Every single time I visit NY, I eat here at least three times. I really wish they would expand to Canada!

CAVA is always great, but Caleb truly makes it a 5-star experience. He runs everything smoothly, keeps a positive vibe, and makes customers feel genuinely welcomed. You can tell he cares about both the team and the service. Honestly, he deserves way more than just a raise. He is a perfect manager!!

We appreciate your thoughtful review! It’s wonderful to hear our New York team provided the warm hospitality we’re known for. Thanks for sharing your experience—we hope to serve you again soon.
I tried a new menu item for takeout, and it felt noticeably lighter than usual. When I opened the bowl, it was only filled about halfway. Honestly, it looked like one serving had been split between two people.

Consistency is really important, especially for a place I’ve trusted before. This portion was far below what I’ve received in the past, and it didn’t feel worth the price at all.

I hope this was just a one-off issue, but it definitely left a bad impression.
Excellent spot for miditerranean food. You can customize your bowl how you want and add sauces to your meal. Overall very good and delicious!!
This was my first time being at Cava, which is a quick-service fast-casual restaurant that serves Mediterranean food in an assembly line format.
While I wouldn't normally, I paid a bit extra to get the braised lamb with the greens and grains bowl from here.

This bowl was quite good. The base being a combination of salad and rice works well here - it keeps the meal really balanced once you mix everything around. The lamb was also very nice. While on the fattier end, the braising made it really soft and tender. While it's not quite the same level as if you were to order braised lamb at a restaurant, it's impressive how good this managed to stay despite being pre-made and sitting in the tray.

The many toppings here that you can select from are fantastic. There are a large variety of vegetables - I went with pickles, pickled onions, broccoli, and lettuce - of these the pickled onions was definitely a standout. I was able to mix this with feta for some extra flavor and pita crisps for some extra texture. I want to call out how well the pita crisps fit within this specifically - as the crunch from these mixed so well with the softness from the rest of the bowl.

Lastly, the sauces was just great. I got the yogurt dill, tzatziki, and tahini, and the amount of sauce in here was a lot. It mixed very well through the bowl, ensuring nothing was dry and providing a really good eating experience.
If I had one complaint, the pita on the side was not very good.

This cost about $18 given the extra price for the braised lamb, but the portion size was pretty large - although maybe not for the meat itself.

Overall, this is customizable, quick, and high quality. If I worked around here I would come back a lot. 8.25/10
The employee added too much dressing to the bowl, making it very soggy and less enjoyable to eat. I didn’t mention it at the time since it was peak lunch hour and I was in a rush. I felt the need to leave a review, as I’ve been to other locations where staff remain attentive even during busy periods.
I went to CAVA on 38 Broadway recently, and I have to say the food was amazing. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and exactly how I like it. I loved being able to customize my bowl with all the toppings and sauces.

The vibe of the place is casual and welcoming, perfect for a quick bite or lunch with friends. But the service, especially with someone like Lili working there, really makes it memorable.

10/10 would come back the food is great, and staff like Lili make it even better!
LOVE this place!! Keyla and another crew member were super helpful with recommendations! My friend came here for the first time and really enjoyed the food and great service.
Literally gives nothing, terrible customer service literally what the hell?! Never have I gotten such a bad bowl when I say extra bro put 3 onions on??
My favorite Cava ever. Everything was super delicious. I love getting the kids meal. Even when the line is super busy, the staff moves super fast. Bionda is super amazing, and the entire team.
We tried Harissa Avocado Bowl and vegetarian-friendly Falafel Bowl. Harissa Avocado Bowl was good and filling, but we were very disappointed with Falafel Bowl. For a price of nearly $19, we expected more than just two falafels, and felt like a rip-off. We felt cheated with that. Falafel Bowl tasted good, but not worth the price!

This restaurant has only about six chairs, so it can be very difficult to find a place to sit, especially during busy hours.

Customer service could be more friendly. Based on our experience, we will not be returning to this location.
Come here for Mediterranean chipotle. Food is amazing. Taste great. Feels great. No complains. There is little seating but you don’t come here for atmosphere. Take the food elsewhere. I’d eat here daily though
My favorite bowl place, healthy, tasty and very filling for about $13. We always get the build your own bowl and I strongly recommend it. If you aren't super hungry, it can be made in to potentially two meals (at least 1.5). They have some seating inside and a few desserts.

They have 5 bases (black lentils is my favorite), 7 proteins (we usually get half and half), 8 dressings and 10+ toppings. Hard to go wrong here.
Came to have some affordable, warm and healthy food. It was a right choice. Ordered two salads, got them directly, they were very tasty. We paid 30 usd for both. Otherwise, the place has some seats inside, quite spacious, no queue on the Friday evening. Can absolutely recommend the place.
This location is extremely hectic during lunch hours. If you order pick up, it will not be placed in a bag. Your order will be sitting out on the shelves for anyone to tamper with and your sauce ordered ‘on the side’ will likely be snatched by someone who doesn’t want to pay extra for their own. You then have to disrupt the register worker which delays the line.

I ordered 2 bowls for pick up that had the exact same contents. However, one bowl was missing rice and the other bowl seemed to have 2 scoops of sauce instead of 3. My bowls were also in separate places even though ordered for the same pick up time. I specifically asked for utensils on the app, but that didn’t matter because my food wasn’t even placed in a bag.

I do not recommend this place unless you go when it’s empty and the workers are in a good mood. I would like a refund of the total of one order. I’m completely dissatisfied and disappointed.

Bowl on the left has no rice.
Bowl on the right has rice and barely any Tzatziki
