Red lobster WHO?!?!?! THIS PLACE WAS SPECTACULAR EVERYTHING WAS 10/10 I HAD THE RED SNAPPER AND WHOEVER DEEP FRIED THAT THANG WE WILL PLANT 30 TREES IN YOUR HONOR AND A 3 WEEK ALL EXPENSES PAID TRIP TO JAMAICA FOR U AND ALL YOUR FRIENDS 🧡

As first-time customers, we were excited to visit City Island Lobster House. The food was excellent, and the outdoor seating area provided a beautiful setting to enjoy the meal. We would definitely recommend the food itself.<br><br>Unfortunately, our experience was negatively affected by our server, Stephen. He was not particularly friendly and made us feel unwelcome throughout our visit. Good service can make a big difference, and in this case it took away from what could have been a great dining experience.<br><br>While the food and location were wonderful, the service left us disappointed. We’re not sure if we’ll return or try one of the other restaurants on City Island instead.

The service was definitely the highlight of our visit. Antonio was absolutely amazing!!! Friendly, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of the entire time. The rest of the staff was also very welcoming and provided excellent customer service.<br><br>Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite meet our expectations. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t particularly memorable either. That said, the outstanding service from Antonio and the team made for a pleasant dining experience overall.

This is our favorite restaurant for outdoor dining (and good seafood!) Located on the left when you enter City Island, it takes you away from the madness of the city. We've been coming here literally for deacdes, and it never disappoints. Nautically-themed throughout, you feel like you could be at a favorite local spot on the Cape. The servers immediately place a wonderful salad with balsamic vinaigrette, fresh garlic bread and a cheese plate on the table, all complimentary. Today, Earl was our waiter, and he was super friendly and couldn't be more helpful, as he got our drink orders in quickly. Their ultimate margarita is quite good, and I love their Frankenstein (a blend of 5 rums and fruit juice). Their twin lobster tail is outstanding (I always take home one as there's no way to eat it all!), and comes with baked potato. If watching your calories, the grilled filet if sole is a very good choice. All their seafood is fresh and cooked however you like it (grilled, broiled fried). The restaurant is very large, and their outside deck is coveted in good weather so get there early for lunch or dinner. The deck looks out upon a marina on Long Island Sound, with Orchard Beach to the north. It's so peaceful having your meal there, enjoying the breeze off the water. It's our happy place in the summer!

This is by far my favorite place.<br>The staff is amazing, the food is great and the place is good. I get too caught up with the food I forget to take pics. Been here too many times they treat you like family. Please visit this place l, enjoy the food, the staff are great.

Came here for restaurant week on city island. We were seated fairy quickly. We ordered our food appetizer came out first which is a great thing (pet peeve is when they come out same time as food) the food came everything looked delicious my sister had the special i had the shrimp Alfredo it had plenty of sauce but 0 seasoning. (A hint of obay and a pinch of salt would of set it off) . My sis said she enjoyed her food and the best part was the clam chowder . My mom said hers was good as well but need some more seasoning

My family and I went during City Island's restaurant week. I had the lobster tail , fries , salad ,my husband had the steak which was cooked properly and delicious. My son had chicken tenders and fries . It was very crowded and noisy especially where we sat . I could hear the plates hit the sink everytime the waiters cleaned the plates 🙄🙄 that's the only reason I gave a 4 stars . Food was delicious highly recommend and will return .

My family and I went here to celebrate my mother’s birthday and the main waitress we had was TERRIBLE! My favorite thing about the entire experience was their garlic bread and cheese. I don’t think I’d ever go back to this place.

Great food, though a little pricy. The garlic bread is outrageous, seafood dishes all very good. I think they went a little heavy on the celery in the clam chowder, but other than that it was good. Drinks were STIFF. Exceptionally friendly staff and fast service, will be back!

The best seafood on the strip! Our server Dianna (or Daine) was so sweet and attentive! This is my second time visiting this restaurant and I’ll be back!

Have gone two times in 2024 and enjoyed the time spent there. The food is really great quantity of the portions, will definitely take home some leftovers. I have a great liking to seafood but I have also tried their steak meal during the special deals they have going on during certain times of the year. It was tender and a huge portion of a steak served, not tough to eat at all. Had a basket of raspberry biscuits for the table if I remember correctly. I had yellow rice and veggies with my steak. I enjoyed some dessert and a Sangria that was part of the deal. Can't speak for everyone that I had a lunch and dinner with because its different food items that others ordered and they said they really liked their food. So yes they enjoyed the food also. Good place to go to and eat.<br>2nd time @ Lobster house I had ordered seafood salad and it was huge, I shared some with the table and still ate plenty and took home leftovers of it too. Seafood salad medley was amazing with shrimp, calamari, clams and mussels and a delish cocktail sauce for the shrimp.

First time visiting and it did not disappoint! The food is excellent and the portions are huge! You will leave stuffed! The garlic bread is awesome! I had the jumbo shrimp Parmesan and it was delicious! When they say jumbo, they mean gigantic! My friend had the special with the lobster tail and it was also delicious! And to top it off, the service was great! Our sever was Oscar and he took care of us! This is definitely a place to try!

Tried it for the first time today Oscar was our server a very professional server very nice man, The food was great , The portions are nice sized and the flavors are excellent, definitely worth going back over and over

Was visitng in the area and stopped by to eat. The last few times we visited City Island, the experience wasn't so great. The good restaurants are long gone and the ones left are commercialized. We decided to stop and grab a bite. It has been a super long time I've dined here. The food was great! Fresh and good portions! Service was great! Danielle was our waitress. She was super friendly and attentive! The white sangria was delicious! It is great to know that there is still a family owned establishment that values great service and even greater food. On our way out we stopped to chat quickly with Joe the owner! Kudos to you and your team! I highly recommend this restaurant! When back in the area, we'll definitely visit again!!

Our waiterwas Moises, he was very good and attentive. The food was fresh and fulfilling. I ordered the margarita and it was the best I ever had. I don’t know what they doing back there but the whole team here was definitely on point. This will definitely be my primary choice. Next time I come to city Island.
