We ate there after my sins graduation from NYU TISHE ACADAMY and a Masters degree.
Five of us. The plates were full of fantastic tasting food. Not one complaint. I had a burger, huge on the bun, over a half in thick and smothered in fried onion and peppers. Pickles and tomatoes to the side. The best burger I have ever had in my 71 years. I drank the Red Sangria, two glasses.
The people working were super super friendly. Never in the way meaning they didn't hover or rush us. I'll go there again if ever I get to Brooklyn again.

Not exaggerating when I say this place might be one of the best brunch spots in Brooklyn. Great servers, not too loud, food and mimosas were FIRE. Highly recommend getting a pancake just to try. The Benedict was perfect… I think I’m in love
Clark's is a casual diner in the Brooklyn Heights area. They have been servicing the area since the 80's and remain for good reason.

We stopped for breakfast and were presented with an extensive selection. The food was good, the portions were generous and the pricing was quite reasonable.

Worth a visit. The service was excellent.
Would have loved to eat here, but they refused to make my order. I requested the chicken parmesan, except I wanted alfredo sauce instead of marinara. After I ordered the manager came to my table and said the kitchen would not do that. I explained that I wanted the breaded chicken cutlet from the chicken parmesan, except I wanted alfredo on the pasta instead of marinara. They flatly refused. They offered fettuccine Alfredo with a side of chicken tenders. When I asked why I couldn't get the culet, I was told they just wouldn't do it. I was willing to pay for the change, but that didn't matter. I've never heard of such a refusal! Very disappointed. Ended up finishing my hot chocolate and moving to another restaurant for my meal.
One of the best places around for a casual, inexpensive (for NYC) breakfast or lunch.
They have a large selection to cater to everyone’s taste.
Don’t be scared to wait for a table.
I have been there a couple of times and enjoyed it both times.
I recommend it.
I stopped by on my last day in New York and ordered a New Yorker. It was a nice experience that really rounded off my trip. I’d definitely come back if I’m ever in NYC again and would recommend it to others.
Elite diner , i bet there’s a line every weekend starting at peak brunch hours but the line moves pretty quickly. The options, staff, and food are all excellent. Milkshakes are absolutely worth it and just a great overall diner
Had a fantastic experience! Classic Brooklyn diner charm with genuinely friendly service and truly delicious food.
A typical Brooklyn restaurant experience. It took us more than 20 minutes to find a parking spot, but we eventually made it. The menu is extensive, offering plenty of options at fairly reasonable prices. The food portions were generous, though nothing particularly remarkable. Overall, a pleasant visit with a clean setting and friendly staff.
First time trying this diner as the queue is always really long once 10am hits. Unfortunately I really disliked my food: scrambled eggs & bacon with 'house potatoes'. The eggs were almost inedible, flat and dry on the outside, slimy and cold on the inside. I wonder if they may have been that liquid egg stuff you can buy, or maybe just bulk made and left under a heat lamp. Either way, did not taste good at all. The potatoes similarly were an odd texture, like mashed potatoes with onions and peppers in. If they had been fried there wasn't much evidence of it. The bacon was ok. Service was excellent, and it's a bustling, obviously popular neighborhood spot. I'd be willing to try it again, and hope that meal was a one off.
When I walked by this lovely little spot the day before on a little Brooklyn adventure and saw their cute patio that had so many folks seated with their pups, I knew I had to check it out! I came back a couple of days later for breakfast. So quiet and calm and the vibe was exactly what you want to start your day! The staff was very kind and professional (I had a lovely conversation with my server) and the food ... WOW. I couldn't even eat half of it! Perfection from start to finish!

*I ordered the Clark's Poached Eggs with Smoked Salmon that came on potato pancakes, with avo and holl sauce. I know.... An easy decision.
Update: on a recent visit the servers seemed to ignore us for 30 mins before giving us a check even after we asked twice. Strange for a pretty small restaurant!

Lovely spot nestled into Brooklyn Heights, conveniently located if youre around and always popular for brunch on weekends. The food quality is good, though relatively standard for diner style brunch.

I liked their french toast and omelettes. When there was a bee flying around the staff took care of it very quickly, which was cool.
Food was good but I wouldn't say it was exceptional. Portions were of a good size and the place was extremely busy on a sunny March end weekend. Service was a bit slow due to the crowds. It took quite some time before we could get someone to take our orders but once they took the order the food didn't take too much time. It was just the second outing with our infant grandchild so we didn't linger for drinks or dessert. Just had a sandwich each and left.
Unfortunately, most of the stuff we hot was either soggy or just very cold. The steaks were okay. The calamari was not crispy nor hot at all. All of our eggs were very average. I did love the fries though. Service was great and the vibe of the place is sweet. Overall, we were REALLY disappointed with the food.
We came here based on reviews and lined up outside to be seated. We waited around 15 minutes and was hosted and welcomed in a friendly manner. The menu was great but the food was not so good. The eggs were just tossed with no presentation and slapped on the plate.

Caffeinated drinks were amazing and as for my friends orange juice, they said it was not good.

Pancakes were amazing. But we were really hungry and wanted good tasting food.
