Cornbread Brooklyn

Large portions and delicious food! The ribs were tender and full of flavor, and the mac & cheese, collard greens, and yams were all amazing. Can’t forget the cornbread! We all ordered the pork ribs and every plate was delicious. Definitely coming back!

The food was good, greens need seasoning, turkey wings tough but seasoned well, the most delicious was the cornbread, potato salad, yams and home made drinks. Yummy yum

We drove here from Philly. I googled this place and we decided to stop. The catfish and the chicken was superb!! I took my cobbler to go but I will definitely be back!!

Stopped by for a quick work lunch and had the best catfish. Super crispy, flavorful and the hot sauce was a plus. Staff was super friendly and incredibly helpful. The music is such a vibe. We decided to eat outside since the weather was so nice.

Food was plentiful and the price was decent. The customer service was also pleasant. I really enjoyed the catfish and cornbread but the mac n cheese and potato salad was slightly underwhelming. However, Overall a nice experience.

The food was really good! Cornbread on point, collard greens just right, and others were great too. My ONLY critique is that the yams could have been slightly less sweeter. Otherwise great environment and the staff was so helpful!

I Love Cornbread Restaurant. The Place Is Clean, Sitting Is Good And The Menu Is Great. Tania, Aniah, and Jesus Are Great. Their Hospitality Is Great and They Definitely Make You Feel Welcomed. I Highly Recommend This Place To Anyone Who Wants Delicious Soul Food.

DJ Jeff and I went here to get some soul food and content. We left with more than what we bargained for. We had turkey wings, rice w/ gravy, collard greens, cabbage, mac & cheese, yams, and potato salad. Everything was bussin' !! Everything was seasoned, fresh, and the portion sizes were definitely were worth every penny!! Will definitely be back to try the chicken and waffles, ribs, and oxtails!! We washed it all down with their 2 specialty drinks and it did not disappoint!! The staff was super nice!! The place and bathroom was clean. They paid attention to detail and it didn't go unnoticed!! Thanksgiving vibes in February!!

I wanted to give this place a 5 star so bad, however the turkey wings was super dry and rough. As per photo, when I was eating the turkey wing and fighting to get meat off the bone I almost chip my tooth and scraped the top of my mouth with the bone pictured. I was able to eat one wing and I donated the rest to the trash can. Great staff and lovely atmosphere, the food for me wasn’t it.

I had an amazing experience during my visit! Sylvia was my server, and she was absolutely incredible. She was very polite, super fast with her service, and consistently checked in to make sure everything was perfect while I ate. I watched her clean tables and thoroughly sweep floors as soon as guests left—she was on top of everything! What really made her stand out was how persistent, humble, and genuinely caring she was.<br><br>The manager was just as wonderful—so sweet, always present, and attentive without even being asked. You could tell she really cared about the workers, guests and the flow of the restaurant.<br><br>And the food… WOW. It was almost too good to be true! Just look at my plate—I ordered two pieces of chicken and was given four! Everything was so filling, flavorful, and generously served. They definitely don’t hold back on portions.<br><br>The atmosphere made the whole experience unforgettable. The vibe was breathtaking, the music was fun and engaging, and the food literally made you want to dance along with it! 😍✨️<br><br>I’ll definitely be back for more. Cornbread Brooklyn is one of those spots you try once and immediately start planning your next visit. I’m still thinking about the cornbread. It was warm, soft, slightly sweet, and honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. I caught myself smiling at the table because it was just that good.<br><br>The rest of the food had the same level of care. Everything was well-seasoned, fresh, and clearly made with intention. The portions were generous and the service felt warm and genuine. The whole experience felt like comfort.<br><br>If you want real soul food done right, Cornbread Brooklyn is a must. And definitely get the cornbread. You’ll be thinking about it too.

It was my family’s first time at Cornbread and we absolutely loved it! The chicken was well cooked and tender, the yams were just right, oh and the cornbread was on point. The service was excellent and so friendly! We will add this to our list to repeat!!!!!!!

I was at work during lunchtime, and I wasn't quite sure what to eat near my job. I asked my sister, 'Hey, what should I eat?' I decided to check Uber Eats for something different. She asked, 'Do you want some soul food?' and I said yes. She recommended trying cornbread, so I gave it a shot, and I was hooked! I told myself I had to visit cornbread in person to see the atmosphere and experience the real hype. When I finally went to cornbread, I was so happy—everything was delicious! The environment was warm and inviting, and the music, a soulful mix of R&B and oldies, really set the mood. Kizzy, the young lady taking my order, was so friendly and delightful. This place truly has a cozy, family vibe, and I definitely look forward to going back a few more times. Let me not forget to mention that they have options you can eat inside or outside
