for a great dinner experience!
