When we walked aallong the High Way and were hungry, we found this. Nice place, industrial origin, full of restaurants, bistros and shops. Love it, recommend it.
Its a market with a plethora of different food stalls and merchants. There is also a mini flea market towards the end. Los Tacos no.1 outlet is here also.

Definitely a must visit when in NYC.
I’ve been to Chelsea Market twice. The First time I went to Chelsea Market was in March 2023, and the second time was in December 2023. The Interior of Chelsea Market was absolutely beautiful. They have Shops, Food Places, and tons of things to do! Highly recommend coming to the Chelsea Market if it’s your first time coming to the city.
This place is an amazing and with plenty of variety of food to pick no matter what you’re craving. The atmosphere is cool, and despite how busy it gets, the place is always clean and well-kept. It’s a great place to explore, try different foods. Highly recommend stopping by!
You should definitely plan to spend a few hours here! There are many different areas to explore with stalls and shops, mostly offering art, jewellery, clothing and food products, including many unique NYC souvenirs. There’s also staff around to help with directions and questions
Always a pleasure to visit Chelsea Market. They have a bunch of cute shops and market stalls. But probably best known for it's amazing food. My personal go to is very fresh noodles, it is definitely worth the wait! Very flavorful tender noodles.
The Chelsea Market is such a fun, color, and vibrant market. There's plenty of options for food and drinks, as well as a book store, general shop, and flea market. It's such a cool space to dine at and explore.
I visited Chelsea Market a place I last visited just before COVID-19 and which has since been renovated by its owner Google and this time I found it to be quite different from how I remembered it. It is home to numerous venues offering a wide variety of flavors primarily from global cuisines. It features a good ventilation system is remarkably clean and is certainly a place worth seeing.

You might consider stopping by after taking a stroll along the High Line Observation Deck.
Chelsea Market is one of my favorite places to wander and eat in NYC. The variety of food here is incredible tacos, noodles, oysters, seafood, pastries, coffee, you name it. Everything feels fresh and high‑quality. Even when it’s busy, the energy is fun rather than overwhelming, and it’s easy to spend an hour or two just exploring the different vendors and shops. I love that it’s all indoors, so it’s perfect for a rainy day, and the building’s history as the old Nabisco (National Biscuit Company) factory gives it a cool, industrial vibe. Whether I’m grabbing Los Tacos No. 1 or just browsing, it’s always a great stop in Chelsea.
Walked to Chelsea Market on a sunny winter's day in Feb. You open the doors and the heat hits you in there. So it's toasty in there. It had similar vibes to Shoreditch market or Borough Markets in London. Lots to see in a compact space. Had the tacos from no. 1 and I actually ended up getting takeaway as well. The pork with pineapple was spicy, juicy and just fab. The service was great. You choose between corn or flour tortilla. Authentic vibes! Love ❤️. Walked around, had some chocolates from LiLacs. Service there also fantastic. Loved the marshmallow milk chocolate and the graham cracker milk chocolate. Had some souvenir Fat Witch mini brownies to go, cranberry was lovely recommended by the staff for something different. Got some sugar cookies at the stall at the end of the market where they have independent sellers for jewellry, shirts, art, etc. Sugar cookies are not really my thing but they were manageable as they werent like the traditional sweet as it was a UK lady making them. Very cute designs for NYC. There's a muji in there, souvenir food shop and didn't get to try the lobster. Would have to visit again! Near Google campus
This was our 1st time visiting Chelsea Market and Wow is all I can say. This place left us speechless. First of all the building is beautiful, then all the restaurant and shops are just amazing. This is such a unique place and we will definitely be back to explore more spots.
• Really glad I finally got to visit Chelsea Market!
• Such a great variety of food and shopping stalls—you really can’t go wrong with any of them. My favorites were the fresh noodle spot and Seed + Mill for dessert.
• We also loved the artist flea market area—so many amazing finds! Picked up some souvenirs and bath + skincare goodies from IE.
• Beautiful, spacious interiors and clean restrooms.
• Chelsea Market is definitely a must-visit when you’re in NYC! 💛
Indoor food hall and shopping destination in the Meatpacking District. Offers a wide variety of food vendors, artisanal shops, and specialty stores. Vibrant atmosphere with lots of local and tourist traffic. Great spot for tasting different cuisines, picking up unique gifts, or grabbing a quick bite. Can get crowded, especially on weekends.
Don't miss Los Tacos no.1
Great market with plenty of shops to check out and food options. There are restaurants with many different forms of cuisine to choose from with indoor and covered outdoor seating. Shops including clothing stores, gift shops, stalls for local artists, and foods. There are also restrooms on the lower level that are clean and well maintained. While we were here it was decorated for Halloween!
