My friend made reservations for 6, got there about 15 earlier and they said I can’t go in until everyone is there. Mind you the place was empty as you can see by the picture. As a business owner and a foodie I was very surprised how I was treated. I travel all over the world giving my rating on food, service, etc. I definitely will never step in this restaurant for how I was treated. They lack professionalism and caring for customers. I traveled about 2 hours to go to this restaurant too. Mind you it was best for me because I enjoyed The Take Out restaurants, which I went for a pastrami.

Food was great, especially the pizza. It also all came out really quickly. The atmosphere is amazing, the restaurant itself looks stunning.
Really beautiful chic and buzzy restaurant. Located inside the Time Out Building. The decor just works nicely with its “ chandeliers meets industrial soho” vibe. The outdoor area, if timed right during golden hour, has a great view of the sunset peaking through the Brooklyn bridge and Manhattan skyscrapers. But the real story is not the view but the food! The lobster pasta and rigatoni bolognese were my favorite but the calamari and the burrata were also delicious. Presentation and drinks were all on point and our server, Bob, was fabulous! He brought positive energy to our table and was friendly and accommodating for our party of 15. We loved him! This is a great place for date night, girls nite out or large gatherings. They have all kinds of seating for different party sizes. Loved it here and will be back to try the pizza which also looked amazing. Afterwards, you can take the elevator to the rooftop lounge of the Timeout building and dance the calories off.
We went for brunch and we enjoyed the place. The food was good and our waiter was very attentive. We had a table with a view of the Brooklyn Bridge which was pretty awesome. The place is definitely worth a second visit.
Took my family to Cecconi’s for my birthday celebration and it did not disappoint at all. The food was absolutely amazing from start to finish.

We ordered several appetizers, and the highlights were definitely the zucchini, Brussels sprouts, and tuna tartare — all so flavorful and perfectly done.

For the main course, we had the salmon, branzino, and filet mignon, and every dish was cooked beautifully. Truly worth every penny.

Highly recommend for a special occasion or just a really good night out 🤍✨
We were here for a Friday night dinner with our toddler. This is a nice and warm place tucked inside a building same as the time out market. This place felt effortlessly cozy the moment we walked in - perfect place for a date night. The service is attentive and the staff genuinely makes you feel welcome. We ordered whipped ricotta- truffle honey, eggplant parmigiana, a side of roasted potatoes and a wood fried pizza. Everything tasted good. Whipped ricotta is my personal favorite. Ask for free focaccia bread which tastes amazing with the whipped ricotta.
We celebrated our anniversary here and couldn’t have picked a better spot. The team was incredibly kind and attentive and they set us up with an amazing view of the Brooklyn Bridge that made the night feel even more special. The food was outstanding. The pastas were perfectly prepared, tasting truly authentic and homemade, and the salmon was cooked to perfection, moist and flavorful with no dryness at all. An unforgettable experience from start to finish.
Excellent customer service! Very friendly and attentive. The pizza is very thin which i love. The pasta isn't overly cooked that become super soft..it has a solid texture which i like. The seafood is fresh! Also the view here is super pretty and romantic!
Cecconi’s in DUMBO delivered an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely amazing—beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. The service was genuinely untouchable; every staff member was attentive, warm, and perfectly timed without ever feeling intrusive.
The atmosphere alone is worth the visit, but the view is what makes this place unforgettable. Looking out over both the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges is stunning, and it’s the kind of backdrop that makes any meal feel special. I can’t wait to come back in the summer to enjoy that view again with the warm weather.
If you’re in DUMBO and want a combination of great food, exceptional service, and iconic NYC scenery, Cecconi’s is a must-visit.
We went with the whole family, and overall the place was pretty good — the atmosphere was nice and the food was excellent! The only downside was our waiter, who wasn’t very attentive and barely paid attention to our table. Despite that, we really enjoyed our meal and I would definitely come back — hopefully next time we’ll get better service.
I visited Cecconi’s with my friend and left feeling a little mixed. The space itself is undeniably beautiful, and the view of the Brooklyn Bridge is really something. It looks like the kind of place where the food should blow you away, but it didn’t quite match the vibe.

We ordered the Orechiette Arrabbiata, Eggplant Parmigiana, and two Tea Amo desserts. The pasta was alright, but the eggplant parm felt underwhelming, especially for the price. I also wish they had more vegetarian options on the menu. For such an impressive restaurant, the selection felt limited. The drinks were good I enjoyed that for sure.

Parking in the area is rough, so plan for extra time if you’re driving.

The highlight of the night was the service. Our host, Juan, was genuinely kind and attentive. When I mentioned I didn’t love the eggplant parm, he surprised us with cookies on the house, which I really appreciated.

Overall, amazing ambiance and great service, but the food didn’t fully deliver for me.
Went for an early birthday celebration to Cecconi’s in Dumbo and had a wonderful time. The food was good, service was great, and the views were beautiful. One thing to note is that it is located in the same building as the Time Out Market, so we were walking around looking for a separate building for a few minutes until we realized. We appreciated the fact that they were timely, our reservation was set for 7:15 pm and we were outside seated by 7:25 pm. We sat outside in the middle of October and it was not cold, they had heaters set up all around.
Our favorite dish was the truffle honey whipped ricotta, incredible! Order their free focaccia bread basket and it goes great with it. Food was good, not excellent but the ambience and the service made up for it. Wonderful date spot / somewhere to celebrate a special occasion! Recommending coming after sunset go get a beautiful view of the bridge.
The food is kinda expensive for what it is but quite nice upscale vibes by the water, and is good enough. We like the pizza and the pancakes (hot cakes), also the pesto pasta. Love the espresso drinks. Can skip the fried calamari. They don’t seat you unless whole party is there even if you offer to order right away which is kinda annoying
For me this place is always more than 5 stars ✨ it is a gem at Dumbo area. The food is delicious, cocktails and atmosphere amazing.
Today was actually very special occasion because we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. The gave us the best table facing the east river and the city. Our server Wendy 10/10 she made the experience even better with all the best options in the menu. If you go to this place please ask for her Wendy is the best.
She will take care of y’all because we could tell is knowledgeable about premium hospitality.
This place was bustling on a Wednesday night. We ordered a bunch of food to share and the whipped ricotta and truffle pizza stole the show. The dessert was disappointing though - the cookies were too thin and very bitter. I’d suggest to skip that but we had a great time and I would def go back.
