Connolly’s Pub was such a great experience. The food was amazing — I had the French Dip sandwich and omg, I can’t wait to go back just for that alone. It paired perfectly with a Magners on tap, which made the whole meal even better.

Our server was super sweet and attentive throughout.

The only small downside was a few loud people, especially since it wasn’t overcrowded at the time, but it didn’t take away too much from the overall experience. Definitely a spot I’d go back to!

My favorite Irish pub in the city. It has a real homey feel and the beer selection on tap is excellent. It’s in the middle of the touristy area but it’s not a tourist trap coming from someone that lives in the area. Barry the bartender will make you feel like you know him forever. It’s a Christmas time tradition to come here.
The private wedding celebration for our son and new DIL and 230 guests on Connolly's second floor was GREATLY enjoyed by all! This was the dream Irish pub after-party!!! Connolly's East, with Ardell capably at the helm of expert event management, could not be a better venue for a fun, well-run large Irish pub event celebration. What a pro! Months of efficient, easy planning and clear communications with Ardell were 100 percent seamless as was the big night. Unlimited, tasty and varied food selections and unlimited bar drinks were generous and masterfully served. We had booked an Irish band that was totally in their element, knocking it out of the park for the crowd. Ardell and the wonderful, well-oiled staff including right-hand Katy took care of us and mastered many super-helpful details to improve everyone's experience - e.g. early floor clear-out/clean-up (on busiest Sat night of year/Christmas season); private party signage; florals re-hanging (mingled with existing attractive holiday greens/lighting); ample set-up of tables/chairs and open floor space; nut-free prep as requested; courteous yet controlled security with greeting/flow management/wristbands; welcome/congrats of newlyweds at arrival with surprise champagne flutes; and periodic check-ins/help throughout the evening. Bartenders were topnotch too: very efficient, positive, and warm. We could not recommend Connolly's more enthusiastically for a large pub-based celebration/private event. From the start of planning to the end of an incredibly fun, heartwarming, festive night at Connolly's, it was an OUTSTANDING and unforgettable experience for all of us!
We had 9 people (kids under 10 and elderly people needing assistance) in our party and we were seated and served 10 out of 10. Refills and the food came out the same time. everyone got what they ordered. the food was delicious. Shepard's pie and salmon were perfect.
This is the coziest pub in Midtown. A changing room for the baby. Large round tables for groups. High heat to warm you up. Food is expected.
I love this spacious midtown pub, which is conveniently located within walking distance of Grand Central Terminal.

Connolly's also gets super festive during the holiday season with decorations and music.

A great place to unwind after a long day in the city. TVs, an extensive bar, and a food menu to boot. 💯
Food was ok, but pre made Potatos? They tasted like where done hours ago if not days. Eggs were ok and came out fast . Pie was hot and tasty.
The meal I had here was worth every penny spent. This restaurant creates pleasant feelings and attracts a fun crowd. The flavors work perfectly! The meal presentation and employee professionalism stood out. I advise trying this restaurant.
Great atmosphere and service and pretty decent food. They serve authentic Irish dishes and beer. There’s a jukebox. There’s heaps of seating and different sections too. While the restaurant shuts at 11, the bar is open till way later
Our server Sasha was great as was the bartender Ronan.
It was a alright restaurant.
Went to see a Broadway show and spontaneously came into this restaurant to grab something to eat.
Burger was over cooked and fries really didn't have much seasoning. Beer was warm and fish didn't have much taste.
Atmosphere was amazing with the music, people by the bar having a great time, and the pub was beautiful.
Waitress needed to be asked to refill my drink as she was sitting up front playing on her phone most of our time there.
If you're just needing something quick to eat then its a fine place to go but if you're looking for somewhere to eat that you'll remember-this ones not the place.
We went to plenty of Irish pubs on our NY trip and this was one of the best. The fella who served us was very friendly and enjoyed a chat. The food was good and so was the beer. The place had a nice atmosphere. A welcoming little spot in the heart of the city.
If you’re looking for a stellar Irish pub, Connolly’s is it. Great beer selection. Irish bartenders. Two floors. Plenty of TVs. Perfect for a gathering or to watch a sports event. Ideal for a pint of whatever you fancy.
I had the chicken pot pie and it was delicious! My husband had the Gaelic Burger and it was very yummy. The service was fast (dishes were served within 15 minutes from ordering) and the food was blasting hot!! Quality of the food was very fresh.
Nice Friday afternoon weekend vibe!
As far as Irish Pubs go this place is a machine. You can tell that at some point on a Friday afternoon every nook and cranny of this joint is packed with working stiffs grabbing a beverage before heading home.

The drinking starts early here but fortunately the food is surprisingly good.

There is an unfortunate smell of cleaning products but I guess better that than the alternative.

I had a shepherds pie that was bizarrely decorated with a potato chip but it tasted great. Service is on point and can clearly handle any size crowd.

You would be hard pressed to find an angle that doesn’t have a tv so if there is a game to watch I am confident you could watch it here.

Most importantly, the Guinness is served perfectly. As it should be.
We ended up going here twice because the vibe was super welcoming! Was happy to finally find my stout beer too! They have a variety of food options. From finger food that you can nibble on to proper filling meals! We ordered crab cakes, the shrimp pasta, chicken dumplings and two of their cocktails. Oh, and the cocktails are a must-try! Ask any of the servers, they're all friendly and happy to help. P.S. This is also one of the places that's open till 1-2am!
